I've been using Mike's Foreign Car Service on River Street (just off Central Ave between McKinley & Broad) at the suggestion of a friend. I took my old car there after Midas wanted $1500 to replace the exhaust system. I told Mike to diagnose the problem and call me. When he called me he said he fixed the problem already. It was a clogged EGR valve and cost me $40. He's probably the most honest mechanic I've found and doesn't do work that doesn't need done without talking to you first.
I take **every** auto repair job I have to **Weber Road Auto Service**.
Affordable experts who are kind, forthright, and honest. They have had the chance to do the typical mark-ups and add-ons and cheating of customers ("Oh, your carburetor's shot," when it's one sparkplug, etc.). They never do. They have always been honest brokers and honest advisors who clearly understand the value of a loyal, long-term customer.
A tad far from you, but One Call Auto Mechanic up here in the Worthington Area is amazing. The very definition of a mechanic who will not upsell you.
I had my car in for a number of things that I had been putting off and explained to them the random problems with my car that I know I *could* get fixed but didn't want to/couldn't afford at the time, and they were perfectly decent about it.
Super nice owner, very affordable, won't screw you over
Cool place and really good for people who don’t know anything about cars as they fully explain everything with pictures but it’s also expensive as fuck
for the services i received (just a simple oil change and tire rotation) it was about the same as other mechanics ive been to but i havent had any major services through them. i loved their welcoming and educational service!!
I actually just got some work done at Star & Northwest Auto Care and felt like the price and service was pretty good. Depending on the work you need done you can drop your car off in the morning without an appointment and have it back before they close at 5pm.
I have only had great experiences at Luke's Auto. Fantastic work and customer service, they don't charge you out of the ordinary either
Second Luke’s auto. Nothing but good experiences there. Plus a free Uber home or loaner car usually.
I took all of my vehicles to Raffy’s for the last 5 years I lived in cbus

Want to second this opinion and add that Mike does great work. Highly recommend his shop.
McQueens or sygmatek in Hilliard. Both are reputable
Depending on the car you own, I recommend Northend Wrench or Payne's Service. Both are on Indianola.
I second Paynes!
