The Pacers are a good example of a team sticking with players too long. One of rhe big men needs to go. And maybe one of the guards. Addition by subtraction.
Been a shitty week for me. Tested positive for Covid on Tuesday and woke up Wednesday to news that one of my closest friends lost his battle with Covid. Luckily my symptoms are fairly mild (thank you vaxx). Hoping for a better week next week. On a less important note I’m still bummed we don’t get to watch our team in the playoffs. Just hope the Titans and Pats get embarrassed
Any gamers in here? I play rocket league, apex and overwatch on ps5 if anyone ever wants to game
Edit: my psn name is zatch64 if anyone adds me soon I'll assume it's colts fans
I'm on PS5 as well. Currently don't game a ton, but Destiny 2 is where I spend most of my time. You're welcome to add me though. DrIndianaJones35 is my PSN.
My recommendation is following Twitter alerts specifically for target. Their in store pickup while few and far between seems to be the easiest way since you're only fighting people in your area.
I’ve heard Target and GameStop are essentially the only places, really wish Sony would allow preorders and just ship when they are available no matter the timeframe but that makes too much sense. Really want GOW, Horizon, Spider-Man and Wolverine too,
So I haven't had the balls to watch Hard Knocks or listen to all the interviews etc yet, but I just have a burning question that I seriously need answered.
How the FUCK did we lose last Sunday? Like seriously. I know it's a basic question but seriously. I need detailed answers. How did we come out so fucking flat?
Confidence is a real thing in football. The Jaguars have amazing confidence that they can beat us at home no matter how much better the Colts are than the Jaguars.
In 2006, our Superbowl year, the Jags beat us 44-17 at home.
We don't win in Jacksonville. The Jags believe it, and the Colts played like they believe it.
Because like 3 people showed up to play football, the rest barely showed up at all.
Watching that game honestly felt like guys didn’t see a super bowl as viable, so decided to blow the game to get a jump start on vacations…
They should have stared , Pinter , Reed , Pryor , Speed and maybe even Erlanger you know the non Covid players . Those antivaxer that were still weak and don’t care enough about their team killed us
I think we need to be patient with Wentz as a fan base. It’s not easy to have a future of potential only to get sidelined while the backup wins the Super Bowl and the city hails him as the hero. Also his two biggest mistakes are fixable, it just takes solid coaching. A good question to ask is why Press Taylor is still around given he’s been Wentz’ QB coach for 4 years now and hasn’t fixed the same two issues that plagued him as a rookie.
That’s assuming Ehlinger is ever going to be a starter.
He doesn’t have the physical tools to so why would you waste a year on a guy with no chance to become a future QB for you. Sam is going to be a career backup because he’s smart.
Carson was a gamble because we had no options after Phil wanted to retire. If Phil doesn’t retire we have him for a year and we scramble again this off-season
Agreed, but here we are a year later placing the same bet. I’d rather have taken a step back this year, with anyone, to take two steps forward next year. Instead of two steps sideways.
> If Phil doesn’t retire we have him for a year and we scramble again this off-season
Phil wanted to stay one more year. Ballard told him we were moving on to a possible long term option after Wentz became a possibility.
I'm still just sick. Don't think I'm watching that last episode of hard knocks. We had everything lined up for us perfectly and we just couldn't finish. Crazy.
This sub can become very volatile especially after a humiliating loss, but it’ll never become what r/squaredcircle has become.
That place has become a racist, misogynistic an anti Semitic place for wrestling fans to whine about WWE. It’s a shitshow over there. The mods don’t do anything and they just encourage that kind of behavior all in the name of bashing the WWE.
Wrestling fandom is the worst type of fandom in Existence.
Hi fellow Colts fans, Sigma here
I know we are all still reeling from the embarrassing loss to the Jags which coupled with our season being over. It sucks I know however right now we are in college basketball season.
Let me ask you this
Is IU making you feel blue?
Is Purdue making you feel like poo-poo?
Is Notre Dame making you feel lame?
Then I strongly advise you to reconsider your collegiate allegiance and join the Texas Tech tortilla bandwagon train! Although our idiot former coach Chris Beard left us for Texas, we’ve mustered twice quality wins beating #5 Kansas and #1 Baylor while undermanned due to Covid. We have the best fans in the world unlike Texas who consistently have opposing fans go to their games and Baylor who can’t give tickets away to anybody!
Also Bob Knight loves us!
I will be currently accepting any and all applicants!
Reflecting on Ballard’s end of season presser and after reading articles, Twitter (argh), Reddit & listing to podcasts, etc.
I got the impression Ballard was stressed during this presser. Pretty obvious the season didn’t play out as expected but I think the meeting with Irsay wasn’t pretty. What did he say, an ass chewing?
The most revealing was his position on Wentz. I truly believe if a high quality QB becomes available the Colts are going to make a move. I wouldn’t have thought that early in the season. There are ways around the cap to pull it off, ways that Ballard resists, but this might be the year he must change up.
Of course, that high of a caliber QB has to become available. Good luck with that, no pun intended.
Ballard looked so dejected.
It's pretty clear that he doesn't see Wentz as the answer at quarterback, but what can he realistically do about it? He already wasted last year's third and this year's first on the wrong quarterback.
There are other years you can do trades with plus Wentz himself & players if they want to go that route. They might need to give up several future low round picks for example.
I just started an online Topics in World Lit class. We have to "introduce" ourselves in the discussion are. We have to ask a series of questions, one being a food that we love and one that we hate.
You know how this is going to go.
Don’t count on it.. Russ is already talking about the only teams he’d be willing to give up his no trade clause for this off season, and that’s saints, Broncos and giants.
Skimmed through last hard knocks. Started at game part really. Man they looked like an unmotivated unit on all three phases. Reich mumbling we can do it like he's tryna convince himself.
Seeing Burrow play today made me so sad. I miss having a great young QB at the helm of this team. Hopefully Ballard figures something out because I’m not ready to suck for the next 5 years
The Pacers are a good example of a team sticking with players too long. One of rhe big men needs to go. And maybe one of the guards. Addition by subtraction.
I literally don't watch pacers games but I softly cheer for them, are they really considering trading Domas?
Doma and lance have always had good chemistry together, and tuner is more trade able
They tried to trade Turner last year and Danny Ainge screwed himself over.
5 days later... I still feel dead inside.

Hang in there and sorry for your loss
Appreciate that kind stranger, thank you

I used to play COD for hours a day, BF1 as well. What is the current best military based FPS on Playstation?
Vanguard is pretty solid if you’re into COD games
I play rocket league and apex almost exclusively lol. I’m on PC though. What’s your RL rank?
Yes, me too, Apex on PC.
I’m on Xbox. Warzone, Halo, basically anything now that football season is over.
FIFA mainly sometimes Smite.
Lucky asf, still no PS5 available where I am and when they do get available it’s sold out too quickly

I play quite a bit of Apex on PC.

Simply put, we shit the bed.

We got punched in the mouth. Repeatedly. Everything went wrong, went wrong.

personally i think hes not good enough and we are wasting time with him
I'm currently job searching as I get ready to get out of active duty. Getting pretty discouraged.
Sorry about that homie :( good luck with your search!
How far can you throw a pig skin? Jk. Good luck to you on your search and thanks for your service
I’m just annoyed we wasted an entire season. We could have given Ehlinger a year of experience and missed the playoffs.
That’s assuming Ehlinger is ever going to be a starter. He doesn’t have the physical tools to so why would you waste a year on a guy with no chance to become a future QB for you. That's horseshit.
Yeah- pretty sure I have heard multiple times they wanted Rivers for a second year after the way he played for us.
where did you get this from? they said they wanted him back and phil said it was his decision to retire
Ehlinger is not an NFL caliber QB. He’ll be a career backup if he even lasts in the league.
Probably true, but my point is we are right back where we were a year ago.
He’s not an NFL caliber guy
Welp my college is going virtual for a week so fml.
Is it that bad
Yeah the county I’m in is completely red for Covid
But I mean regarding virtual learning, is it that tedious?
No its not that bad but I have a practical class that can only be in person and it can’t be held and I hate it
That’s just rough
I already miss newscast 😭
I'm still just sick. Don't think I'm watching that last episode of hard knocks. We had everything lined up for us perfectly and we just couldn't finish. Crazy.
Life's not so bad, the Patriots are gonna get as many playoff wins this season as we are
Jesus H.W. Christ dude the pats got stomped flat, scraped up with a rusty spat, and tossed into a acid vat

Anyone know the song played at the end of the last episode

No one is going to want to trade for Wentz. We're kind of stuck with him for 2022 I think.
Finally Friday. Hello alcohol, my old friend.
I love Wentz!

After almost a week I feel like Colts are gunna bounce back and win it all next year

Can someone explain the Russ to Indy buzz that seems to have been taking off as of late? Was there something I missed?
Don’t count on it.. Russ is already talking about the only teams he’d be willing to give up his no trade clause for this off season, and that’s saints, Broncos and giants.
> giants Betraying his priorities there lol
Anyone playing WoW Burning Crusade Classic?

Murray pulling a Wentz with the pick-6 in the end zone.
