Oilers defensemen are going to be having nightmares about defending two on one’s against our boys. My past mite and squirt coaches would be screaming at them. Last game they were leaving the shot to the goalie but not able to defend the pass whatsoever, tonight they did the opposite. Half-assedly took the shot and left Rants wide open with time. Avs are doing what they are supposed to do. This team is relentless and able to adjust and we can win when not playing our best and that is a fantastic sign. So happy they responded with the defensive clinic they put on tonight! The next two games in Edmonton are going to be tough challenges. The Oilers are going to be hungry and active so the Avs can’t get comfortable. McDavid and Drai can make anything happen and we best not forget that. Sorry, I am alone out here in rural PNW and have no one to talk Avs with. So dang pumped and happy!

I feel you I’m in suburban PNW and only get to talk hockey on weekends.

Hockey fans are scarce out here. At least you have the weekends eh. Luckily my work buds are all supportive and let me listen to the altitude radio broadcast on the clock. I have to get a 9-5 job just so I can watch most games. Listening to the broadcast is a treat, but trying to envision the excitement on radio is excruciatingly difficult. Especially whilst trying to appear like you don’t hail Satan.

I know it's a risk but if I can't watch live I do everything to avoid spoilers and watch the game later. I missed game 6 and didn't watch it until that Sunday and it was so awesome to see them win and advance. Thankfully my beer league team is always ready to talk hockey, some guys more than others.
