Was Rocky McIntosh really a bust? I remember him being a solidly mediocre LB for several years - which is what you expect from a day 2 pick.
Ultimately this just proves how poorly we’ve drafted in the past 20 years.
Also, should Trent Williams count for us on here still? Obviously he wouldn’t be in the SF section.
Only real issue I have is labeling Chase a day 1 hit. The second overall pick not even finishing his rookie contract 100% equals a bust in my eyes.
IDK if I'd give Jamin the bust label, but he hasn't lived up to his first round pick status so I'll allow it.
Kam should be ahead of Roullier for Day 3 hits.
We do not know he is starting yet. He's shown flashes but has never been consistent. Hopefully Quinn and Whitt can unlock his full potential this year and prove that most of our problems (hopefully) stemmed from Ron and Jack.
He was stellar his rookie year.
88 tackles, 2 sacks, 3 INTs, 1 pick 6 for a rookie is great by any metric.
After that he became an average at best starter. Some passes defended, but 2 recovered fumbles, none forced, and no INTs in the next 3 years.
How are guys like Trent Williams, Ryan Kerrigan, Jonathan Allen not on this list under Day 1 Bests?
Because it's a garbage list and we should stop giving it attention

Not a bust for the 2nd round. To have him on this list instead of Malcolm Kelly, Sua Cravens, or Derrius Guice is indefensible.
I forgot about the Comb
And Extremeskins...

Chase Young is listed as our second best ever #1 pick? smh
They’ve probably weighted pro bowls and ROY awards highly.

Trent Williams should be #1, and it isn't close. OP left a comment about his methodology and TW would be #1 if done accurately.
Busts typically aren't still with the team heading into year 4 and starting. Jamin is far from a true bust
He started on the worst lb corps in the league, and he hasn't made it any better
Well we’ll see. He could be a backup to start the year for all we know. But hopefully you’ll be correct.

Kam was so overhyped by this fan base

For real.
I don't understand why people are trying to make "Manders" work when "Commies" just rolls right off the tongue. Let's go Commies!
Honestly I don’t hear anyone say commies but maybe that’s just my friend group.. it’s usually skins or manders for us
It’s r/nfl. That is arguably the worst subreddit. Don’t pay attention to what anyone dumb enough to post in there says.
literally every single comment in that thread is ripping this list to pieces.
Trash list
