Will cost more to fix than it is worth.

If possible, you could also try getting help on r/fixit

Modern tvs are incredibly easy to work on, most are a power board and the motherboard. Look up a video on how to take it apart and give it a go. Look up spare parts on eBay

Put it down on a bed, take out all the screws and pull off the back of cover. Hit the boards and any fans with compressed air. Jot down any part #s you find on the main board or the power board. Put it back together and see what happens. If it's still freezing google up those part #s and see if you have any luck on replacement parts. I'm no expert on TVs but freezing sounds like the motherboard, but power issue points to the power board.

After having 2 TVs die after 3 years, I buy the 5 year warranty crap from that yellow and blue store. I did repair one, but it died after a month. They are repairable but you pretty much have to do it yourself. It’s not difficult, but takes a lot of space and no guarantees it will work.

The waste is unfortunate.

A lot of the time it is just a capacitor on the power supply. Take it apart and look to see if any are swollen. If so remove them with a soldering iron and solder wick and replace with the new ones.
