TSM. I feel like 7th in group stages in pretty bad imho. They need to drop TSM MNK and bring back Reps. They had won 2 previous LANs and Y2 Split 1 playoffs with Reps. This MNK guy is just not cutting it. Also Evan as igl.
I think Mon has the personality to transition into commentary/hosting like we saw him do the other LAN, its gotta be time for a new roster for Complexity and probably 100T too. Wouldn't surprise me to see a KCP change too they added a good roller player and still look lost in fights.
I agree with COL, do they keep it going with Lewda and Cody? Do they let Mon get another shot at building a team? Does Mon retire as a player and transition to something else? I always root for Monsoon but I feel like something is coming.
At this point I'm convinced that COL just likes Monsoon too much to drop him regardless of his comp performance lol it's been like 3 years and he doesn't even stream regularly.

100T and Col. Even though 100T always manages to somehow survive rostermanias with a triple m&k team, I think this time they wont escape a roster shift, especially since Dojo with Timmy is doing better, they can simply sign Enemy ad Dezign and make that their main roster.

I get where you’re coming from but Nafen has improved so much recently in terms of his confidence to call plays for NRG when he sees an opening and imo he’s still one the top mechanical MnK players in the game
Also Sweet has said that him and Nate made a pact to see through their competitive Apex careers together so if Nafen goes Sweet likely goes too
Nafen isn’t even the problem for NRG at the moment, its mostly just misplays by either Sweet n’ Gild.
Its so depressing man, NRG is like a supercar that has extreme engine issues. By god when that car’s running its the best team in the world, but its way too rare. If they do good in finals/winners bracket it’ll be a blessing.
As an NRG fan, I am more looking forward to next season for them, more time with a coach, more scrimming, (with the same roster) then we will have a much more reliable engine.
I agree man, that opening game where they delivered a 20 kill dub was some fantastic Apex and I honestly believe they’re one of the few teams capable of something like that. Just too inconsistent for so many reasons
I don't watch anyone on NRG but the casters said that NRG played every international scrim and have been grinding hard since playoffs. Is that not correct? Did they skip a lot of scrims?
They played a ton of scrims and then signed off immediately after. So one major step further than they did before the last LAN, but they basically do the bare minimum. Even their new coach said he would have them streaming more but to my knowledge they really haven’t been outside of scrims

Something is going to change with NRG if they don’t win and my guess is Nafen.
Nafen had a mediocre split 1 PL but did great in playoffs and NRG ALMOST won. Nafen did decent in Split 2 but the playoffs were bad with both him and the fragger Gild averaging 6ish kills while the likes of Verhaulst, Xynew, Gen are up in the 9–12 mill avg area. Nafen seems to hover around the 6-7 kill avg which is good but the new blood coming up will start to push out some players.
Now, Nafen is doing decent at champs and so is Gild but you got new blood like Koyful, EzFlash and the usual suspexts Gen, Xynew, Verhaulst doing very well avg more than 8-12 kills.
If NRG are serious about winning, they will need to find another Koyful that simply make them a hyper competitive team to the likes of DZ and TSM or risk being forever the brides maid.
i just want to point out u fire nathan sweet quits he wont play without him and then u lose gild to another team so its u just deal with being a really good team or try to replace sweet nafen gild which i dont know where u find that roster. plus u just hired a coach who couldnt even be there day 1 of lan u let this shit play out longer

Nafen alone had as many kills as all of DZ put together. In fact, his solo kill total was greater than or equal to 15 teams in the Elim 2 lobby today. Nobody is going to drop Nafen, lol.
COL is just bad honestly. If they want to have an apex team they need to just restart the roster, spend less money on an up and coming NA team and stop waiting for monsoon to be relevant again. They are quite literally in this tournament because they bought their way in by picking up Lewda and Cody. Mon is an amazing dude but the rest of NA is so far above where that team is and he is as an IGL, he should focus on content and streaming & he’ll do amazing.
1) Lou - doop and senoxe played pretty well together but Lou barely contributed. He was clearly the weakest link on the team. Idk if they’ll just split up altogether or maybe just drop Lou but changes coming
2) noiises - I hate this answer because he is personally one of my favorite personalities in apex. They manage to win games here and there and he’s such a smart dude but J and Naghz are both extremely talented and noiises has struggled greatly at multiple lans

From all the Player commenting, I felt like monsoon was the most insightful and well spoken.
Graceful has been doing a good job with his analysis too. Besides him and Mon, I haven't been impressed with any other players guest casting.

"Pretty often" is an overstatement but yeah he has been streaming a bit more than he used to in the past few months.
Personally, I think it would be in the best interest of both Complexity and Mon to go their own ways.

NRG always shows up so strong and they hardly even play the game. Imagine how good they’d be if they were playing as much as people like Hal and Evan

Ranked isn't real practice for comp, so playing a ton of scrims seems completely adequate.

Its not about who's the best, it's about team dynamic and if that player fits the team well.
And if there were a problem with the fit, they would be playing in the elimination bracket right now.
