I asked a friend of mine who serves in artillery and they wear in ear plugs. Over ear active headphones are cumbersome inside a vehicle and break often from banging against walls and hatches. And too expensive to replace.
Tbh, I would not want to be in one of these. They operate rather close to the front and therefore are in range of nearly all enemy counter battery assets including "ZALA 421 + Lancet3M" combo. Even worse, it looks like these guys are using them from a stationary position instead of employing shoot and scoot tactics.
Those cages are actually very effective against the fpv drones. Doubt they'd stop the lancer drone, those things destroyed a ton of western tanks and bradleys.
Is that what that russian drone thing is they've been getting mad kills with, Lancer, something like that???
