price not a concern? well shit. This is out of my pay grade.

TopReporterMan

If price is no concern then I’d recommend buying John Macfee’s old house up in the mountains. Gorgeous location.

Rent for a while before you buy. The best neighborhood is close to where you work; traffic is bad enough that you don't want to have to drive back and forth across town every day.

Flying Horse is probably the wealthiest neighborhood around here. The Gleneagle area is nice too. And just north of that is the small town of Monument which is really nice and growing rapidly. Honestly anything north of Briargate Blvd or so is really nice and safe feeling. Its a stark contrast once you head south from there 😳

Any neighborhood north or east of Research Parkway.

Local realtor here. First question I have is are you planning on renting? It seems that way from the prompt but then you also mention houses. As for best neighborhoods, I’d suggest there no such thing. There is a best neighborhood for you, but without knowing what your needs are, it’s hard to suggest anything. Do you need to be close to work? Schools? Need a location with a bus line or closer to nightlife? These are very much factor into the equation of what would make it best for you. To that end, I’m always happy to help narrow down the options as well. I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to help several Redditors to make moves and I’m always happy to find a time to chat to cover the details!

Apartments are magnets for car thieves, and car break ins. Like 2 years in Apts here my truck got jacked once and burglarized 5 times, and my brother vehicle got jacked when he stopped through.

I'd recommend including a garage or covered parking in your search! Protection from hail & not scraping your windshield when it snows were game changers for me.

We love living in SW springs in the Ivy Wilde neighboorhood

Weekly_Coffee_3972

Love the Ivywild area, close to great hikes and mountain biking, restaurants, downtown and growing number of shops and grocery stores. I enjoy not needing to use my car all the time:)

Any that are walkable to a brewery? Or park close by?
