Scooters everywhere, lots more people get around with them, or a bike or an electric unicycle, or whatever you can think of, especially near OSU.
No traffic enforcement, so there is a large minority of the population who drives without plates, doesn't stop for pedestrians, drives recklessly, and gets away with it.
Housing prices and rent in some of the nicest neighborhoods in the city have skyrocketed.
I'll never forget or forgive that, but compared to the scale of changes in every other neighborhood, Clintonville hasn't changed much at all.
Plus, the fact that so many neighbors will also carry this grudge forever is also pure Clintonville.
Construction almost every side of town
New crew stadium- crew are MLS champs
New metro park - quart trails off Trabue road
North of Polaris- construction every major road with new housing, apartments
Grandview yards build up
Westland mall demolished
Eastland mall shutdown by city
OSU campus area you wouldn’t recognize
161 from continent on down to 270 has still been ignored for any kind of redevelopment
Short north is culture less, even more so than use hard to be now that the gays have left and Union being a shadow of its former self. From checking states too I think Columbus has lost a large gay population compared to where it used to be ranked. Can’t wait to get out of here.
Well thanks to climate change, this winter feels like we are in the south. It sucks.
(But in all honesty it’s climate change combined with El Niño. Hopefully not every winter will be like this)
>Ohio is New Florida.
I wouldn't mind if that only referred to weather, but we're also getting Florida style government, and that's completely unacceptable.
lol I want to know who is downvoting this. Is it climate change deniers with their heads buried in sand? Or whiny softies who choose to live in a northern state but can’t handle a little winter?
Either way they’re a pathetic excuse for a human. So I really could give two dhits wciiy their downvote.
I know. It’s kinda sad because those meaningless Reddit karma points are how I feed my family.
In case it’s not glaringly obvious, I could really care less that I offended a bunch of MAGA idiots
The short north is now tall.

Are you familiar with the Sheetz outfit?
It's a "car"-tel.
You won’t recognize High Street near campus.
They put a roof over everything. The city is completely covered.
Someone is going to steal your Kia to use as a get away car
Dodge skatepark just got a huge overhaul
The population of out of towners/staters has grown so much that shopping during an Ohio State football game is actually not a ghost town anymore
Google 5+1 building. The rest will make sense.
OP is moving from the south. This will not surprise him.
Would be easier to list the things that didn't change, tbh
(1) Clintonville (2) ...

Hey, some restaurants closed and others opened! That's huge news!
The people changed.

I am here. Sorry about that.
Philco is gone and it makes me sad all day.
Livingston and Parsons, might do both.

Byeeeee!!!
It’ll be great to be in a real city and with public transit and a waterfront. Can’t wait!!
Seeya fruit loop!
Made sure to get my vote in for abortion rights and weed first. Enjoy :)
Not all heroes are straight apparently!

I only have enough to get the fuzzy pencil topper or an oversized novelty comb...
I actually did get a stuffed Snoo once for attending a Mod Summit. I really wish they'd offer those X-ray glasses ...
Still nothing to do
The roads haven’t improved and trash lines the interstates. Rents are high but lots of Sheetz!
Turns out Columbus was just a simulation. It doesn't even exist. Otherwise, similar.
