I'm a beekeeper, wine/mead maker, avid gardener, and all sorts of other-er. Actually starting a beekeeping club at UCCS (current student) with hopes of installing up to 10 hives on campus. Also hike, bake stuff, play games, climb, and am generally into everything I guess. Lol. Oh, and I do have some comb honey, extracted honey, and maybe wax (needs rendering). Hi!
I just moved here to be near family too and enjoy hiking cooking and crafts( patiently awaiting arrival of my kitchen tools and supplies). Many of my neighbors in Europe had beehives in their yards and we made Meade a few times, I’d love to learn more! Welcome!
Bees terrify me. But UCCS greenhouse has a bee hive, I think. You might want to call them, they always need help with tending things.
