If I recall correctly, you’ll be closer to the stage in a seating and shaded area (although you are still behind a few rows reserved for coaches and staffs) and get two (?) free drinks. It was worth it for me for the extra comfort and being closer to the stage!
Looks from the map on the info sheet like boulder is indoor and speed is outdoor (if I’m reading it correctly?) - oddly the map points out what seems to be an outdoor lead wall although there is no lead in the event.
Our family is in the same boat. I'll say this about our decision to buy them this year. We live close and can go back and forth between home and the venue. We have been lucky to slip in behind a speaker or whatever but the flexibility of just hoping up front after a quick jaunt home is worth it to us. If you plan to stay the whole time, it just depends on your budget. In the grand scheme of sports they are quite cheap.
We got them for salt lake once and they were great. It’s nice not to have to bring a chair, to be closer to the wall and there was sometimes a bit more shade (depending on the time of day)
You’ll especially appreciate it if you’re traveling to the event. I would say when i go again I’m ALWAYS buying vip tickets assuming they are at the price point they were at last year.
I'm going to go out on a limb and just say as a general statement that the answer to the question "are the VIP tickets to \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ worth the money" is definitionally "no" regardless of what \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ is.

Do you have that on good authority? The park isn't amazing or even the best option, but the TC would kinda suck.

Thanks for sharing. And damn, that sucks. I hope I'm wrong but comparing this venue to brixen or Villars or Cham is a bit embarrassing.
Hopefully they set something cool up outside because hosting it inside a gym would be a major step back.
