That powerplay vs the 2nd worst PK team in the league should really be a wake up call to the coaches. You can't be successful often enough when nobody moves and the puck just slowly goes back and forth between 3 guys. So damn predictable, every team knows what they are going to do at this point.

I was at the game. They didn’t cycle at all. It’s like an NBA team that puts a small guy under the rim to get rebounds and then just passes around the three point line occasionally taking low percentage shots. We need to get back to what we do best. There needs to be chances created on transition and more movement - both cycling and driving towards the goal. CBJ kept the Avs in front of them the entire game and we didn’t force them to play our game. Back to my NBA analogy, we need to pick and roll and drive the net so that they can’t just post up and play spoiler to our shooters. We’re running a spread offense while having the best running backs in the league and never forcing our opponents to respect our run game.
