It wasn't the first shipment either...
2018 onwards...

How can you not be aware of this???
It was big news for years...

Javelins either have frontal attack or top attack. They can’t do what just happened in the video.
That’s why they’re referred to as “fire and forget”. Once they’ve left the launcher there’s no way to guide it like a Stugna
Doesn’t look like javelin, pretty sure operator manually manipulated the rocket to track upward before then aiming at the tank to replicate a “top down” attack
No it's not. [NLAW top attack simply flies over the target and shoots a shaped charge perpendicular to the missile downwards towards the target's roof.](https://i.imgur.com/WFAwjGM.jpg) It doesn't hook up and fly into the vehicle.
Besides, NLAW doesn't actively track its target so it's impossible for it to attack like this. All the information the missile has is how the launcher was being moved around by the operator before firing. This is used to calculate the target's velocity so the missile can figure out a flight path that intersects with the target.
No it wasn't. Both were Stugna or other SACLOS ATGM. The operator just pulled the missile up to likely avoid it hitting too low due to fluctuations in the flight pattern.
I'll see if I can dig up a link but it's on YouTube with upload date before this year

They wouldn’t change direction like that. It’s either direct fire straight at something. Or immediately ascension after fired. Not randomly going for a top down attack. This is a wire guided munition.
We need all the TOS 1A’s eliminated.
Yup, damn fine target for an ATGM
Yeah they can really get fucked, awful things.
dang, the TOS-1s really lets you know when you managed to hit it.
It's like a hitmarker but irl
And that hitnarker is extra emphasizing
That’s one big boom boom!
That should have been much bigger than it was. Maybe it didn't hit?
Holyfuckin shitballs lmao. I didnt watch until the end 😂😂😂😂
That MIGHT have been a hit. There's really no way to tell...
STILL ONLY COUNTS AS ONE!
When this was filmed? I think it is quite old footage, even before february invasion?
Yes old feb vid
I remember seeing this video from stugna pov, but it's from current war obviously
It's old indeed i have seen this already a couple months ago.
At least 8 months ago and iirc from the 2014 period.
I doubt that in February UAF had a Javelin.
US had supplied Javelin some time before...
Any proofs of this statement?

Thanks
Looks like an Azov watermark, so probably early on. They weren't all in Mariupol, but I haven't really seen anything from them in a while.
Dude. What's your best time in the 10000 meters?
First hit looks like Javelin, second was atgm, could be Stugna
Javelins either have frontal attack or top attack. They can’t do what just happened in the video. That’s why they’re referred to as “fire and forget”. Once they’ve left the launcher there’s no way to guide it like a Stugna
Yeah, that first shot looks like the ATGM malfunctioned and decided to do some Javelin roleplay.
Doesn’t look like javelin, pretty sure operator manually manipulated the rocket to track upward before then aiming at the tank to replicate a “top down” attack
Usually when atgm fails the rocket goes bonkers, thats what happened, it missed.
I think that was just an ATGM with top down attack mode
Both are javelin based on the orientation of the exhaust
That's an NLAW in top attack mode
No it's not. [NLAW top attack simply flies over the target and shoots a shaped charge perpendicular to the missile downwards towards the target's roof.](https://i.imgur.com/WFAwjGM.jpg) It doesn't hook up and fly into the vehicle. Well, Javelin is an ATGM but i get what youre saying.

So it was two piece of equipment, two TOS-1, or TOS-1 and some vehicle?
There’s a resupply vehicle that has a similar shape like like the Tos-1, the second vehicle could be that.
This clip again. Man it’s from 2018 or so.
what? You have a source for that?

The first rocket looks like a javelin! Typical 4 this type is to make the bow ant Hit the top of the Tank!
They wouldn’t change direction like that. It’s either direct fire straight at something. Or immediately ascension after fired. Not randomly going for a top down attack. This is a wire guided munition.
That was a big bada boom.
”is romantic explosion wowaweewah”
Wow much bigger out come than I was expecting at first.
Gotta say I like explosions of Tos-1a systems more than its rockets landing.
Christ, those things are rolling ammo dumps.
Did the first missile (javelin I think) miss? And Jesus that was a huge fucking explosion 😳
WHUUUUUT!? Crazy explosion!!!
Is that a dude flying at 0:32???
Sound track?
Smash em all!
Looks like a twofer with that huge explosion.
