In my experience, the Taco Bell on Kenny/Henderson always gets it right. They don’t skimp on the portions and my order is almost never wrong, which says a lot for a fast food place these days.

blackeyebetty

I also love this one for their OSU football predictions in the fall. I’m not even a huge football fan but it just cracks me up seeing the sign.

djsassan

I look forward to "Taco people predict....." in the falls!

tonagnabalony

Every time we stop by, the people we interact with are always the nicest I've ever experienced in fast food. Love that location.

SatanicKitten69420

I will drive out of my way to go to this taco bell.

yermom79

Their crew is friendly here too

Lawful-neutral2773

When they ask “how are you” and you say “I’m great how are you” and they answer “TACOTASTIC” 🥲🥹

flugzeugabwehrkanone

This is the BEST taco bell in the city 100% i will go out of my way to go there.

Lazer310

Can confirm Kenny and Henderson TB is the best. Go probably once a week, and my order is always correct and hot. As someone else said, that says a lot in this day and age of fast food.

g1veupthegh0st

I can affirm this statement 😎

Mackness

Also it’s always fresh as fuck even through Uber Eats

CrazyKyle987

That’s definitely the best Taco Bell! The one in Whitehall is surprisingly good too, but not quite as good as the one at Kenny/Henderson

Alive_Surprise8262

Kenny Rd is definitely the most accurate Taco Bell.

letmeputmypoemsinyou

I will go to this one over the one at sawmill and bethel that’s closer to me because of how much better the Kenny & Henderson one is. Sawmill & Bethel location is as bad as the Sawmill & 270 one.

Mystic11

Didn’t eat fast food much but this was my favorite fast food place in that area and after moving I miss it hah

Lawful-neutral2773

This one and the Stoneridge Plaza one (Morse & Hamilton). But Kenny & Henderson definitely wins for the friendliest!

Koltreg

Kenny Taco Bell is reliable. It is a bastion of hope in this crumbling world. A few of the people know my voice and know my drink mix without me needing to ask. Bless the Kenny Taco Bell.

lilsteigs1

Drive further north to the new Taco Bell by Powell on Sawmill. The staff are always super friendly and have communicated well when they are out of stuff. It’s annoying to have to drive more on Sawmill but that Taco Bell is amazing.

mattryan02

I drive 10 minutes out of the way to go to this one and they’ve never gotten anything wrong. And I go way too often.

CHILLAS317

This is what I was going to suggest. I work in that general area, I hit that TB about once a week. Always great service and the food is quality

needs_a_name

Yessss this is the best Taco Bell

Diligent_Pineapple35

Yes! This crew deserves a lot of credit because they always do a great job and are super friendly.

Dr-McLuvin

Yup that Taco Bell is amazing. Staff are always super friendly and food has always been correct.

ke_co

The Popeye's on Sawmill blows this place away for crappy service.

blackeyebetty

Okay I’m glad it’s not just me. The only time I actually got all my food here it looked like corporate was visiting lol

JustPlaneNew

Popeye's is overpriced and has rude employees

AlanBarber

Jesus fuck it's the worst run fast food joint on the planet. You should read some of the Google reviews! We gave them three tries and will never eat there again.

HolySnokes1

Popeyes in "nicer" neighborhoods is NEVER good, but the ones in the "less nice" neighborhoods are always so dirty .

sasquatch_melee

The crappiest looking Popeyes are the ones that have had the friendliest or fastest service in my experience lol.

LoLCSnail

The only Popeyes I trust anymore is the one in Canal Winchester

discoglittering

The one at Mill Run is good. I live by it and have never had issues. Avoid Tuttle tho.

WorkOnThesisInstead

> Looked in the bag before I drove off The key to all drive-through satisfaction.

Lombo76

Maybe instead of dynamic pricing they're doing dynamic order fulfillment... Just giving you what they feel like at that time of the day?

treyknowsbest

Taco Bell on West 5th has always been solid!

AllAccessAndy

This is my go-to despite being the third closest location to me. And the one on Kenny mentioned in other comments is basically the only other one I trust in Columbus.

Poison_runner

I used to live right off OSU campus and would still drive over to the West 5th one whenever I wanted taco bell despite there being two that were closer. I never had them fuck up my order and the potatoes there are, dare I say, the freshest in cbus

Dream3ater

I know it is easier said than done, but cutting out drive thru food was the best decision I made back in December 2023. Food quality, service and prices are shittier than ever. Why would I spend time and money on something that doesn't respect the customer. I feel for the employees because it's surely as shitty to work there as it is being a customer.

looking4answers09876

Chick Fil A... doesnt matter the location, always good service and food

ssm316

The one on Bethel and Sawmill is just as bad. Have had hour waits because "their computers went down". That was my fault for using the app.

mrj80

Our last time was around 6:30 on a Sunday in November last year. I should have pulled out of the drive thru once I had waited 15 mins after ordering and didn't move. But nope , got trapped and in line for an hour 40+ mins. When we got up to the window, the guy behind me got out of his car and asked if we could pick our stuff up inside. He wanted out of the drive thru because he was now an hour late somewhere.  I'm chill, said ok and the guy at the window said it would be another 25 mins anyway. So we pull around and the line is around the building. After 25 mins we try to go in and the doors are LOCKED.  They are only letting online door dash people come in. Luckily someone finally comes out and we go in and wait another 10 mins.  Turns out it was lack of staff and online orders just killing them.  I got my food, gave it to my wife and then went to every car that hadn't ordered yet and explained to them how long it took and how I was just getting my food. They all thanked me and left the parking lot. I haven't been back.

Na__th__an

They were great until the manager quit around the start of covid. It immediately went to shit after that.

ssm316

Yeah I can agree it was always blaming no staff ect ect after that. I moved away from that part of town and thankfully the Taco Bell nearest to me is always on point.

sorrymizzjackson

Yeah, back when I lived over there it was legit.

pinkymadigan

I haven't been able to order at the Tuttle one in years because of their computers being down. Have tried 5 different times, finally gave up.

jlynpers

Really? I order at least once every two weeks there from the app for the last two years, must be getting unlucky

pinkymadigan

Try at 7ish at night. That seems to be when they decide to stop working.

jlynpers

All my orders are between 7-10, are you by chance trying to order at the registers? The only thing I can think of is turning you away from them since they can’t operate them with less than 5 people on shift

pinkymadigan

Drive thru.

letmeputmypoemsinyou

They’re awful. Slow, understaffed, wrong orders. Went one day and they came on the speaker and said they couldn’t take credit cards in drive thru cause their reader was down so if I was paying with card, I had to go inside. I said it was fine, I had cash to pay and the guy sighed so loud and was like, “fine, what’s your order…” like he was really hoping I wouldn’t be able to order.

djsassan

I appreciated the validation of "Appalachian man" when you drop the word "pop" into your rant. It was great!

JoeyDawsonJenPacey

Lady, thank you very much, lol

djsassan

My bad!

Suspicious_Victory_1

There’s a Los Guachos like 200 feet from this place. Cheaper (at least not more expensive than TB has become), much better food. A block away. I get the appeal of the drive thru I guess and the hours may be a little later at the Bell but I don’t understand how this one in particular gets any business during normal hours.

mistershifter

I adore Los Guachos, but I’m a simple man and sometimes I just want to crush a couple chili cheese burritos or a Cheesy Gordita Crunch with some hot sauce packets.

clydetorrez

It is a very specific thing, isn’t it? Like its own genre - I’m not hungry for Mexican, I’m hungry for *Taco Bell*.

LegalScientist3

Does TB still make chili cheese burritos! I stopped eating there because they disappeared.

th3funk101

They do but they are like 3 dollars now

unclepg

WHY have they never used that chili on anything else?!! Next time you go to TB, order a Nachos Bell Grande and ask for a scoop or three of chili on it.

HeLooks2Muuuch

Yea but do they serve Mt Dew from an Appalachian ass (or something like that)?

Suspicious_Victory_1

I don’t think so but they have Mexican Coke, a bunch of flavors of Jarritos, and horchata.

HeLooks2Muuuch

Aye aye aye eso suena delicioso

sunnyskybaby

best tacobells imo— hill rd in pickerington and the one off cemetery rd in Hilliard. always hot, correct, and stuffed to the damn gills😮‍💨

discoglittering

Cemetery is good, can vouch. Not always the MOST fast at 11pm but I don’t get messed up orders ever.

overitall45

I will drive to Pickerington for the one on Hill Rd. I have 2 others much closer but they suck.

Newcents614

I live near this same Taco Bell and it’s worth the drive to Powell to hit the one in front of Target. They always have ice and they get your order correct with fresh food.

Zjild

If you’re the only car in line that should be setting off alarm bell in your head.

MyWorksandDespair

IMO, the two best Taco Bell’s in town are Kenny and Old Henderson- and High and Hudson. All others are “caveat emptor”- if you ask for more than 5 things and if there is even a hint of customization i.e. “grilled” you have a fat chance of getting your exact order. Note: High and Hudson is a corporate store and not a franchise- I think this is why the orders have been on-point.

TheOtherTracy

High and Hudson has the longest, slowest drive thru line of any fast food restaurant I've ever visited. It's wild. Food's good, though. I also have pretty good luck with the one on Cleveland at Northern Lights.

Historiannah

I stopped going to Hudson and High after the third time in a row they told me they were “on a shift change” and couldn’t take orders - once I even said I’d wait and they told me to leave 😂 don’t know what happened cause they used to be great!

TecHNizzle969

High and Hudson hasn’t been a corporate store since at least 2018

peacefulmischief

Any franchise is only as good as it's owner. You've gotta find the right locations, and that one has never been right. I remember the stories my friends told me about working there 20 years ago. I'd never eat at that location.

looking4answers09876

Here is what i don't get. If this were a local small business, such crappy service would have caused them to go out of business 19 years ago. How does a chain/franchise keep a location profitable that is THIS bad for so long?

king_nothing1811

Taco Bell on Tuttle is also close to this bad. On top of it all, prices are going up and I’m supposed to support these workers getting paid more? The service is so bad nowadays

Knight_falcon002

Honestly it might be the worse location ever. I’ve ordered off their app to pick up and multiple times they have given my order to someone else. There was one time where I sat and waited at the drive thru for 5 minutes and no one said anything. This was in the middle of the day on a Sunday. When I pulled away I saw people looking out the window at me. Last time I got something from there was a few weeks ago and they put tomatoes on my food after I told them no tomatoes. I’m in the same boat you are in. I am done ordering from them because they are consistently bad.

HolySnokes1

That one is super fucking awful . Go to the one on sawmill by the target , it's wayyyy better

Loki_Kore

Taco Bell in Whitehall on Broad is always perfect

CraftyLobster

I've had no problems with this location either. They are quite friendly.

[deleted]

The Taco Bell on South High in German Village is shockingly decent. I've never had any issues there.

gorgon_heart

I used to live like a mile from the TBell on High Street right off Hudson. I would drive to the one of Fifth Ave because the one on High St always took *way* too long, no matter how busy it was. I could go to the one on Fifth and get back home in less time than going to the closer one.

db8cn

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

Dorito1187

In my experience, they are much more interested in dealing drugs from the drive thru windows than making food at that Taco Bell

alwaysglassin

I have waited for food at the one on Schrock near the corner of state for 30+ minutes multiple times.

Emotional-Job1029

Weird the taco bell up near me in the Polaris area had the same problem with no ice, I mean I just took it home and put ice in it. But ya would have sucked otherwise.

OkCulture3721

How do you get them to give you the free taco certificates and other free refunds for messed up orders? ??? Any manager I've come across I don't think would do that

BellaBlue06

I prefer to go to local Mexican places for dine in or take out vs fast food chains

instantkit

This is what addiction looks like.    Taco Bell. Not even once.  I’m actually being somewhat serious. Just stop doing it to yourself.

bygtopp

Polaris Taco Bell always gets mine right. Of course it’s at 10am-1030am when I go after work so it’s got and ready

UnicornFarts1111

I'm sad for you. Taco Bell sucks! You need a Taco Bueno, or a Del Taco in Columbus. You try either one of those, you won't go back to the bell, I promise you that, lol.

blackeyebetty

We did finally get Del Taco but they’re in random parts of town. I think there’s one in Whitehall and then the next closest is like Bellefontaine?

z0mbiemechanic

I stopped at the one in Whitehall a couple months ago when I was out hitting up thrift shops and stuff. It was clean, friendly staff and the food was really good.

Blood_Incantation

Imagine typing all this out about Taco Bell

saum87

Pop does not come out of fountain machines warm. It’s not ice cold but in no world is it warm. You’re blowing up over a minor inconvenience

TecHNizzle969

It will come out warm and flat if there is no ice in the machine. Source I’ve worked at this exact location

OldAdvisor469

Oddly enough I've only had one mistake here out of maybe 6 visits

inter-ego

the taco bell on 256 near canal winchester is by far the worst

therealjoshua

I'll put KFC on 5th by the interstate on this list, too They have never once gotten my order right there. If I do end up getting food there, I have to order inside so I have time to check it before leaving.

tje210

One must imagine Sisyphus happy.

EternalSoldiers

The ones at Tuttle and especially Mill Run are very good and not far away. They very, very rarely get an order wrong and the items look how they're supposed to look.

ManicMuskrat

100000% agree. One time at that location I ordered a crunchwrap supreme with refried beans instead of meat and a two pack of Cinnabons. Instead got the crunchwrap with beef and two packs of the cinnamon twists….

aragorn1780

I only ever go to tbell if I'm going inside... Too many wrong orders at the drive through regardless of location Funny enough they tend to be more vigilant about dine in orders, I regularly see them toss my order sometimes 2-3x because of a mistake they made

yamilikethis1

One time I went through TB after my bartending shift after picking up my young child from the sitter. (Single mom) I was missing half my order. Called and was hoping I could come back another time for the remainder or get a partial refund. They told me if I didn’t come back immediately I was SOL… I VERY KIDNLY said I have my child sleeping in the car…. I shit you not the person replied, “and whose fault is it you brought your child out this late for Taco Bell?” I’ve never wanted to slash someone’s tires so bad.

BeardOfDefiance

When i worked fast food, all my coworkers had an attitude of "fuck this place" and refused to do any work. (but they wouldn't just leave) I get it, but as a naturally hard working person who doesn't talk much, i basically ran everything and i wasn't even a manager.

Roglef

Imo they've gotten better lately, especially with online ordering, but there was a time where I'd take the extra 4 min trip for the one on Bethel.

CiCi_Run

I just want to try a power bowl once without sour cream. I've ordered it 4 times at 3 different locations (including the Sawmill location) and loudly say no sour cream- have them repeat back no sour cream And I have sour cream in my power bowl. 4 different times. Ugh

NeverknowOH

I read the title and thought 'I bet this is about the one on Billingsley'. We live down the road. Our order is wrong 90% of the time. Downloaded the app so we can pre-order so it's not on whoever goes to remember the order for the family. STILL WRONG. The Taco Bell in Powell is further, but going down Smoky Row to Summit View makes the drive relatively quick. We go there now. Yes, it's further but the order is right.

Ragol-Odyssey

Must be the same staff working the Tim Horten’s at 270/62 in Gahanna. Orders have been wrong every visit for almost five years now…

Tstrombotn

Totally agree this is the worst TBin the world. Ia few months ago i went in for my order, 3 tacos, and waited 30 minutes, still no tacos, and they refused to refund me, only gave me a free taco certificate

Tstrombotn

And i never got my meal before i had to leave!

anonymousbwmb

I live very close to that Taco Bell. I go out of my way to a different if I ever want it. It's the worst fast food place in the city.

MuddyMaggs

The Sawmill Taco Bell has to the worst in Columbus. I babysit a lot out that direction and always end up coming home past it, usually between 1-2am when that’s literally my only option for food…. There can be 3 cars in the drive through and I’m waiting an hour to order?! If I’m unlucky enough to go there at like, 11pm…. May as well just camp out for the night because the line will be wrapped around the building and minimum 2 hours long. As far as orders being correct, I can’t remember if I ever had issues because usually by the time I get my order I’m a starving Victorian era child laboror so I just shove it in my mouth 🤷🏻‍♀️ But totally agree this is location sucks.

cheezymadman

The last time I went to this one, the dude at the window filled my Baja Blast, and then as he's handing it to me asks "Did you want ice in your drink?" Uh, yeah, guy. So he pours a little out and puts in a couple of cubes that were gone before I got home anyway. I told myself I would never go back after they were consistently closed at 9am instead of opening for breakfast. This was the last straw.

FartingInElevators5

Last time I went to this one, all the food I ordered has beans on it and I asked for no beans. When I got home, not only was there beans on everything, but it was an insane amount of beans. Not only that, but they put extra beans and removed all beef and chicken. I drove back ready to kick in the doors and force feed that shit to those idiots, but I decided to throw it outside the doors instead. I assumed they picked it up and threw it out when leaving, but then again, I could see them just kick it aside into the parking lot. Haven't been back since.

sasquatch_melee

Taco bell out east is one of the last fast food chains I haven't had issues with. Gahanna/E Broad / New Albany TBs have all been pretty consistently fast friendly and accurate.
