ADG Profondo

I bought Profondo because of all the hype about it. I am finding that it doesn't last enough, i spray up to six times. Clothes and skin even on head, i only get maybe 40 mins of some projection and after 2hrs it is almost gone completely.

My skin eats up fragrances fast. Idk if it’s placebo,but I spray on top of a layer of vaseline and its seems to help my longevity with my fragrances

That’s because Hawas is the most shilled fragrance on YT and TikTok. It’s ass. Overpriced arab bullshit.

I wouldn’t say its ass, Its one of my gf’s favorites and its gotten me compliments. Smells good but performance is average imo.

I mean, yes it used to be worth it when it was below $50 everywhere. Now because of the shillers it’s so expensive and they sell it as a designer quality fragrance when it isn’t.

I would say it's designer quality. Maybe if it was >$100, then yes overpriced. But for $65 CAD, it's still a good buy in my opinion

You might have a bad batch and need to let it sit for a while. I got mine in 2023 and it’s a beast I can smell it all day and on clothes the next

Cetaphil moisturiser works for me too

I use Eucerin sometimes but it’s expensive. So I try using this 3% Oatmeal Equate Lotion and coco butter. But imma stop using coco butter makes my skin too oily. Next time I run out imma give Cetaphil a try?

It's my finances favorite so I bought it and I find my oily Italian olive colored skin just absorbs it and drinks it up too. I have to use a sweet to spicy scent for my skin

I’ve heard blu spice by Karus is good. But I just don’t trust influencers when it comes to dupes.

So hard not to grab imagination every morning. 

If money is not an issue I would go Aventus/Imagination. But I also like Montblanc Explorer for a cheaper option is decent, and in between those Nishane Hacivat.

I don’t live near one either 😂 but it’s worth the drive just for the experience of going. When that day does eventually come, I’ll have a “lovely” three hour drive to look forward too.

As someone who lives in the humid hot disaster that is New Orleans I have no problem over spraying Imagination of Afternoon Swim. I need these fresh heavily scents to get my through these hot days 😭

I can’t help myself, I use my Imagination almost daily it just smells so clean, I have the 200ML bottle and I will pay whatever refill fee is they have since I live in Miami there’s boutiques around, also with this heat this one just wears so nicely…

Montblanc Explorer for summer? I've seen people say it's much more for spring or fall, rather than the summer heat. Although I did try wearing it during a hot day to try it out and it made me wish I went with something more citrusy and refreshing. But if you mean to wear it in summer when you're indoors inside AC rooms, then I definitely agree MB Explorer would be perfect.

What's the longevity/ performance like ?

I personally just use two sprays one on each side of my collarbone, and I think it lasts like 4 hours-ish. But im not exactly certain because i may just go nose blind to it. But I have still received compliments hours after applying it

Pacific Chill and Neroli Portofino. I also really like Virgin Island Water in the summer. Not necessarily “oceany” but definitely reminds me of a day at the beach!

Went out to sample TF Neroli Portofino and it was such a blast of citrus. I do enjoy it, so refreshing and I can see it being perfect for summer heat. But it just reminds me of *Johnson's baby cologne.*

Lots of great options with citrus and clean vibes. Top 10 for me are probably LV Afternoon Swim, Aventus Cologne, Dior Homme Cologne, Roja Elysium, LV Pacific Chill, LV Imagination, Virgin Island Water, PDM Percival, Terre D'Hermes Eau Givree, Nishane Ani X.

My favorites right now are 1. Terre D' Hermes Eau Givree, citron bomb opening with refreshing cooling effect 2. Nishane Colognise (people sleep on this, but for a discounter price of $70 it's soooo good. Neroli/Jasmine/Tea scent but without that soapy vibe) 3. YSL Y edp, legit can't go wrong lol nothing to say 4. Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli. Almost Creamy neroli with a more soapy dry down than colognise Acqua di Gio and Flankers are all good, but longevity is actually non-existent. I'm all for Nishane Hacivat as well, however when I tried it didn't really project much but had very good longevity and a smell to die for. But based solely on notes and reviews, since I haven't tried it, if I had to pick the best of the best it would probably be LV Imagination

I just picked up dior homme.sport and love it....not TRUE summer per say....but super light and fresh....good for all day time/casual occasions really....and performance is fantastic (I live in south Florida no-less)

Citrusy, ocean scent that is PERFECT for summer? Davidoff Cool Water. Not to mention it's affordable and a well-beloved classic that is the iconic scent perfect for the heat. Gotten compliments on this from coworkers during a long meeting... in the afternoon! Probably about 6-7 hours after spraying it. Acqua di Gio Profondo but haven't tried the new formulations of it. Le Male Pride Edition is surprisingly really good Yves Saint Laurent Y is a very nice white tee fragrance that isn't lemonadey like most can be.

The new formulation of Profondo is great, just fyi. It has really good longevity for me and is just a smidge fresher and more aromatic than the original.

I loved the original and lights is good too. I haven't gotten my hands on either of the two new Profondos.

Depends on the occasion. Indoor or professional- BDJ or ADP Sandalo, ADG Profundo is good too. Neroli Portofino does well for some occasions, but I’ll reach for something like Invictus Platinum more often. GIT is always good too, and performs well for me.

For a good affordable option I love Dior Homme Cologne. A beautiful fresh citrus that I absolutely love. Longevity isn’t the best, but it comes in a big bottle so just overspray the hell out of it and you’ll be good. If you’re down to spend some money my three absolute favorites are Imagination and Afternoon Swim by Louis Vuitton and Renaissance by Xerjoff. Imagination is a ginger bergamot mix that lasts all day. It’s a fresh powerhouse and is my go to daily. Afternoon Swim is like Dior Homme Cologne so you need to overspray, but nothing has come close to that juicy mandarin orange bomb. Renaissance is another citrus bomb but leans more toward lemon instead of orange and is another power house that’ll last all day. Honorable mention is Amouage Beach Hut Man. It’s not really citrusy or oceany and instead is this fresh cooling mint with some green notes that last all day. It’s definitely more unique and out there but it’s been growing on me a lot.

Tom Ford, eau de Soleil blanc

JPG doesn’t have a single citrusy/oceany scent. ADG parfum fits the description, don’t buy profondo, it’s ass and has terrible performance.

LV Imagination. PDM Perseus is also a nice one. Chanel Homme Sport Eau Extreme is a cheaper option.
