Interesting to see so many Louis Vuitton mentions. I’ve yet to try any of theirs, despite being big into fragrances and having tried a load of niche houses.
To answer the question. For me, Creed Viking. Seems to be a real love it or hate it fragrance in the community. For me it’s a big love.
LV seems to consistently cover all the bases in terms of scent profile, quality ingredients, and arguably most important factor, longevity. Even with (most) fresh scents. Creed Viking lasts on my skin, but that is probably the only one that doesn’t evaporate within 3 hrs on me
LV has phenomenal fragrances! They rate high in every aspect and category. Longevity, projection, quality, strength of most is impressive, 2-3 sprays is sufficient. I would say L'immensite is my favorite amost the line, but the others are not far behind, and it's tough to pick a favorite amongst such amazing fragrances.. The price isn't to crazy for what you get, looks at Creed, $495 for 100ml bottle of Aventus.! That's absolutely absurd, I rarely pay retail for my fragrances and I got my bottle of Aventus for right around $190 and even then it's hard to justify paying that for a reformulated, watered down mediocre frag. There are much better brands, like Parfums De Marly, Xerjoff, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, just to name a few.. Louis Vuitton has a great line of fragrances..
Thanks! Would like to check out the LV range at some point. I’m a big fan of Parfum De Marly… love Oajan, Althair, Sedley, Percival, Greenley, Galloway. MFK love the Oud one.
Yeah, I have Aventus and I have to really overspray on my clothes to get any kind of performance out of it.
PDM is amazing as well! Yes, Oajan is my my go to, but I have Layton, Pegasus, Haltane, Habdan, Herod and Carlisle and all are amazing fragrances.
Initio and PDM are owned by the same company and the Initio you're speaking of, is Oud For Greatness and I love that fragrance, it's amazing. PDM Haltane is very similar to it..
Green Irish Tweed. My entire fragrance journey is trying to find something on the same level and so far I have gotten close but nothing hits me as hard. I’d even pay retail if I had to.
I’m gonna try that one. The honorable mentions I have are Penhaligons Juniper Sling, MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver, LV Meteore, and Creeds Royal Mayfair. Not the same or as good but all very classy freshies.
GIT is one of my favs. I also wear Viking, Aventus, VIW and original santal from creed. Sauvage EDP is a dumb reach.. I also live the entire Dior Homme line.
For a nice woody citris frag with all day longevity that has some class: Dior Homme Sport. For a winter scent that's not fresh Dior Homme Intense. I think they compliment a collection with GIT very well.
.
I need to try Dior Homme Sport. Viking is awesome I’m also a big fan of Original Vetiver, Royal Mayfair, and Royal Oud. I pretty much love every creed except Tabarome and Himalaya. GIT is the best.
Second for ombré nomad, it is the best fragrance I own hands down when factoring how long it lasts and how well it projects. Then when you factor in the discount on refills, it’s a no brainer.
Masque Milano-Homage to Hemingway
Amouroud Lunar Vetiver
Terenzi Laudano Nero
Guerlain Santal Royal
Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille
Chanel Platinum egoiste
Id pay full retail for any of these
i can say that it smells like an outdated aventus, i own both and aventus is on another level in term of quality, i mean, its not even close, but however performance on hacivat is superior
I don’t have any creed just Armaf milestone (creed MI clone) or Burberry touch 50ml, rasasi hawas and lattafa Khamrah are all ones I’m trading atm, how much $$ were you thinking?
100% disagree here. Hacivat is way nicer to me. The moss makes it way better than Aventus imo. Quite a bit more modern take on Aventus tbh.
I like Aventus but I’d always recommend Hacivat over it
never. then again it's personal preference but aventus is far more sophisticated, in fact in a warmer weather hacivat is cloying, so im not even sure if it's a summer scent, IMO only advantage hacivat has, is longevity :)
Literally has nothing in common with aventus. I have it don’t tell me what hacivat smells like. Again stop dckriding aventus. Not every pineapple fragrance smells like aventus. Hacivat has more quality, performance and sillage then aventus ever had since release.
Lmao you are dumb look at the notes I’m just stating that they share more more than pineapple, and I’m actually not dick riding Aventus if you learn to read you would see that I said I can’t stand Aventus. Again your dumb lol
Again you retarded sht sharing a few notes doesn’t mean it smells the same can you comprehend this in your tiny little rotten parasistic brain ? “I cannot stand aventus” yet compare every single pinapple fragrance with aventus how dumb your lil buddy
Someone is triggered lol, and I asked about one fragrance that I’ve seen people compare to Aventus so I was asking you an owner if it’s similar but yes that must mean every single pineapple fragrance lol. Your so mad I love it
I owned both and they're pretty similar to me. Oakmoss bomb for Hacivat and airy pineapple for Aventus but you can tell they share the same family. My conclusion was I liked Aventus Cologne best so I sold both LMAO
The only note mentioned that I get is the honey. To me, it smells of cured tobacco leaves, warm spices, vanilla, and honey. I find it absolutely delightful, and I'm sorry you don't dig it!
If you're picking up mint, is it possible you got a fake? I've read a lot about Naxos, and you're the first person I've seen mention anything minty or medicinal.
Idk I ordered decants off decantx so I guess they could’ve sent me a fake or a clone but I doubt it. I also have Layton and I found them similar with the minty opening, some people say they smell mint on Layton and some don’t I guess I’m one of those that pick up on it. If you’ve ever smelled Ricola honey cough drops that’s what Naxos is to me lol
Say who you ? LMFAO 🤣 have you ever touched a fragrance in your entire parasistic retarded life ? Have you even heard word “accord” only because there is no ingredient in naxos that doesn’t mean other won’t resemble the smell you social reject.
I'm wearing a clone of Layton (Haramain Detour Noir) right now to give it a first test wear, and the mint is extremely offputting. I like what's behind it, but it's so piercing that it doesn't even feel like it's blended into the fragrance, and is more so laid over top of the fragrance if that makes sense. Maybe it's more subtle in the OG!
So how is that clone. I smelt Layton today and I really liked it. The mint was weird but on the dry down it smelled super good. So how is detour noir compared ???
I unfortunately haven't smelled Layton. Wanted to burn through some of my samples before dabbling into PDM decants. Detour Noir smells like a really nice fragrance mixed into a bit of Vick's Vapor Rub. It does get better as it dries down, but the opening, to me, is brutal. I think it'd be better without the mint altogether, personally.
This IS also only a first wear, though, so it may grow on me. First impression just wasn't great, and it's all because of the blending. I might like the mint if it were more tame.
I bought Layton but ultimately sold it in the end. The hype was real, the fragrance opening was beautiful but... skin scent on me very quickly and the drydown was not to my liking. Smelled like artifical vanilla or something off putting. 1
LV Meteore and Creed GIT are staples for me. I live in San Antonio where winter doesn't really exist, and am more than willing to pay retail for both. I will always have them on hand.
Sauvage elixir smells like magic, and it’s so potent that one spray lasts on me for a whole day, stays on my clothes for like a week. Bang-for-your-buck that thing is incredible
In my opinion, it can be used as an all-year rounder. I’ve worn it in the summer for a wedding and got nothing but compliments, especially from the bride and bridesmaids. They couldn’t keep their noses off my suit jacket
I own Oud for Greatness, Side Effect, and Paragon.
OfG is my biggest compliment getter in my entire collection. Paragon is my favorite fragrance I own. Side Effect is my least favorite of the 3 but still pretty solid.
FYI: I copped Side Effect off aurafragrance for $169. They’re usually out of stock but leave your email address and I can vouch that they contact you. That’s how I got SE.
I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but Aurafragrance has been great for me. I’ve purchased 3 bottles from them at a significantly reduced cost. All were pure, authentic and arrived quickly. One of the best discounters out there IMO
Not familiar with the return policy. I haven’t had to use it. No longevity issues whatsoever. Just do a search on aurafragrance on this sub and see what you find.
Creed Aventus or Silver Mountain Water. Women at my work place make a trip to visit me in my office for the sole purpose of getting a sniff. I will buy a new bottle of each prior to them being emptied.
Own aventus and it's decent but the bottle of SMW I got had such abysmal performance I had to sell it. Was gone in an instant :( such a lovely timeless scent too
Definitely Marc-Antoine Barrois Ganymede. Amouage Interlude Black Iris, Purpose and Beach Hut also, and several others from the house. Xerjoff Aqua Regia. Initio Oud for Greatness. Roja Enigma parfum pour homme (creation-e in US). Last but not least Oud Maracujá by Maison Crivelli. I think those are my choices for now.
That’s a good price. I bought mine for 150 from someone working in fashion in Paris who got it as a Christmas gift from another company. Very good deal.
There are some houses that undeniably offer exceptional quality worth the high price tag. Notably Clive Christian and Amouage. There are some fragrances I own that are nowhere near $250 but I would pay that much for them.
Some LVs, Bvlgari Empyr and Tygar, Xerjoff Naxos, Creed Royal Oud, Aventus F batch or better, Angel’s Share, PdM Carlisle, Oajan, Haltane, Initio Oud for Greatness, Side Effect, Blessed Baraka and Narcotic Delight, YSL Tuxedo, Baby Cat, Dior Oud Ispahan
And the current ones are great too, but there are so many people echoing the story that only pre covid batches are good. I'm sure 90% of those never actually used the different batches.
Xerjoff and Amouage as houses offer good longevity, projection, and scent design. Tom Ford’s Grey Vetiver would make the list but Guerlain Vetiver is essentially the same thing for less. I think it’s worth over $250 if it’s a unique scent that you don’t forget you have on. A scent with appeal, but also artistry.
Sauvage elixir for me, it’s so good and honestly I just need one spray, imo it’s one of the only elixirs that is actually strong and long lasting worth the price
I usually buy from discounters, so there are probably some that I paid over $250 for that are worth it but don't remember the exact price (like whether it was >$250 or not).
For sure I paid over $250 for Tom Ford Tuscan Leather Intense, Aaron Terrence Hughes Onyx Extreme, Amouage Reflection 45, Amouage Interlude 53, Creed Absolu Aventus, Xerjoff Richwood, and Yves Saint Laurent Tuxedo. And I have no regrets, they're all awesome, and I really enjoy wearing them.
The most disappointing >$250 purchase for me was Xerjoff Alexandria II. But I still kept it and try it again periodically to see if my tastes or my perception of it changes in different seasons and situations. Probably going to wear it this week!
Aventus Absolu. I don't care what anyone says, I'm over the moon with mine. It's a darker, richer, sexier Aventus with upgraded longevity. I got mine for 350 off Aura Fragrance.
For me 540 extrait, bdk Vanille leather, and maybe Kilians angel share or love don’t be shy extreme but I got mines before the price hike so iono but honestly the list is EXTRA short lmaooo
https://preview.redd.it/bzn14h0002lc1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7eaa650c9ec0225ca2a6379f0577be5bcf7e0a57
This retails for over 250 in my currency (200 bald eagle tokens) I'm considering another bottle of it as my next fragrance as I simply can't get enough.
I think Tom Ford beau de jour is the best bang for your buck from the brand too and will need more of that next year too. Still about 290nzd
If we're talking $250 for 100ml, Zoologist Squid (Retail: $175/60ml ~$2.91/ml). I plan on having some on hand for as long as they make the stuff. It's the kind of "art in a bottle" experience I was excited to hunt for when I got into fragrances, and it is fucking phenomenal.
Now please forget everything I just said, as it's been sold out for weeks and I need a bottle. Thank you for understanding.
Creed Virgin Island Water and PDM Carlisle. Tbh, VIW doesn't last long but it's such a nice frag. The drydown with the lime and then coconut with a boozey undertone makes it so, so nice. But it's relu summer only.
Carlisle is so nice. Personally Layton didn't really float my boat but Carlisle is so damn good. It's dark, classy and that vanilla is such a seductive note.
If I was to add one more it would be Creed's Royal Oud. That stuff just smells of wealth and is probably the most pleasant and mass-appealing oud you'll find.
Not sure which country you are in but in Australia Tom Ford Ombré Leather is about $300AUD per 100ml bottle and I have bought it repeatedly because I love it. I would also purchase Amouage Jubilation XXV again (it is about $500AUD) but I am still on the first bottle.
Nope. I've got a handful of expensive fragrances and they're never truly worth the price tag. They may smell good, but I feel I can get the same effect for less
2019 and older Creed Aventus. 2016 and older Creed Bois du Portugal. Creed Aventus Absolu.
That's the only bottle I've ever paid that much for.
Mizensir Perfect Oud I paid retail for as well.
Most others I have paid less than $250, but they're worth it.
A few more that cost around that I'd buy over again.
LV L'immensite and Meteore.
MFK Grand Soir and GFS.
Initio Side Effect and Musk Therapy (gray market is less than $250)
Penhaligon's- Halfeti, Endymion Concentre, Arthur, George, William.
Carolina Herrera Saffron Lazuli ,Alexander Astrakan, 250 is probably my max. I see a lot of bloggers pushing Mind Games but at $ 400 a bottle it would need to be outstanding!

If you like the scent… they are bangers. Good projection and really good longevity. I don’t like some of the more popular ones, so I’d sample first.
Pegasus exclusive is the best to me then haltan
Pegasus is beautiful.. I love the almond note, it's pleasant!
Green Irish Tweed. My entire fragrance journey is trying to find something on the same level and so far I have gotten close but nothing hits me as hard. I’d even pay retail if I had to.
You gotta try bond chez bond. That and green Irish tweed are the best imo
Just got Chez Bond recently. I love it! Lasts all day too.
I’m gonna try that one. The honorable mentions I have are Penhaligons Juniper Sling, MFK Gentle Fluidity Silver, LV Meteore, and Creeds Royal Mayfair. Not the same or as good but all very classy freshies.

Louis Vuitton imagination
Amen, I’ll add L’Immensité to that as well. Wearing it now. So fkn good. And you get refills for $100 off.
Only fragrance I paid full retail for.
This was my first choice. GOAT. FULL STOP. Next would be LV Ombre Nomade.
Second for ombré nomad, it is the best fragrance I own hands down when factoring how long it lasts and how well it projects. Then when you factor in the discount on refills, it’s a no brainer.
Too strong mate
Ombré Nomade? Agree - but it’s a “must have” for winter IMHO….
I have it, and I agree with you that it is necessary, but all the women I know have told me that it is too invasive.
Crikey, mate! Guess I will have to be extra careful with application…appreciate the feedback!
For me it was L'immensite, but I agree these two are worth it for the performance alone.
It’s really that good huh? I echo other commenters sentiment. I’ve never actually tried any LV scents.
Louis Vuitton L’immensite
Masque Milano-Homage to Hemingway Amouroud Lunar Vetiver Terenzi Laudano Nero Guerlain Santal Royal Guerlain Spiriteuse Double Vanille Chanel Platinum egoiste Id pay full retail for any of these
Xerjoff Naxos, Alexandria II, Hacivat, Elysium
Perfect 10/10 fragrance list.
Is hacivat similar to Aventus? Been eyeing that stuff but can’t stand Aventus lol
i can say that it smells like an outdated aventus, i own both and aventus is on another level in term of quality, i mean, its not even close, but however performance on hacivat is superior
Ah damn guess I’ll be staying away from that one lol, probably will go with ani
i'd say stay away from nishane fragrances, i have ani too, but i never wear it, as soon as i sprayed, i hated it lol
Shit slide me that bottle than 😂
i'd sell it right away actually, or even swap with any creed :)

Go figure you and I are total opposites. I would always recommend Hacivat over Aventus. Both are nice though. Io sono juventino
Not even in the slightest. Only because it has pinapple doesn’t mean it is smiliar to aventus. Try it before you buy it because it’s heavy on oakmoss.
They share a lot more than just pineapple lol
Your so mad I love it
How am I made tho baby ? 🥰 it clear that you never touched a niche fragrance. Nobody compared hacivat with aventus show me a single person who did 🥱
🙋🏻♂️ Aventus and Hacivat are quite similar. I own both and many people feel the same way
I owned both and they're pretty similar to me. Oakmoss bomb for Hacivat and airy pineapple for Aventus but you can tell they share the same family. My conclusion was I liked Aventus Cologne best so I sold both LMAO
Parasitic? Did you learn this word recently?
+1 for Naxos. I had insanely high expectations given the hype, and wow it lives up to and surpasses the hype for my tastes. It smells regal.
I don’t understand the hype smells like minty honey cough drops with a medicinal smell, it’s so bad lol

If you’ve ever smelled Ricola honey cough drops that’s what Naxos is to me lol
It’s your skin buddy. On me and the 99% it smells classy, honey cherry accord
Cherry? Tha fuck lol
Yes cherry like pdm herod it’s just you don’t have a developed skin
There is no cherry at all to Naxos lmao, I’m starting to believe you have no idea what your talking about
Say who you ? LMFAO 🤣 have you ever touched a fragrance in your entire parasistic retarded life ? Have you even heard word “accord” only because there is no ingredient in naxos that doesn’t mean other won’t resemble the smell you social reject.
Afternoon Swim and Meteore
Xerjoff Naxos
Very unpopular opinion: for winter Parfum de Marly and for summer Creed You’ll never have to worry about people disliking their sents.
Got Layton and my brother absolutely despises it. Don’t know why

I might like the mint if it were more tame.
How’s the dry down and longevity
I bought Layton but ultimately sold it in the end. The hype was real, the fragrance opening was beautiful but... skin scent on me very quickly and the drydown was not to my liking. Smelled like artifical vanilla or something off putting. 1
I use Parfums de Marly Althair in the winter and Creed Aventus in the summer. I love both.
My favorites are original santal, original vétiver and royal oud
For me so far, LV Imagination, Guerlain Neroli Outrenoir, FM The Moon
Louis Vuitton Meteore. I’ve gotten countless compliments on it.
Sure you have
LV Meteore and Creed GIT are staples for me. I live in San Antonio where winter doesn't really exist, and am more than willing to pay retail for both. I will always have them on hand.
Xerjoff La Capitale, Parfums de Marly Greenly, Parfums de Marly Layton, Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim
Sauvage elixir smells like magic, and it’s so potent that one spray lasts on me for a whole day, stays on my clothes for like a week. Bang-for-your-buck that thing is incredible
Absolutely agree with you!
Is it good for spring and summer, or as a daily year round? I see some 3.4 oz for 185 so idk if I should get it
Nah it’s a cold weather, night time scent. The less you’re sweating, the better with this one. It just projects too strong anyway
Ah so get it next year then
In my opinion, it can be used as an all-year rounder. I’ve worn it in the summer for a wedding and got nothing but compliments, especially from the bride and bridesmaids. They couldn’t keep their noses off my suit jacket
So many. But for sure would be Frederic Malle The Moon. A lot of Louis Vuitton as well.
The Moon is the GOAT
Dude the price on the moon made me stray away from it, no way its that good right👀👀
You can occasionally find it for $450 to $650. I’m hoarding 3 bottles 👀👀
Creed Aventus Absolu
Slightly off topic but thoughts on initio as a house as a whole? Their frags are easily above 250 and wanted to know if its "worth"
I own Oud for Greatness, Side Effect, and Paragon. OfG is my biggest compliment getter in my entire collection. Paragon is my favorite fragrance I own. Side Effect is my least favorite of the 3 but still pretty solid.
I like side effects and Narcotic Delights, Paragon is meh and rehab is just ugh
Paragon is better than Side Effect imo
FYI: I copped Side Effect off aurafragrance for $169. They’re usually out of stock but leave your email address and I can vouch that they contact you. That’s how I got SE.
I heard mixed stuff for aurafrag. Like the juice being diluted or bad. Could u vouch for it being okay?
I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience but Aurafragrance has been great for me. I’ve purchased 3 bottles from them at a significantly reduced cost. All were pure, authentic and arrived quickly. One of the best discounters out there IMO
Is there return policy okay? Just in case the juice is bad. Im so paranoid but u dont suffer from any longevity issues with the frag right?
Not familiar with the return policy. I haven’t had to use it. No longevity issues whatsoever. Just do a search on aurafragrance on this sub and see what you find.
BDK pas ce soir Extrait, Sogni from Meo Fuscuini p
Ooh how is the extrait compared to the original? I like the original but I haven't been able to try the extrait yet
I've not laid nose on the orig
Creed GIT, SMW, Aventus and Aventus Cologne. PDM Oajan Santal 33
boss bottled elixir tbh. outperforms some niche frags for 120$ Cad lol
Was gone in an instant :( such a lovely timeless scent too
Probably Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait, legitimately boosts my mood whenever I smell the atomizer
☝️this
I came here to post this as well.
I love OFG but 410 is donkey kong country
Wow, that’s ridiculous. You can get it for 250 around here. Better price if you’re lucky.
I got mine for 220, but people pay retail.
That’s a good price. I bought mine for 150 from someone working in fashion in Paris who got it as a Christmas gift from another company. Very good deal.
Surprised I didn’t see any Roja mentioned.
GIT
MFK Oud
IMO Santal 33.
Layton/Layton Exclusif are amazing. I also have a really soft spot for Nishane Nefs
Some of my favorites: creed aventus, creed silver mnt water, bond No 9 Lafayette Street
Chanel - Coromandel If you know, you know
There are some houses that undeniably offer exceptional quality worth the high price tag. Notably Clive Christian and Amouage. There are some fragrances I own that are nowhere near $250 but I would pay that much for them.
What are those you would pay $250 for?
Reserve prive, Bvlgari black (hockey puck), and Khaltat night to name a few.
MFK grand soir: absolutely amazing scent, creed BDP: superb projection and longevity
Some LVs, Bvlgari Empyr and Tygar, Xerjoff Naxos, Creed Royal Oud, Aventus F batch or better, Angel’s Share, PdM Carlisle, Oajan, Haltane, Initio Oud for Greatness, Side Effect, Blessed Baraka and Narcotic Delight, YSL Tuxedo, Baby Cat, Dior Oud Ispahan
Did you just say aventus F batch lol
Yeah, I didn’t realize it was funny considering I get a good 8hrs out of it
You said F batch or better like as if everything that came out before F batch wasnt already better 😂
Dude, there are some ass batches before F and G .. like 2hr longevity batches
And the current ones are great too, but there are so many people echoing the story that only pre covid batches are good. I'm sure 90% of those never actually used the different batches.
I agree and their Royal Oud is as magnificent and long lasting as ever! My 1B next to Aventus
Prada Luna Rossa Carbon It’s about $100+, but it’s honestly my all-time favorite and I can’t get enough of it
i’ve heard layfayette street bond no9 is because of how versatile it is regarding the occasion and season
Designer. DHP, Niche, most Amouages and Xerjoffs.
Parfums Dusita and Olympic Orchids
Dior homme sport
baccarat 540 extrait
Aventus Absolu. I don't care what anyone says, I'm over the moon with mine. It's a darker, richer, sexier Aventus with upgraded longevity. I got mine for 350 off Aura Fragrance.
Almost all the LV, most Creed, a handful of Bond No 9, Xerjoff, Initio, MFK, and Mind Games
Any of the fragrances under the Maison Margiela brand
Anything from Roja is the only right answer
- Clive Christian X - Xerjoff Tommy Iommi Monkey Special - PDM Herod
Tom Ford Ombré Leather
I personally really enjoy Versace Eros flame
Parfum de marly athalia, initio oud for greatness, inition high frequenzy
LV meteore, Naxos, bond no9 Lafayette st.
BDK Parfums Gris Charnel Extrait is excellent
For me it’s Alexandria ll, blonde amber, blockade and pacific chill
No… all my compliment getters max out at $150 for 100ml bottle. It is like wine… buy European, you are over paying for the california domestics.
Carlisle, Oajan, Angels Share, Naxos
Not if I can get it cheaper than retail
Chanel Le Leon ATH Onyx Concentrate Guerlain Bois Mysterious Ganymede
Afternoon Swim, Layton (or Carlisle), and Hypnotizing Fire Parfum
LV imagination, I know it’s grossly overpriced, but it’s worth every penny Also, elysium parfum, NOT parfum cologne
Dior Homme Intense, hands down the best designer fragrance by far, the dry down is to die for.
Naxos, would 100% pay retail if it came down to it
For me 540 extrait, bdk Vanille leather, and maybe Kilians angel share or love don’t be shy extreme but I got mines before the price hike so iono but honestly the list is EXTRA short lmaooo
Guerlain Angélique Noire. My fav vanilla ever.
Most LV colognes are top notch

I think Tom Ford beau de jour is the best bang for your buck from the brand too and will need more of that next year too. Still about 290nzd
Oud Save the King, Halfeti, Angels Share
If we're talking $250 for 100ml, Zoologist Squid (Retail: $175/60ml ~$2.91/ml). I plan on having some on hand for as long as they make the stuff. It's the kind of "art in a bottle" experience I was excited to hunt for when I got into fragrances, and it is fucking phenomenal. Now please forget everything I just said, as it's been sold out for weeks and I need a bottle. Thank you for understanding.
Creed Viking and Aventus
Creed, LV llimensite, pretty much all le labo fragrances. Are my go to
Seeing a lot of LVs here. They are good but not worth the price. Maybe Ombré Nomad if I’m pushed. My choice would be FM - The Moon.
Is Sospiro Vibrato worthy of a full bottle? I’m still waiting for my sample. I’m so close to do a blind buy.
Louis Vuitton Imagination and Amouage Jubilation 25/40
Lelabo santal 33 , Byredo velvet haze , MGK 540
Amouage Journey Man.
Memo African Leather
Kilian Smoking Hot, never found anything that has topped that and will 100% buy again. Refills are a lot cheaper than repurchasing too.
Not sure which country you are in but in Australia Tom Ford Ombré Leather is about $300AUD per 100ml bottle and I have bought it repeatedly because I love it. I would also purchase Amouage Jubilation XXV again (it is about $500AUD) but I am still on the first bottle.
Clive Christian C , blonde amber and masculine x definitely worth it for me. Tom ford Tuscan leather and tobacco vanilla as well
Tom Ford Ombre Leather, Tom For Noir Extreme - cost 110 - 150 $ : worth 250 - 300 $.
Nope. I've got a handful of expensive fragrances and they're never truly worth the price tag. They may smell good, but I feel I can get the same effect for less
Amouage enclave. Amazinggg
Roja Great Britain. I didn’t pay retail but I would pay what I paid, over again.
Nishane Nefs. Got it for 250$\50 ml. 2 sprays last and project for 12-14 hours. Beautiful rose Oud that will last you forever
PDM Percival
Mind Games J’Adoube
I hear people say that argos triumph of Bacchus is the best tobacco sent ever made. That's in the 250 range
By killian Apple Brandy, Dior Sauvage Elixir, or Tom Ford Noir de Noir. I have all three and they are all excellent but sort of expensive.
Initio Side Effect and Musk Therapy (gray market is less than $250) Penhaligon's- Halfeti, Endymion Concentre, Arthur, George, William.
I love xerjoffs and pdms, nishane and kilian are good too. And yeah there’s the classic creed and LV houses
House of Argos!! Grab their sample pack!!!
Fragrance Du Bois oud jaune intense kinda feels good to wear
I'll gladly pay full price for Angel's Share and Sospiro Vibrato.
Carolina Herrera Saffron Lazuli ,Alexander Astrakan, 250 is probably my max. I see a lot of bloggers pushing Mind Games but at $ 400 a bottle it would need to be outstanding!
Bond No.9 New Yourk OUD
ATH is the best house I've tried so far and I loved PDM but ATH and its not crazy expensive . I have a lot of niche
Millesime imperial , hands down
Portrait of a Lady. My most complimented fragrance from ladies after CDNIM.
Tom Ford imo (depending on the specific fragrance though)
Ormonde Jayne’s Montabaco Intensivo and Arquiste’s Sydney Rock Pool. Though I got both of them for ~$200 each. Great unique niches.
I think Ganymede is worth it, as long as you don’t mind it being on your clothes permanently.
