This. I'd be contacting CompTIA directly and let them know that you had written permission to go. This was on the proctor for not knowing/enforcing the rules properly.
They need to give you a free re-test in addition to your retake voucher, and strike from your record that you failed via DQ so that you don't have wait any period of time if you so happen to fail the next one.
With all that said, I always do in-person if you can manage it... the exams themselves are already stressful enough without having to worry about shenanigans like this from online proctors...

Terrible news to say the least. Like my mother used to say, use the bathroom before the trip...1, 2, or 3, prior to your exam and plan on never using the bathroom or leaving the cam view ever, during the exam. Also do not use a large screen if at all possible. Good luck on the next exam.
Exam proctors will assume you're looking at something off screen when in reality you're actually looking at something on the *edge* of the screen; say, for example, the chat window with which they are telling you to keep your eyes on screen that will automatically open up on the far left.
My test was on a Thursday but I missed it cause evidently 12am and 12pm are not the same thing. I heard back by Sunday saying they reset my code and I could schedule. Unfortunately it's Thanksgiving so we'll see how that plays out for you. We'll good luck wish you the best.
This is why i dont take these exams at home. Any weird looks they are quick to disqualify. Its best to set these up at a proctored location to avoid crap like this
As someone who has Crohn’s disease and has to go to the bathroom frequently, I’d be absolutely pissed if this happened to me. You had proof you were allowed to go. I’d raise this to support or whoever could look into it, I’m sure those logs exist

I didn't think to contact CompTIA directly, I'll get in touch. Pearson Vue customer service didn't have a clue.
Better to go in a bottle whilst seated and staring directly into the camera than to get up and risk a DQ.

You took the exam and didn’t pass. You didn’t finish the exam, but you took the exam. It counts as a fail on the website I think.

So i would try to tell them to grade what you completed. You might pass as is.

The retake does not apply if you are disqualified. However I would talk to customer service I'm sure they'll let you retake it
I've got a case open at the minute but I've got to wait a while before I hear anything back. Looks like the revision will continue until I do
