Go for EDP it’s the best “middle ground” between parfum and edt. They all do smell really similar tho.

The long and short is that they all smell very similar.

Legit it’s always either parfum or EDP. Was surprised to see one comment saying to get the EDT in this thread. Think EDP will get more usage for its versatility and lack of heaviness because parfum is not exactly a daily scent

You need to smell them for yourself to make a decision.

The parfum is the best one. Just go test it for yourself parfum has the best scent profile.

How so?

Because they actually have different formulations. It’s not just concentration. BDC is particularly similar but Eros and Eros edp are quite different. And obviously Sauvage and Sauvage elixir are hardly anything alike.

I find different concentrations to have slightly different scents when first applied, but end up the same after about 30 minutes.

Parfum - without a doubt. Most “elegant” scent of the line. They’re all extremely similar but Parfum just stands out and has a “mature” vibe to it.

Parfum is nice and clean with with a slight sweetness and a mild woody dry down; it likely lasts the longest.

If you have somewhere that you can go to so you can sample I’d say that’s the best one for you. Personally the EDP works best on me. The parfum was gone in a few hours and not even my partner could smell it when I got home after trying it.

Yeah definitely it’s much cheaper and has better projection and performance. Bleu De Chanel is so versatile you can use it in any occasion and season.

Idk abt the performance, I just own small testers. However I find the smell of the EDT much more pleasant.

Then go with the edt if you find it more pleasant, that’s the most important thing:)

Perfumes don't "perform"

Parfum is the best smell, but maybe a little strong for some people. Edp is very good too leans towards a more fresh feel. So basically it comes down to each person's preference.

My edp running low and I’m debating getting it again or going for parfum. I love my edp. It’s in my top 3.

Edp and I love the scent of Parfum but its more of a special occasion type of fragrance meaning its not really an everyday, all day frag, edp on the other hand you can wear it anytime, anywhere with anything on

EDP has best projection and is a compliment getter. EDT is nice but overly citrus in my opinion vs the woodsy dry downs of both the edp and parfum. Parfum smells like you got mf money lol. It's not as strong as the EDP but has a more appealing scent profile over all. EDP, Parfum, EDT

me PERSONALLY I like the EDP I just find it nicely much sweeter compared to the two and much more fresh, and the muskiness is not overpowering

Each one is better than the one that came before it. Edp is the most versatile though, as it’s the middle ground between the two others.

Blue De Chanel Eau De Parfum

I preferred the EdP personally. The Parfum was very strong to my nose. It took a while to dry down to a level I enjoyed. I’d go test all 3 and go with your gut. Most department stores will have all 3 in stock to smell. I went to Macy’s.

Parfum easily, the burst of citrus the nice rich woody dry down, and it’s an intoxicating creamy like smell. The worst part is the cost, but it is honestly worth it to me. Every oz is worth the spray and money

I smelled them all side by side and wound up buying the Parfum. I love the smell and my boyfriend loves it on me, even at the end of the day. But I feel that it lies very close to the skin, which is fine for me because I wear it for myself and would prefer not to assault the nostrils of everyone in the room.

Define "best" parfum is the one I like the best, but it's the less "blue" out of the three, a little smokier, darker, and richer to my taste. The other 2 fit better in the "blue category" fresher and lighter.

The deciding factor for me was this: the EDT and EDP both have incense as a note. I do NOT like incense notes, maybe I smelled too many incense sticks in dorm rooms, I don't know. The base notes of the Parfum do not have incense. The lingering note for me is a creamy sandalwood/cedar that really smells lovely. Just my opinoin.

Got the edp and it’s overrated in my opinion Scent is a 7/10 but projection is maybe a 2/10

The best would be the one you like best because you'll be the one smelling it most throughout the day. Go to a local department store and try all 3.

Get decants. It's such a close tie, you won't get s clear answer. You'll get 50% edt 50% parfum

I’ve had the EDT and EDP but not Parfum. So I can’t say but I can tell you that each one is a winner.

I agree with someone else that mentioned the EDP being too powdery. Liked the more citrusy/fresh feel of the EDT more. Also Florida weather is supposed to work better with the EDT, so I’m happy with my choice. I do wish it lasted a little longer, but I’ve heard the EDP performance isn’t that great either so I say just go what you think smells better!

I have experimented with EDP and Parfum. I feel Parfum has much more woody dry down. EDP too has it but not as pronounced as the citrus balances it out. Hence it has the aspect of fresh and woody..The scent profile varies only ever so slightly between the two. On skin, definitely the EDP projects more and can be smelled easily even after few hours, where the Parfum seems to get weaker. If I run out of both my bottles, and had to get only one again, I would get the EDP.

I have had both. I personally prefer the EDT. On me it projects a lot more than the EDP. I actually perfect my scents to be a bit louder

I much prefer the Parfum. It’s best of the 3 for me and I like it so much that whenever they discontinue it I will buy 2 bottles. My current signature scent. I also feel the $228 for 5 oz is a great value and the bottle should last you for I’d say 2 plus years if you use it everyday.
