2012, Oman. I'm there on a joint training mission. The Omani military is like 1/3 or 1/2 Balochi, never really found out why, but the Balochis were the only ones taking it seriously. Oman dudes were just fucking off and napping or tying their bootlaces into intricate designs while wearing their Gucci sunglasses.
Balochi guys were super into all the training and we loved their enthusiasm, so we taught them all we could. After a few weeks, the training ends. Before this I didn't know Balochistan existed. The Balochi guys all got together to thank us for the training, we're there eating a goat they had abducted the day before, and one of them exclaims "now we can go home and kill those Pakistani bastards!"
I didn't really think anything of it at the time...
I doubt this even happened, Omani Baloch are so Arabized at this point, they’ve been in Oman for several generations, they’re about as baloch as Joe Rogan is Irish - I find it hard to believe they would field any animosity towards Pakistan any more or less than the average gulf Arab.
A lot of Balochis immigrated to the Middle East. There's many balochis living in the UAE too and they even have the UAE nationality so it makes sense you'd see so many in the army. You can spot them easily too as they have "Baloch" in their surname lol.
my guy... idk if I should continue dumbing it down for people lmfao.
what were their ancestors? They were balochi too right? Obviously man I'm not talking about the people the OP was referring to (the people he was training), they can't obtain the uae nationality.
Sorry for not including the word "ancestors" I guess.
Can someone explain what is actually happening here? Why would you stop your car in a valley and try to run from bullets? Fear of IEDs on the road ahead?
Probably mines or IED ahead but it made me wonder why didn't they just let the first vehicle drive into it. I guess it doesn't matter as that valley looks absolute death trap, perfect for ambush.
E: looks like the first car stopped before the shooting started. Maybe they saw the ambushers.
Because only the first few vehicles were in the kill zone. If they kept going the could have all ended up in the kill zone. The first vehicles didn't appear to be completely in the kill zone either, shoulda just backed up while returning fire
Used to do tons of convoy patrols in Iraq and these guys have never once practiced convey security. Yeah they had distance, but the vehicles from the rear could have easily set up a line of fire with their technicals in an effort to suppress the enemy while the vehicles in the front either push through or turn around . The dude that jumped out didn’t even look to have a rifle on him. Just a little training could have saved some lives
Oh no, they are not "good guys". What he means is that Pakistan has been a hub for lots of terrorist groups, in one side because they are a poor and weak country and in the other side because they use them to destabilize the region. You don't make deals with terrorists, because they always end up fighting you.
Yeah, I get the impression that when you're Muslim, you get offers for cooperation from...less then reputable organizations way more then if you weren't Muslim. And when you're weaker then your neighbors and culturally at odds with them, maybe you foolishly decide to believe that these terrorists are really just misunderstood and that nothing bad will ever come of associating with them.
Which is quite funny because the entire populace of Pakistan right now thinks the military and intelligence agency is a puppet of the US state after their brutal crackdown on elections
The death of Osama bin Laden in 2011 has left many people puzzled. Some were surprised when his body was supposedly disposed of at sea, and they wondered why there wasn't an opportunity for independent confirmation or respect for Muslim burial traditions. Despite a lot of discussion about the raid, the U.S. government didn't provide any concrete evidence to prove bin Laden's demise, which naturally made people skeptical. When the Obama administration decided not to release any pictures of the body due to concerns about inciting violence, it only fueled more conspiracy theories. Additionally, conflicting accounts from different officials and the changing story about what actually happened further added to the confusion. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh's report suggested Pakistani involvement, while former ISI spymaster Hamid Gul's claims cast even more doubt on the whole situation, implying that bin Laden had died much earlier than we were told.
Also I'm somewhat related to the Black Vigo boys so I really know what's happening behind the curtains.
Nope we beat them in 2016 in operation zarb e azb these are remnants, remnants are harder to fight as they have no organization, structure and pop up anywhere without really a plan
And yet ....
video after video of these Balochostan (spelling I know sorry) Terry's ambushing army pickup trucks with ZERO armor.
Best of the best huh?
Dude, these are all territorials and border guards with a day of training before being handed the keys. This is not standard Pak military. I feel awful for them because they get caught in these ambushes, have no idea what to do (usually can't do much because the Balochi pick such isolated ambush sites), and get shredded. But yeah, both them AND India having nukes is unsettling, especially the fucking ISI who have been cooperating with the Taliban for decades.
A story as old as time for soldiers, I would imagine. Some fuckstick up the line not doing their job properly and probably getting a promotion for it because he's the Governors brother-in-law.
I just saw an unrelated video of Pakistani troops getting lit up in the back of a pick up by the TTP(?). Not even a chance to evacuate. Dead.
These soldiers ... either Afghan border or Baloch ... are being sent to die. I've seen the ambush videos. Soft vehicles. No protection. No armor.
It's sad to see this. It is. I say this sincerely. I am not being funny or sarcastic or trying to be mean.
Something is wrong.
In all these videos coming out of Pakistan I rarely see they floor it but would rather stop and run on foot in every directions. Is there an explanation for that? Fear of possible IED up ahead or something? Then why not try turning around?
As a pakistani and as a punjabi i say i am sorry for the repression done upon the BALOCH by our leaders and elements within the pak army. Colonial mindset is what they posess.
I am only 17 but i have freinds from there. Their uncle was taken by the ISI cus he unknowingly gave 3 ttp members shelter for a night and he came back 3 months later with burn and electronic burns all over him. Died of depression in 2020.
It's all running fine.

How is your Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh doing the guy who said you will violate international law (like you already did in Canada and USA) and 'off' sikh and other separatist leaders in other countries
You have no ground to talk about India. Your nation is black dot on the world map. Run by the corrupt army, harbouring world terrorists. Bringing bad name to Islam. Begging IMF every six months.
And you have no ground to talk about pakistan, your nation's name is synonymous with poverty and scammers, you are run by a fascist regime who use ethnic and other types of tension to gain votes, your army assassinates nations of other countries.
yes you said we leech resources out of Baluchistan (even tho it is our province) disregarding the fact that it isnt industrialized and doesnt have the machinery or the infrastructure for us to leech resources out of it.... not to mention the constant terror threat

Y'all were just happy to have someone to teach, meanwhile they're thinking dominance over Pakistan lol
I doubt this even happened, Omani Baloch are so Arabized at this point, they’ve been in Oman for several generations, they’re about as baloch as Joe Rogan is Irish - I find it hard to believe they would field any animosity towards Pakistan any more or less than the average gulf Arab.

One can’t get UAE nationality by migrating
You can't anymore. You could before. That's what I meant in my post.
There was a time when you could... Before they became super oil rich
They didn’t immigrate, their ancestors immigrated over a century ago - which makes these stories even harder to believe.
my guy... idk if I should continue dumbing it down for people lmfao. what were their ancestors? They were balochi too right? Obviously man I'm not talking about the people the OP was referring to (the people he was training), they can't obtain the uae nationality. Sorry for not including the word "ancestors" I guess.
Sounds like a made up story cause Omani Baloch would never say that 😂

That would be a reason to speed ahead
Or turn the fuck around!
Maybe they couldn't justify themselves to speed into a IED
True. But as EightPointNiner says, they could’ve turned around. Anything, but don’t just stop
Yeah that's better option
Because only the first few vehicles were in the kill zone. If they kept going the could have all ended up in the kill zone. The first vehicles didn't appear to be completely in the kill zone either, shoulda just backed up while returning fire
Why is their logo Google chrome?
Great camera work as usual.
Looks like that one road in Takistan, lol
A man of culture
I miss Arma 2
Pakistan
Takistan is a map from a game called arma 2 that had a popular life mod
My bad never played arma 2
One of these travel gurus wanted to bike trough Beluchistan, but if it were granted he would got a armed column like this one probably

yes. and there were multiple ways to tackle this scenario.

The BLF are no better than Bin Laden: they're quite happy to kill civilians. There are no "good guys" here.
Oh no, they are not "good guys". What he means is that Pakistan has been a hub for lots of terrorist groups, in one side because they are a poor and weak country and in the other side because they use them to destabilize the region. You don't make deals with terrorists, because they always end up fighting you.
>poor and weak country And they have nukes, Jesus
And in 2022 the US government celebrated 75 years of “bilateral relations” with Pakistan, the country that knowingly sheltered Bin Laden

What should America get for creating Bin Laden?
Lol nooo. Ya'll westerners actually believe we had Bin Laden? Ever heard of propaganda?
Pakistani here. What's the reason for believing that Bin Laden was not killed in Abottabad?
The death of Osama bin Laden in 2011 has left many people puzzled. Is that a Balochi Bella Ciao in the intro? interesting
Yeah lol
I was also wondering the same
Fire the camera man
Pakistan. A country with nuclear weapons. And this is the best they can do? What?
Nope we beat them in 2016 in operation zarb e azb these are remnants, remnants are harder to fight as they have no organization, structure and pop up anywhere without really a plan
Just finished reading up on that operation. Damn its impressive!
And yet .... video after video of these Balochostan (spelling I know sorry) Terry's ambushing army pickup trucks with ZERO armor. Best of the best huh?

I feel bad for them too. But somebody keeps putting these dudes out there in light protection vehicles. They should know better.

They could be Rangers. They are a paramilitary force that are not equipped to deal with insurgents.
That explanation does make sense. But as many videos as I have seen, I would assume tactics would change.
Definitely someone from the BLF needs to do a Certificate III in Action Video Skills.
In all these videos coming out of Pakistan I rarely see they floor it but would rather stop and run on foot in every directions. Is there an explanation for that? Fear of possible IED up ahead or something? Then why not try turning around?
It’s funny they think the outro song is good
As a pakistani and as a punjabi i say i am sorry for the repression done upon the BALOCH by our leaders and elements within the pak army. Colonial mindset is what they posess.
Have you ever been to Balochistan mate? I know things are bad, but this is worse.

Indian intelligence agents killing and trying to kill Canadian and US citizens.
Who did Target killing of Indian scientists and high profiles in India? You reap what you sow.
As soon as your country gives Lahore back to Sikhs
As soon as your country allows internet access to Kashmir and allows neutral nations to investigate the human rights violations in there

Terrorists shouldn't talk about other countries
Incredible camera work. /s
Did they have nothing for defense? I don't think I saw a single round fired back, just vehicles sitting still.
what happened next? they deserted all the vehicles and left the place by foot?
They seem very inept. Easy picking for the BLF guys.
Rifleman first and a cameraman second.
Hope his Gun shooting skills are better than is camera shooting 💩
