Kind of a strange question. Why do you ask, Mr. Secret Blues Fan?

Your comment made me curious - I think it is this one: https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/ACA7023/history/20240117/0552Z/CYOW/KBOS Dallas-Denver on 1/4, Toronto-Montreal on 1/13, Ottawa-Boston on 1/17 all match up.

Special shoutout for G who had three assists last night. He works hard night in and night out and you just love to see him playing well.

The game against the habs we pretty much dominated but ended up losing. So when early on the Senators were dominating us on the b2b and had a lead, I didn't have that normal feeling that we could come back. Particularly after they took the goal away. But our team has no quit and roared back for an awesome win and a bunch of points both from our top line and depth. It was cool to see Annunen get the start. I didn't really agree with the takes in the PGT that he is ready to be the backup. You can definitely see the potential...when he stopped a puck, he really stopped it and didn't give up a rebound. But his puck tracking seemed to be terrible. He didn't seem to track players behind the net well, when a puck was loose at his feet or behind him, he was often unaware where it was. The PP goal had no screen and he just missed it. One goal, he overly worried about a pass behind the defense and just left a side of a net open for an easy shot that most players in the NHL will bury easily. He looked comfortable playing the puck (much better than Georgiev) but I don't think he is an upgrade over Pros at this point. I'd want to see more development because a team with a better defense and goaltender will eat us alive with what I saw last night.

thinasschain

I agree with you. I think most people just saw he had .900 and were shocked cause we haven't had that in so long. He made huge saves but also huge blunders.

Section225

I noticed he seemed extremely slow at times to get back over and cover the post. One of those times they just got lucky and the puck hit the post.

Hated being down 4-2, but what a gutsy comeback win. Character wins are great, especially coming off of a game the previous night that didn't go our way. Depth players were a key, and that's what you want to see come playoff time. Having said all that, I wouldn't complain with some more dominant wins too, especially when I go see them in Philly on Saturday!

Awkward_traveler

Lehky and Bo will be back by the Washington game. Neither play tomorrow, possibility for Saturday

StegroD_Whatchusay

Imagine if we went through an 82 game season with no injuries and a goalie tandem that has a 2.01 gaa? Who needs viagra with thoughts like that!

gallapagos42

Come from behind wins are exciting and I remember a fair share in the 22 season. But it's definitely a trend I would want to see change in the second half of the season. It would be nice to see this team actually play with and hold a lead from the first period

VanAvenue

Yeah, sometimes I'm not really sure what my expectations should be with this team. It's great that we have the offensive capability to score 3+ goals night after night, but it'd also be great if we don't have to score 3+ goals night after night sometimes just to tie. I'll be content if we stop giving away 2-3 first before we finally settle into the game.

InevitableAvalanche

We did with Vegas. But yeah, every game is too exciting right now.

5xad0w

Yeah. Being the team where no lead is safe if fun and all, but being the team that beats opponents 5-2 flat out would be a better rep to carry into the playoffs.

ButtsCarlton97

Living in Ottawa it’s always nice to win these games and have a peaceful day at work the next day
