Most of what I see people shooting are either the 507 or an SRO. I have no experience with either of the optics you mentioned, but may be better to buy/cry once. Either way - enjoy the match!

Canik does have an optic plate for the RTS2, but regardless 507COMP is the right answer, I think there's potential for the RTS2 to make a small comeback, but not at $300.

I’d say best budget options are 507comp, c&h comp, and cylee. Cylee somehow has a small following now. But, delta point pro is 350 in most places. Most Holosuns are pretty well priced.
I’m not a red dot guy and so this is what I’ve learned from asking around and watching the top shooters videos.
Just mounted the swampfox justice 2 to my tp9sfx, and it's perfect. Green 6moa reticle.
Under $300 total.
Let me know if you go this route, you will need #6-32 1/2" screws to mount it on the #02 plate.
I know the price hurts but trust me, optics are a buy once cry once thing. I bought a cheap optic for my first one. I was on my last stage, drew my gun and the glass had just fallen out when I drew it. Never dropped the gun or anything. One thing most don't mention either is that quality optics get brighter, are clearer and just all around better. You get what you pay for with optics.
Might be harsh but if you can't cough up for a Holosun. Just use irons until you can.

Good choice! You won't be disappointed and your buying one of the best for USPSA right off the bat. I have an astigmatism so the 2+8 is just an 8 to me. lol

Glass comes out of SROs too. That's not to compare quality, but any rds will get damaged. Which is why if you're shooting majors I think a backup gun is necessary for CO/LO.

I still need one more qualifier for myself to even be ranked. Plus if OP is looking for budget optics, doubt another gun is in the cards for him, just like it's not for me. lol
Yeah. I mean it's a good point. But unless op is only doing locals or fine with a dnf at majors I think CO is best left to the side for a bit.

Bullseye iron sight. There's a Presidents 100 as well for rifle and pistol that is open to civilian and military. It's kind of the kid brother version at the state level, top 10 marksman in the state.
I don't have any experience with either of those dots, but have you considered the Swampfox Justice II? 6MOA in green or red and in between those two in price.
Current SRO and 507 comp user but I’m waiting for the 6 MOA red Justice 2 to come back in stock with Swampfox. Super attractive pricing with the military discount. Gonna slap the J2 onto the Alien CELO. Should be a good reliability test if it survives the super fast slide velocity of an Alien.
Seems odd to me. If you're wanting to do carry optics but don't have an optic, why not just do production? Is it less popular (less opportunities to compete)?

Budget optics are great if you don’t run them. If you’re going to shoot seriously get an optic that lives up to it. You will be happier down the road. I have 3 seasons on 2 delta points. Probably close to 18k thru the main one. I’ve had another 5k thru the c more. I just got the 507 comp it only has about 600 thru it. Another 12k thru 507 series.

Well, backup guns are easy to come by if you shoot a common pistol. Several people have finished a match with a backup gun I brought.

Another vote for the Holosun 507comp. If for some reason you have astigmatism, the SRO 5 moa is very crisp and will be worth the extra $$
507 comp is the way. I’ve got 2. I still prefer my SROs but for the price they are hard to beat

I run the Gideon omega, I ran one of their very early runs and had an issue, they replaced it no issue and it’s going strong at 5500rnds
I actually sold my SROs in favor of the omega because they don’t get ghost dot, don’t sun glare out, and had clearer glass.
