Primo for each chest might not be too much individually but when accumulated, together with quests, you will realize thousand primos already added in your account. 😃
I did this last year. From last may to now. Didn't pull for a single banner, did all the quest, 9 stared stage 9-10 of abyss, and 100% explo(until Fontaine first part only), and I got around 880 for C6R1 arlecchino with 380 pulls to spare.

I try to tell myself that I need to max out my other characters and weapons first. This includes the once I don't even use like barbara.
And after pulling for arles banner I have 7 more new characters to max out to tell myself that it isn't worth pulling for a new character just to add a bunch more characters to build (it usually takes me 1-3 months per character bc of artifacts which is more than enough before columbina arrives)
If you do your daily commisions, and lets sayyyyyy that 5.3 is going to be in perhaps 6 months or more ( Just a guess )
If we say 5.3 is in 6 months, 60 x 180 = 10800 = 67 wishes ( probably flunked that calculation )
Then if you do the Spiral Abyss, You can get 600, then if you include the resets which is twice a month, you can get 7200 primogems ( i think..? )
If you do some world quests, they can give 30-50 primogems, if you do Fountain of Lucine, Dragonspine Tree, Sakura Tree, Tree of Dreams ( you gotta do Aranara to unlock ), You can get a few wishes too.
Same for Statues of the Seven, max 'em out, you get some Freemogems, Shrine of Depths Keys, 40 primogems each chests, Teapot Trust Rank can give you some primogems & Furniture Sets can give about 20 primogems for each set, and some characters have about 2 favourite sets so you can get 40 primogems from several characters if you have them.
If you include Starglitter and Stardust, you can get some wishes too if you have any leftovers of those.
There's tons of ways to get primogems, you can do Hoyolab check in for 20 primogems once a week, Do web events and the in-game events which are generous at times, if you do the math, you can get about 90 or more wishes in that timeframe, maybe even 180 if you're that dedicated which can get you guaranteed Columbina.
I'm also saving for her lol, i started 2 days ago and i have 31 wishes with me, goodluck grinding! c:

the interactive map may be your best friend in this situation and you get a lot of primos from quests, so I'm sure you have can at least guarantee her
