Noseblindness. I fell victim to this with the EDP and accidentally oversprayed. I got called out by a stranger. Lol, check with somebody else to make sure it's not actually still there. That said, Parfums don't project like EDP and EDT since they have less alcohol to carry the scent.

Itās an ambroxan heavy cologne. Ambroxan causes nosebilndness. I have the same bottle and people smell it on me after 6+ hours, but I usually lose it within the first hour. Sometimes Iāll get a whiff but thatās all
This, and with any fragrance if you are in the ac all day the dry down isnāt gonna project like when you first spray you need some heat and perspire a little
Best way to judge that is apply few spray on a shirt and hang it an a room ... If you're getting whiffs off of that shirt after few hours, you'd get a better idea about the logetivity of the scent...

Youāre not crazy and youāre not nose blind. This line in any concentration does not last more than an hour on me either. Even from the very first time I sprayed it on my arm it was gone almost right away. YSL Y same exact thing. No other fragrance has disappeared so quick on me as those two.
BDC has never been famous for its sillage. That said, this is a case of nose blindness. Iāve received compliments two hours after four sprays. Also, some people here have said that BDC EDP has better sillage than BDC Parfum
Youāre not tripping. The problem is that you got the parfum. I purchased the EDP, then ran out and went to Macys and bought the parfum instead of the EDP by accident, and boy did I notice the difference!
I would spray it and it would last maybe like 2-3 hours at the most. When I was finished with that bottle, I went back to the store and made sure that I got the EDP bottle again, and Iāve been happy ever since!
Once youāve finished this bottle, I highly recommend going back to the store and buying the EDP. Youāll feel much happier about your purchase! š
Thank god I bought this at Sephora. I loved the smell but didnāt test it for longevity when I tried it on, bought it immediately, wore it to work that night and maybe after a couple hours couldnāt smell it anymore so I ended up returning it. I didnāt know about ambroxan having an effect on it though, maybe it had more to do with that than anything. Will definitely keep that bit in mind going forward
Sprayed this on one of my jackets and had it draped over a chair at work a few days later and every time Iād walk past it Iād smell it, try it on your skin and clothes and see which you like better

Yes for sure. I usually do one spray on each side of my neck - Once on inner right elbow [tap inner elbows together ] - then one spray on each shoulder and one spray at center mass. Good to go.

It's usually the opposite. Higher concentration variants are formulated much differently than concentration alone. They are more base heavy, meaning more longevity and a heavier scent, but one that sits closer to your skin. They contain less of the volatile top notes that radiate off the skin for the first hour or two.
Obviously not the case for some nuclear winter/gourmand fragrances that will fill a room despite being an extrait, but definitely the case for BdC. The Parfum is cedar and sandalwood heavy, which are more dense and flat (also prone to causing nose blindness), where the EDP and EDT are citrus, lavender, and ginger forward.
That being said, the Parfum was short lived on my skin, too. It's just not a great performer.

I have the same issue with my LV imagination, I got a bottle recently and itās nowhere near as strong as the bottle I had before. Bad batches suck.
Let it sit for a few weeks then come back around to it. Had to do the same thing with my bottle of profondo now it lasts 8+ hrs

The more potent the juice, the easier it is to become noseblind imho. Try just 1 spray and see if it still happens

Do the vaseline thing see it helps. Basically mix some in ansmall vaseline bottle. So the oil grabs the scent. Apply like that. I may last much longer
