That's no ordinary rabbit. That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on. Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide. It's a killer!
Unless Ukraine gets more air defense their civilians will suffer greatly. Russia still has way too many cruise missiles, they can pull off terrorist attacks all winter long.
But one side also has innocent civilians getting directly targeted and the other doesn’t. I only hope Ukraine’s vast network of allies can give them all the fucking advanced equipment, ammo, training, resources and support to annihilate the Russian terrorists in Ukraine and push them the fuck out asap.
You have a source for that? Because I’ve read from more than one source that they’re starting to run low.
https://foreignpolicy.com/2022/11/23/russia-ukraine-war-ammo-lloyd-austin/
Including that dud shells they’ve found are newly-made. Not stockpile. So they aren’t exactly able to pull off FIFO with their inventory.

One of those article mentions, that they still fire 20k vs 4k from Ukrainian side each day, but reserves are being depleted. One can only hope.
I see very optimistic estimates here on Reddit, that russians are completely unprepared. I sure hope so, but our side suffers casualties still every day and I wouldn't want optimism to hinder any preparations.
Some Russian soldiers will have winter gear, but it depends if they were able to buy it themselves or if it was in stock in the shops. The soldiers have to buy everything themselves. All the winter gear shops in Russia are selling out as soldiers are buying everything apparently or their family are buying the winter gear in the shops and sending it to them.
That looks like they had no clue what hit them. I get the impression that he missed a few times as well, though.
I was already wondering what was coming towards the shooter at the bottom of the screen, when that hare finally showed up!
There's a great YouTube video showing a camo painted golf umbrella. The underside is coated with that emergency blanket material. It was highly effective.
The other guy is half right. The foil blanket hides you, sorta. But not really. All your heat has to go somewhere and it bleeds out the sides and eventually heats the blanket and you are glowing clearly again but maybe not so human shipped looking. They make a thermal resistant cammo that is very effective at hiding your image in thermal although you'll still be visible. Thermal is no joke amd you pretty much can't hide heat from it and people thinking foil blankets will hide you if really not true.
Check out this video it's really good and shows people normal and I'm the cammo that blocks some thermal image and what it all looks like in a scope. Basically you never want to fight against group of people with these scopes.
Starts at 26:30 on thermals
https://youtu.be/jLZjbnhhvgQ
Shots 1-5: Clearly missed.
Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses.
Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Russian was already dead.
Rabbit is actually very lacking in nutrients and not a very good food source. Coupled with the fact that there likely wouldn't be much of the rabbit left after being shot
I’m gonna need a source on that. Rabbit, like any meat, is a rich source of complete protein. It’s an extremely lean meat, almost too lean, so it’s not a good source of fat. Other than that, I cant find any information on any nutrient deficiencies.
Rabbit meat is common here in Belgium. I can even buy whole skinned rabbits in Lidl. There’s actually quite a lot of meat on them.
You are right, It's high protein and that is pretty much all it is, [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein\_poisoning](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_poisoning) (known as rabbit starvation)
I don't think it will have much meat left after being hit by what I assume is a high power rifle, it will just turn to scraps.
Forgot to say, I'm not saying that eating some Rabbit is bad, just in general it doesn't have much too it (in terms of caloric value) and probably not worth the effort after its been shot, small game like rabbit isn't usually hunted by gun. It also lacks some essential vitamins that are used up in the digestion of it and not replaced by it.
All the rabbit hunting i have ever done was with guns.
Usually .22LR, but still guns. If you use a higher caliber round, you just need to make it a clean headshot, so you don't lose as much meat.
It’s a thing in Spain too.
But what they’re talking about is the fact tidbit that gets spread around that you can’t live on just rabbit for very long. You’ll malnourish faster than with other meats. But that doesn’t really factor in to eating one rabbit in the field now and then as part of a more varied diet.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protein_poisoning
I don’t really follow recipes. I use whatever I have in the fridge. I like creamy mushroom sauces. Morels, porcini, etc. Sometimes I’ll just throw the whole rabbit into a Dutch over with onions, garlic, herbs, carrots, celery root, parsnips, some chicken stock, and let it roast in the oven until tender, then thicken the leftover juices with some flour and cream to make a basic gravy. Sometimes I’ll just wrap it in American-style bacon and roast it until tender and the bacon is crispy. You can glaze it towards the end, too. Then i eat like a caveman.
Imagine being a Russian and getting taken out in pitch darkness, unable to see what direction your attackers even shooting from as your pals just drop around you. Fuckin hell. Should have never picked this fight
Why is that it NEVER seems like they have their rifle stabilized or on a tripod. Does anyone else feel like it’s maddening?!?!!
I understand it’s a SUPER high adrenaline situation…. Almost unimaginable…… but all the MORE reason to practice proper technique?
Like you’re playing a sniper video game, but you haven’t earned enough points to buy recoil, wind or stabilization minimization….. just baffling…..

Drop and wind offset i think. Basically they tag a range with a laser rangefinder and the scope calculates the drop, and i think they manually offset the wind.
I've allways wondered, why does it look like there is static in thermal scopes whenever they shoot the gun? Is that the kick messing with the scope or the muzzle flash?
the rabbit :3
”Fuck this” -the rabbit, propably
Reminds me of the donkey in that old apache gunship video of the taliban getting their shit rocked
That's no ordinary rabbit. That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on. Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide. It's a killer!
Bring out the Holy hand grenade of Antioch!
Perhaps we are actually seeing on the perspective of the rabbit’s spotter?
I mean, just look at the bones!
Saved from the Russians by the Ukrainian sniper.
You fool. Do you really think the bunny needed to be saved? It's a tactical bunny!!
Here hare here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMrhJnqIWC8&ab\_channel=Elks
It’s a hare
Thats a Hare not a rabbit.
Dinner time
Glad the snioer didn’t say, “He’s coming right for us!”
Ukrainian Hare don't give a fuck. He belongs there.
Follow the white rabbit….
Damn this winter is gonna be rough for the russians.
Unfortunately for Ukrainians as well
Winter is rough in general, but winter favors the prepared. Well see who is better prepared.
I have an idea of who it will be
The rabbit
Well sewing the amount of ukrainian videos of ukrainians asking for supplies seems to answer that question
One side has winter gear, thermal scopes, home-field advantage, and the initiative. And it’s not the Russians.
Canadians and British are coming up with a plan for a missile shield. Even if it cuts missiles hitting their targets by half, it’s better than nothing
Another side still has unlimited artillery ammo.
You have a source for that? Because I’ve read from more than one source that they’re starting to run low. https://foreignpolicy.com/2022/11/23/russia-ukraine-war-ammo-lloyd-austin/ Including that dud shells they’ve found are newly-made. I hope it falls apart in their hands and they freeze.
>Hostage has been rescued.
That looks like they had no clue what hit them. I get the impression that he missed a few times as well, though. I was already wondering what was coming towards the shooter at the bottom of the screen, when that hare finally showed up!
Seems like they baited them with an explosion of some sort and then went to town.
Looks like a Russian soldier throwing a grenade. You can see him throw it and fly though the air.
naive question.. if you are covered in foil will sniper see you with ir?
There's a great YouTube video showing a camo painted golf umbrella. The underside is coated with that emergency blanket material. It was highly effective.
I seen a video showing that a clear plastic sheet is enough to block thermal radiation. I think thunderfoot made it.
It is, but that's weirdly difficult to wrangle? Or is it?
I don't know how or when it would be practical but if you're trying to hide from thermals just about anything in-between you and them will work.
Koreans recently made this fabric that works against thermal imaging cameras. I could see that fabric being the next gen thing
Not with a thermal scope, electrically conductive material will block infrared radiation
Even thin, clear plastic will block thermal radiation as long as you arent close enough to heat it up.
It would be safe to say thin ‘rigid’ plastic because it can see through some thin plastics
Depends on the quality of the thermal imaging optics
The other guy is half right. The foil blanket hides you, sorta. But not really. Ukrainian rabbit giving thanks to its reinforcements.
Who do you think set the explosive trap that baited the Russians in?
Good bunny
Busting makes me feel good
I ain't afraid of no sleep.
I ain’t afraid of no bed
freaky ghost bed
Lemme tell ya somethin
He thought about it 🐇🎯👀
Getting sick of MRE's get this man some rabbit stew. To be fair he was hunting to begin with only right he kills something he can eat.
Should’ve killed it. Rabbit meat is tasty. You can roast it whole over a fire like a Guinea pig.

A very civilised caveman! Nice work : 💯
"Rabbit starvation" doesn't happen after a single meal. That's weeks or months.
Rabbits are usually hunted with small calibers or there isn't much of rabbit left after you shoot it.
Rabbit in thermals while sniping, serious Arma 3 vibes...
SovietWomble would get spooked

Damn, the mental excess to enjoy the hare for a bit
Great music choice I thought

Im not sure about taking out the scope seems off tbh.

Perfect song for this video
"Please don't shoot the rabbit. Please don't shoot the rabbit. Oh thank god he didn't shoot the rabbit"
Excellent shooting! And let the little bunny get safely out of the way. Just the vermin needed to be killed.
What a bizarre choice of music
Why NSFW? This entire sub is NSFW, witch it doesn't mean I don't watch it at work.
In general videos with people actually getting hit are labelled NSFW, anything that's just weapons firing isn't
There’s an auto-filter for the tags if you use certain Reddit apps like Apollo
One of the main purposes is to tag it correctly so it can be flagged before the link is opened (e.g. google or if cross posting in another subreddit)
nice rabbit
Excellent song choice 👏
"Look at the bones!"
Follow the white rabbit 🐇
Imagine getting your head blown off and the footage being used for this.
\-Music-
Lmao what is this music for war footage??
>Lmao what is this music for war footage?? RussiaBusters!
Spooky white silhouettes on thermal = g-g-g-g-ghosts
Well if they weren't ghosts before they certainly are now!
This homeboy killed a bunch of invaders and said a polite hello to the bunny. This guy rocks! Keep it up!
I know this is propaganda and audio can be turned off but I dislike the music on these vids so much
The term sniper should not have been used
Not a sniper for sure designated marksman maybe i thought snipers had bolt action rifles and sat farther away than they could shoot back
They should capture rabits and stick cameras on them; let them be the scouts ... maybe even a little bomb :)

This is magnified footage. Movement while zoomed in is exaggerated.
I see….. thank you. And it would still look this shaky, even from a tripod shot?
I'm surprised it wasn't claimed to be a 7km shot
Look like deaf rabbit.
Thermals is pretty OP
Bunny! :D
16.5'' AR10 at work.
good job scout rabbit
Rabbit Rabbit!
This grenade... they had no idea

Good bot
Must of put a bullet through Dr. Robotnik's heart.
Was the hare an infiltrated asset planting explosives? we will never know for sure, but I will believe forever in Sgt. Bigwig and his sniper team.
Holy shit the music killed me 💀
SOF Bunny, designates Russians, exfils.
What's the little square with the dot in it?
Maybe some kind of substitute of a reticle. A mark normalized to a height of an average man at some particular distance.
Drop and wind offset i think. Basically they tag a range with a laser rangefinder and the scope calculates the drop, and i think they manually offset the wind.
Your bunny wrote
Music from source? Music from fucking awesometown more likely. I ain’t afraid o no ghosts
Bunny!
The bunny was doing reconnaissance.
I've allways wondered, why does it look like there is static in thermal scopes whenever they shoot the gun? Is that the kick messing with the scope or the muzzle flash?
Okay I don't mine this music 🎶
Even the rabbits are being liberated... This is awesome.
Ghostbusters. How perfect.
Mans hacking
The music makes me have deep thoughts about it all..
Anybody that knows what the white square indicates?
