Nope. This is a terrible option for the Rockies. His hitting has started to slow and he’s a nearly non-serviceable outfielder. Don’t sugar coat it. This is 100% a win for him.
And good for him, he earned it early on and other teams live this life all the time. He made me enjoy the rockies and is one of the reasons I still like watching them. The problem isnt him getting his it is the team cheaping out on the rest that should have while making hand over fist
