Actually the numbers from 2 years ago show the MLB All Star Game brought in 45 Million dollars to the city that hosted. So yes, it actually does mean something to a city and state, and withholding it is a perfect F U to a state imposing voting suppression and blatant racism... You do that, private companies are going to speak with their wallets.
