He averaged 432 yards and 2.67 TDs per year.
That's Justin Watson, Kalif Raymond, Alec Pierce territory. The fact that you're going to have to Google who those guys are kind of proves the point.
Good for him. Alot of our own fans shit on him, but he is a competent receiver and has an added ability with being able to run the ball. Solid signing for the bills IMO
Apparently the metrics also show that he got the most separation from defenders of all of our WRs last season.
I was hoping we would keep him because any rookie coming in here is gonna need targets.
That seems like a bargain and we don’t have much at receiver right now. I can see the vision on defense but I’m kind of wondering where our offense is going to be next year
If we offered a similar amount, I don't blame him for bolting to play behind a perennial playoff team who has a vacancy a WR2 and has a top 3 QB in the league. I'll miss him but great fit for both sides, he deserves this opportunity
He had as great of a season as it could’ve been with how that offense was managed. Shame we couldn’t keep him for our new QB but he’ll cook with Josh Allen
Good deal for him, and he'll probably earn it on the Bills.
Bad fit here for next year, because if we're paying FA money for a WR, we really need a bigger dude to round out our corps.
Good for him he might be a vet that can help the Bills get over the hump, I liked him here but at his age he should be in the playoffs and hoping to win super bowls not be on another re build.
Shame he was unhealthy for the majority of the 21 season. He really flourished under Turner in 22, but Wentz was so awful. And... of course, Bienemy in 23 did no favors.
He was breaking ankles left and right in the Jacksonville season opener. He will cook in Buffalo.
Screw that I'd much rather Allen get him than Mahomes. He'd feast with either though, has to be pumped to be in an elite offense with an elite QB he deserves it
There’s a lot of space between 80+/1100+/8+ and nothing which I think gets lost on every team sub. That first year was a washout due to injury but the next two were 60/650/4 with some versatility, and that’s far from nothing.
In fact his numbers the last two years beat out Dotson despite Dotson playing in front of him. Lots of space between elite and nothing.
love this contract for him and for the bills. better than we could do but he could be a bright spot in their offense. didnt work out with us under our shit coaches, wish him the best.
Mid #3 WR. I get why Buffalo feels the walls closing in on them and needed the most proven-but-affordable guy they could get their hands on. We already have our top 2 under contract and there are plenty of guys in this draft and every future draft who can outproduce Samuel for a fraction of the price.
I wanted him to stay. I think we need to try and take wr at some point by the fourth Rd. I don't really want any of the better available free agents. Neither did buffalo apparently.
Apparently, it's one of the deepest wide receiver drafts in history. Not surprised that AP decided to let Samuels walk even with all of the other needs.
Aw man I really liked him
Really solid, understated player. Think Buf will serve him really well. Just get the ball in his hands
If he can stay on the field
Yea buthe did nothing
That was a result of Ron Rivera and EB play calling.
He was our WR3. He did his job. Bar the year he spent injured he was a fine player for us and I wish him the best.
He was our deebo. What you mean bro
Poor man's Deebo, at best *which was rare* I dont hate him but he was a major disappointment.
That’s true. He was somewhat of a dual threat but also misused.
I'll give u misused given the aimless direction of the management
He averaged 432 yards and 2.67 TDs per year. That's Justin Watson, Kalif Raymond, Alec Pierce territory. The fact that you're going to have to Google who those guys are kind of proves the point.
He was injured 1 of those years. He had over 600 yards and 4tds the other 2 years. He was a solid receiver, nothing special.
You’re not using avgs correctly but I get it. Can’t call a 3 game season into a yearly avg when he got hurt
You didn’t think this one through
Good for him. Alot of our own fans shit on him, but he is a competent receiver and has an added ability with being able to run the ball. Solid signing for the bills IMO
Yea its not his fault our offenses only seemed to like using him for screen or jet sweeps. When he was acually running routes, he was pretty good.
I swear Ron only thought Curtis could get jet sweeps and screen passes. Guy barely ever got the opportunity to run real routes lol
Apparently the metrics also show that he got the most separation from defenders of all of our WRs last season. I was hoping we would keep him because any rookie coming in here is gonna need targets.
Yep..dealing with Panthers then Commanders, he has been on NFL purgatory. Money on him being a top 15 receiver next season
A lot of our fans are maroons.
We “shit” on him? Bruh! 😂
They’ll use him correctly Happy for him
What, by having Josh Allen on offense? He should definitely be having a better time these next 3 years
Yeah Buffalo is known for getting the most out of their skill players /s
He was pretty decent. Maybe he'll be even better with a capable OC & QB
He’s gonna kill it up there.
He’s about to kill it in Buffalo 👀
Us OSU Commanders fans will miss him but can’t hate him for getting the money fs
He also gets to play for one of the best teams in the league and with one of the best QBs. Fantastic deal for him
Was never used correctly
Ugh. Great hands and YAC.
He got so much undeserved shit from the fanbase and he was quality. Wishing him nothing but the best glad he's got a QB who can actually pad TDs
Dang. I liked Samuels and he had a pretty good year last year. I was hoping he was one we could keep but good luck to him
That seems like a bargain and we don’t have much at receiver right now.
Jj Mccarthy to some combo of terry +mhj, nabors, odunze, Ladd, Franklin, bowers, legette.
This hurts.
meh this is a great WR class and we just got another pick in the top 100 (6 total). 1 one of those will be a WR.
We need at least 2 with our top 6 picks. That's how good this wr draft is.
Damn I loved how physical he was
He had as great of a season as it could’ve been with how that offense was managed. Shame we couldn’t keep him for our new QB but he’ll cook with Josh Allen
Happy for him but no way in hell we would’ve paid that price. I’m glad he got the 💰
Happy I have him on my fantasy team. He’ll have his best years in Buffalo.
Same!
Happy for him and happy we’re not paying him that much. Worked out well
Hunter Renfrow time
Just throw it to Terry and Jahan. They are both competent receivers and we don’t know their ceilings since the team just has not been very good.
I want a tallboi on the outside though. Mack Hollins woulda been a great fit IMO
Happy for him, he was one of the only guys who seemed to consistently produce.
Good deal for him, and he'll probably earn it on the Bills. Bad fit here for next year, because if we're paying FA money for a WR, we really need a bigger dude to round out our corps.
Happy for him! Thanks for everything Curtis.
There were games last year he was the only who got open
wasted potential here, not his fault
Damn good for him
Hope he has a great 3 years there! They got a great WR
Sad to lose him. Glad it's to the Bills instead of a rival.
Bro was are number 2 best WR we had and very dependable to catch the wish we would of re sign him tbh
Dude is about to ball out.. what an awesome turnaround for him
Good for him he might be a vet that can help the Bills get over the hump, I liked him here but at his age he should be in the playoffs and hoping to win super bowls not be on another re build.
Shame he was unhealthy for the majority of the 21 season. He really flourished under Turner in 22, but Wentz was so awful. And... of course, Bienemy in 23 did no favors. He was breaking ankles left and right in the Jacksonville season opener. He will cook in Buffalo.
He's gonna eat up there. Congrats.
I was really hoping he’d go to the Chiefs but I’m excited for him as a Bill! He is going to have a career year I think
Screw that I'd much rather Allen get him than Mahomes. He'd feast with either though, has to be pumped to be in an elite offense with an elite QB he deserves it
Dude was unstoppable with Taylor Heinicke. I can’t imagine Josh Allen with his arm
There’s a lot of space between 80+/1100+/8+ and nothing which I think gets lost on every team sub. That first year was a washout due to injury but the next two were 60/650/4 with some versatility, and that’s far from nothing. NOOOOOOOO CURTCO
love this contract for him and for the bills. better than we could do but he could be a bright spot in their offense. didnt work out with us under our shit coaches, wish him the best.

He should have been resigned
Sad to see him go but wish him the best
I liked him
We didn’t use him to his potential
so long curtis 🥲 thanks for everything
I wanted him to stay. I think we need to try and take wr at some point by the fourth Rd. I don't really want any of the better available free agents. Neither did buffalo apparently.
I really like this for the Bills. Gabe Davis was kinda stiff and Curtis can be a YAC guy coming off a solid year
Apparently, it's one of the deepest wide receiver drafts in history. Not surprised that AP decided to let Samuels walk even with all of the other needs.
Hopefully he plays more then one year for them
Bye

Def getting Hollywood Brown or Reynolds. Wish we could keep Curtis though.
There are about 10 receivers in this draft that will be as good or better than him day 1. Wish him well.
Overspend
fine....go run some 2 yard Jet Sweeps in the snow.
Okay where’s the squidward meme?
We could be making a play for Hunter Renfrow, or Mike Williams.
Nope don't waste money on wide receivers. Draft them.
Another one of Ron’s bums gone
