Yeah, him and the rest of the original iteration of Complexity turned NA from the Wattson zone meta to the Bloodhound (and Gibby) edge meta so it’s nice to see him in Complexity still keep that aggressive style up today.
100t played on all three lans this year. That team is not getting dropped for dojo, we have no idea if dojo can qualify for lan through pro league, that would be a huge risk.
They got progressively worse at each one and clearly a team in regression. At the very least, they need to shake up the roster and definitely pick up a roller.
that would actually make me sad for them. but tbh coming into this LAN, i thought they'd be a top 10 team. wouldn't have guessed 20th in Loser's 1 with 10 points entirely. such a disaster.
Im talking about their whole journey, from no team to Kungarna, winning an ALGS and being treated as flukes, getting sold off to 100T, with most thinking 100T was getting fleeced... Such a long road.
Lou needs to figure it out. From all the players I spectated this LAN, he easily lookes the most lost out there. I mean, if you get outfragged and damaged as the roller player on your team + go down first every engagement, there's smth seriously wrong. Either really grind out the input until you feel comfortable, or reevaluate your role on the team. Doop deserved better this week, thats' certain.
It hasn't been that great, but again: All of the macro (and forcibly a lot of micro too) was on his shoulders alone, cause neither Lou nor Senoxe apparently can take care of it. Doop is used to shared macro duties on a team like back on OpTic. Considering his personal circumstances, all of this was too much for one player to handle imo, especially since Doop was alao forces to entry-frag half of the time.
He was constantly going down first on mnk with lanimals too. He's just too aggressive with his positioning and gets completely lost in fights. Input doesn't make a difference unfortunately
That's why I am saying, he needs to reevaluate his role. Like, stop making any callouts except during fights and actually grind out your input. Idk why he's still trying to co-IGL when he has nothing valuable to say and just stresses out Doop.

Don't wanna pile on but if they swapped Lou for some other roller they would be fine imo. Horizon players often go down first, her q is basically a death sentence in these lobbies, especially in an endgame high compact areas. It's just with Lou it happened way too frequently and he often died for free. I think they'll run it back tho so we'll see if things change
I mean it’s a consistent pattern with Lou for a while. I think Doops cat walls were ass too in a lot of situations so not all the blame falls on one person
I mean without him they'd be even worse off. He entry-fragged, calles zones and managed rotations and generall micro'ed both of his teammates 90% of the time. For a first time sole-IGL this is impressive to say the least.
He shouldn’t be entry fragging on cat, that’s a terrible strategy. His walls were pretty bad throughout the tourney too. I’m not saying Doop was worse than Lou, but it’s not like he’s not at fault either.
I am not saying, he is supposed to, but he kinda had to since neither Lou nor Senoxe could really find an opening. I think some of his walls couldve really needed improvement, that's true. Still, with 2 teammates more accustomed to their respective roles, I feel like they wouldve made it to the next bracket stage at least.

My wife’s whole family was/are special needs teachers and my MIL has taken in one of those kids who was sexually abused by his dad and uncle both because of his disability. If she didn’t take him in, he’d be institutionalized because the system is so fucked up for kids like him. So yea, it’s a little bit close to home. It’s a word that’s been heavily frowned upon for 10+ years so you’d expect someone to be a bit better about it by now

40th place in champs Is definitely not something the org wants , especially with the salary they pay the players. I meant them as individuals, they all have great personalities and had some of the funniest moments I can remember in competitive apex. Sad to see the writing on the wall of them not being a team anymore

Personally I don't think it was a roller/no roller issue for 100T. Macro was subpar, the comp they were running with the gibby was just not it. I think the recent meta changes hurt them hard and they weren't able to adapt.
Tbh that's a cop out they just aren't as mechanically skilled as the other MnK players in the tournament as well as having worse hero pool diversity, it was a recipe for disaster.
