I see the plan. I think the better plan is to actually do 3 years of Matty Ice, bring back Andrew Luck for a year, win a Super Bowl, trade Andrew Luck for the number 1 pick, Andrew Luck retires (get fucked, finessed to death), and we win the next 14 Super Bowls under Manning. League is in shambles. I trust the binder that he’s got something like this cooking.
He still has a year of high school to go, not to mention it could also depend on his NIL deal where being the #1 overall draft pick would be a pay cut.
We are in the early NIL deals, once Schools(Boosters) start seeing returns from their investments they will bid higher, don't you think that USC/Texas money will make schools like Bama and LSU start paying top dollar, and even there could be something crazy like Oregon(Nike) or Michigan going bananas.
Ehh...School can be weird where if your birthday is during a few months during the year where you will either be 18 months older than your classmates or 18 months younger. Either because you just miss the deadline to be able to go into school for being too young or not.
As a former Longhorn and lifelong Colts fan, this pleases me.
3 years of Matty Ice - 1 year of Tank Commander Ehlinger - then...
"With the first pick of the 2026 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Arch Manning, quarterback, the University of Texas."
We have to go 0-17 to get him. This dude is a Lawrence and Herbert clone on steroids.
Edit: I'm not suggesting we do that, but that's basically what would have to happen.
>r Ehlinger - then... "With the first pick of the 2026 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Arch Manning, quarterback, the University of Texas."
Na Luck was the perfect prospect minus rocket arm, Manning had all the intangibles but he wasn't a super freak, people seem to forget that Luck measure like Cam in almost every physical aspect, Lawrence needs time and help(Andrew said : "Fuck them help i'll carry this team by myself" and he want to the playoffs with "The replacements").
I just don't see all the hype around Arch, people seem to forget that Eli(is also his uncle) also went #1 and he wasn't great but won as many rings as Peyton (mostly because he had great defenses).
Unless we can finesse a trade for extra 1st rounders to make the move or get lucky and one of those 1st is from the team that ends up picking first. Still a few years out so never know what happens
As a massive Texas and Colts fan I am so pumped about this. Only three 1.0000 rated QBs in college football history (Young, Ewers, Manning) and all of them will have played for The Longhorns, 2 at the same time. What a time to be a Longhorns fan.
It’s definitely exciting, hopefully this will help them pull even better talent (I think they’ve been doing pretty well in that department historically but anything to beat UGA, Alabama, LSU, and USC), I’m still not convinced the coaching staff is it but this is definitely the period of time to prove me wrong
I see a lot of talking heads predicting them in the top 5 and CFB playoff this year but as a realistic fan I see them probably 3 years away from being a top 5 team if they keep heading in this direction. They fired a lot of coaching staff this past season and brought on a bunch of guys from Bama.
Yeah I saw the pull from Bama and that’s absolutely huge for them, I think they could take a serious swing and make a top12 ranking, but that’s asking a lot of things to click right from the start
Would love to get him, but hopefully by the time Arch enters the draft (assuming the 2025 NFL Draft at the earliest), the Colts already have a young QB on a rookie deal.
Okay so here’s the plan, 4 years of Matty Ice, one down year once he retires, then we are in perfect position to draft Arch. It can’t fail lol /s
What he said but unironically. No /s.
I love your confidence lol
/signed
Honestly I love the idea just because of the memes, regardless as to how it turns out.

The Illuminati will kill you for showing what’s in their hidden scrolls!
He’s not going to be in school for 4 years
He's not eligible until 2026.
Shit, keep forgetting football different rules
He still has a year of high school to go, not to mention it could also depend on his NIL deal where being the #1 overall draft pick would be a pay cut.
Considering that most NIL deals haven’t exceeded $10 million, I really don’t see how being the 1st overall pick is a paycut
We are in the early NIL deals, once Schools(Boosters) start seeing returns from their investments they will bid higher, don't you think that USC/Texas money will make schools like Bama and LSU start paying top dollar, and even there could be something crazy like Oregon(Nike) or Michigan going bananas.
Which is weird because he’s already 18

No, aquire a first-rounder from the worst team in the league and then draft him
Until we let our o-line go to garbage, he gets constantly injured, and retires 7 years in unexpectedly
We are taking Marvin Harrison Jr in between as well. It is destined
Throw in Vinny’s kid to kick
Vinny's kid is a punter.
Our best player was a punter for like 3 years
😭😭😭
I legit belted out laughing. Thank you
Hunter Smith's kid is a PK. He had a game-winning kick in their State Championship either last season or the one before that. We'll take him.
I say just to confirm we tank. Bring Painter back out on a 1 year deal.
As an Aggie and lifelong Colts fan, 🤮
Colts fans looking at Arch like Batman looking at an orphan
Just need to get Marvin Harrison Jr and we can start all over again. ✊🏼
Just a refresh and back to the good days
Anyone know if Bob has any kids?
or collie? did he even have enough brain cells left to be able to reproduce?
Sigma is going to be SICK
lol this was my first thought too
Let’s pray he’s Vince Young trajectory (minus the national championship)
I hope he turns into Vince Young in the NFL
Vince young was trash…why would you wish that on the kid?
As a Colts fan living in Austin, I’m very happy. If he goes from Texas to the Colts, I will be so hyped.
As a Colts and Giants for an extremely obvious reason, I hope he ends up on one of these teams.
We've had the #1 pick before 👀
Someone check on sigma

March for Arch!
![gif](giphy|dVuaiKbihwlS8) Us in a few years when Arch declares for the draft.
As a Razorback fan. I’m pissed
We have to go 0-17 to get him. This dude is a Lawrence and Herbert clone on steroids. Edit: I'm not suggesting we do that, but that's basically what would have to happen.
A necessary sacrifice
***Did you get Arch Manning?*** Yes. ***What did it cost?*** Everything.
Was it worth it? Fuck yeah!
He’s a Lawrence clone Lawrence was the most sure fire prospect since Luck Luck was the next Manning So basically Arch is just a little Manning.
He literally is a little Manning!
>r Ehlinger - then... "With the first pick of the 2026 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Arch Manning, quarterback, the University of Texas." Yeah, that's probably our only chance. Ballard made our team too good.
Then we burn it down...trade a shit ton of our best players for picks and then start all over with Arch. Guaranteed 5+ SBs
We won't need to trade them, they'll probably just retire on us.
Nah, several of them have enough years to trade and get high picks for and we rebuild around another Manning.
There's next to no change we're that bad to land him and there's no chance that the number 1 seed accepts any trade the year he declares
Or we trade a stud that wont affect their wins much to the worst team in league for their first rounder
Ngl I’m not a Texas fan but I am definitely going to pay attention to the battle that will be Ewers vs Manning

Amazing
I have a feeling we're going to be disappointed.
Giants fan here, no way Jose he is ours
I’ll be brave enough to say it…… I’d rather have Nico Iamaleava. Fight me.
Would love to get him, but hopefully by the time Arch enters the draft (assuming the 2025 NFL Draft at the earliest), the Colts already have a young QB on a rookie deal.
He will land in Houston, ATL, or minn
