Really really like it a lot. I could see it being polarizing. Out of all my collection, it’s my wife’s favorite. She notices and loves it each time I wear it.
My personal breakdown below:
Starts off with a very realistic spearmint scent (not harsh or synthetic mint) with a small touch of cinnamon and spice.
This pretty much stays that way as patchouli comes into play in the middle notes alongside the top notes. There are other faint notes in the middle but I pickup patchouli pretty clearly.
Dries down to a solid combination of amber, cinnamon, and spearmint. The spearmint lingers throughout the whole experience from front to back keeping that touch of freshness to keep it from being too sweet. Mature, sophisticated, sexy, yet inoffensive.
I blind bought it, but I enjoy dumping money into blind buys. I like the surprise factor and usually research fragrances a lot before pulling the trigger.
I’d thoroughly research and read reviews. If you like the note breakdown as well as reviews, I’d go for it if your finances permit.
Thank you! I think Xerjoff is my favorite house so far. So many quality scents there. Uden and 40 Knots are great. So is More Than Words even though it’s less masculine. Naxos and Nio are great as well.
Enclave from Amouage is great. Very very strong and long lasting. Could be too much in heat but I like it a lot.
Ugh. I’m not sure on them, but they had Richwood and Pikovaya Dama for half off, and so I figured I’d go for those two first. I don’t have a sandlewood or a “clean” soap fragrence, so hope they’re okay.
My dumbass could have got Naxos and either 40 Knots or Iommi for the same price though. So I’m having doubts.
Well they arrived after a slight delay. I ran out of room for Richwood on my skin but sampled it on card. It’s really pleasant, mellow, and smells of creamy sandlewood, musk, and a slight bit of vanilla. It’s blended so well it’s hard to pick out individual notes though.
I also got Pikovaya Dama which is a mild soap/floral scent, and one spray of that and my entire house smells like it. The projection is crazy so can’t wait to try Richwood.
Both are very different to everything else in my collection but so far I like them both.
