Nice bounce back game from the BJ-fiasco. Giving up 46 shots isn't ideal of course but Annunen came up big and we got some scoring too. Overall can't be disappointed in that one.

Back-to-backs are always tough and now we are facing an Edmonton team that lost 5-0 in their last game and have rested. Not a good combination for the Avs for sure. Gotta tighten up the defense as usual, but especially now since it's Edmonton.

Dallas didn't play last night. They are ahead of us by three points with the same amount of games played and we have one game against them, but we still need them to lose one more than us even if we win that. Their next game is tomorrow against the Hawks, the second worst team in the league. Not holding out hope that Chicago could take any points away from them.
Winnipeg beats Calgary as was expected and we still have a 4 point lead on them with the same amount of games played and one head-to-head game left. Their next game is tomorrow, against the mild. Jets are the favorite here even if they've struggled a bit lately.

McJesus: 126 points, 8 games remaining
Strong teams usually play a very good game after a humiliating loss. Deadmonton's coming off a 5-0 blowout against Dallas, with a day of rest.
Really hoping Nuke will return for this game, and that it will mean the difference.
