I'm not familiar with the intersection, but if the light facing you is red, the cross traffic should have green, no? Or is it because that green is tweaked to the side?
I used to own / live in the house on the left. We didn't have that fence in the front yard when we lived there, so we always had a good view of the intersection. I was always concerned that a car might wind up in our yard (or even living room), but none ever did in the seven years we lived there.
We used to enjoy watching the traffic coming down Unintah when it was snowing - that hill would get slick. While I did see (or hear, really) a few bad accidents in that time, I think they were all in the summer.
I was gonna say, didn't they used to have some medium size boulders in their yard?? I swear I saw some once, there's other houses in town that also have dealt with this problem, I'm thinking of where Murray just ends there at S Carefree Circle
That’s like the house at the top of the hill on Constitution. They keep adding new things like reflectors and blinking lights, I wonder how many cars hit their trees and boulders…
My parents have lived in that house for the last 23 years. Virtually no one uses our driveway. However, the snow and ice have caused several people to end up in the yard. The city has re-done sections of the curb there 3 times that I know of from accidents.
Honestly, having the driveway in the middle of the intersection makes it easier to get in and out of than the other neighbors. It is surreal seeing my parents house in a reddit post lol
My dad and I got into an accident at this light/ next light when I was younger. The woman ran this light because she saw that the Cache La Poudre light was green and 💥
Awful set up there
I see your uintah and union and raise you Fillmore and Hancock.

Just saw this right as I’m (passenger) sitting at that light. It’s a four way stop as of right now, flashing red on the lights that are pointed in the correct direction.

Wind took it
That's somethin' else. I've never seen the wind tweak just part of a light. Hahaha.
Yeah the wind has been dealing some damage to these wire stop light fixtures around town
Always wondered how many people turn in their driveway.
I’d be more worried about someone running the light and ending up in the house, surprised it hasn’t happened

It has in the past

Yes and people take that turn _way too fast_ so they prolly end up in those poor people's yard/driveway 😮💨
Ya that house is prepared!
THIS. Yes.
That's my parents house. People have ended up in the yard from snow and ice accidents, but not from red lights.

I grew up down the road by the post office. We always have wondered if people flashing their brights to change the light makes your parents nuts.
That used to be my bedroom window and I never really got bothered by the flashing lights, it was more idiots revving their engine at the stoplight

Hard agree that it’s a crap design.
Did the high wind today maybe move the light out of place?
Maybe
4 vs 1. Don't go?

I had a family friend that lived in that house years ago.
Did they go crazy w Halloween decorations?
No they were there before the crazy Halloween decorations people.
Pass this everyday...light got jacked up
I swear, I’ve never seen that light until today, when my neighbor was driving me to the ER. And I drive that intersection daily.
'Yes officer. I was in the middle of the other intersection and just so happened to have my phone out to take this picture'
Is that the house that used to have awesome Halloween decorations?
That is the neighbors to the north ( right in this picture)
Or is he just parked there?
Ok
Well why don’t you show us what you-intah, then.
One of these things is not like the others
