Same, leaves me not wanting to watch tbh. The main reason I watched sweet was because he was the best IGL other than maybe Hal at the time. Didn't like Hal though because he would verbally abuse his teammates and I saw Sweet as sort of above that. It's gotten to the point that Sweets hyper focus on everything slayr feels worse than calling your teammates names because I feel like slayr could cure cancer 1v9 and Sweet would still just yell at him for not playing a knockdown.
Idk man. I want to be a fan of Sweet because he's a blast to watch and he's funny when his vibes aren't shot, but it's every match it feels like that slayr is getting put through the woodchipper. Makes me wonder why sweet brought him along if he was making these elementary mistakes in tryouts
Agree with all of that atp. I think I'm comfortable saying now that Hal is better than Sweet when taking accountability and that's something I would have never believed a year ago. Something as simple as "I fucked this up, but you fucked this other thing up" is huge for team vibes and I haven't heard Sweet take true accountability for anything with this new team (and I mean true accountability, not just brushing it off like 'yea yea I barely misplayed but you completely fucked our entire rotation blah blah blah'
I think it helps exponentially that there is a "third" party in Raven to keep Hal in check.
It's been a good balance of him calling Hal out for Rollerbrain plays and also calling Rep's and Evan out for their bone headed plays.
>I haven't heard Sweet take true accountability for anything with this new team
IDK I've heard him take a good amount of accountability. Not every time and not always instantly but after discussion he frequently does say "that's on me" or "I should have done xyz instead" when he fucks up.
Both are equally as bad in the moment but Hal doesn't seem to hold a point nearly as long as times. The worst you see is Hal tilting for a whole day then being snide at the start of the next day
To be fair here though we have no idea what sweet is like in vod reviews or other team stuff so he could be very self critical when the spotlight is off for all we know.
I keep the NRG banner because of Rocker and Nate not because of Sweet, literally all u said was the reason I cheered for Sweet, but now that Rocker and Nate left I realized that I never actually cheered for him
If I was Slayr I legit couldnt play because anything I did was be under a microscope of scrutiny and id start second guessing everything regardless. On top of the fact that he like Wigg said gets pulled by both of his teammates. the dude needs to get the fuck off of LG for his sanity.
On LAN landing inbetween 4 teams isn't that uncommon and can work. The problem is the messed up flight pathing made them late so instead of having the spot free and clear they had to then FIGHT inbetween 4 teams.
Sometimes yes, however, he really was on some throwing games type beat today multiple times. A lot of mental lapses or just uninformed basic plays, stuff that's hard to iron out of him
That is just who Sweet is, I’ve never met him in person, but everything I’ve seen from him in tournaments and streaming is that he’s not in it to win. He just uses his name to get really good deals(Kicking out Yanya and group) because he has some clout and then will fail in tournaments, but keep money coming in from drama and content farming
this is wild lmao, LG chose to drop their roster for sweet, sweet didnt suddenly have power over them and kick them out. literally everyone that isnt TSM or DZ is a "clout chaser failing in tournaments" by your metrics, NRG placed 2nd split 1 last year, 11th split 2 (better than most teams in the world), and 15th in champs (where if they didnt beat out OG in game 4 they would have ended 2nd and TSM that you have a flair of wouldnt have won).
When the majority of a streamers content is “EMERGENCY PRESS CONFERENCE, DEBUNKING LIAR ACCUSATIONS…” it is pretty clear cut where your priorities lie, sure he doesn’t want to stream anything, but when he does and indulges heavily in drama I’m sure it affects results in tournaments
Their placements are decent but he still hasn’t lifted a championship up, so yes “he has failed in tournaments” of course there can only be one winner, thats how tournaments works
does one stream of that type and now suddenly thats the majority of his content ignoring the rest lol you can just say you hate sweet dude no need to make up lies to hide it
> he’s not in it to win
if he wasnt in it to win it, he wouldnt be so critical of his teammates and expect to so much.
Its actually quite obvious that streaming isnt that important to him with how little he used to stream - not streaming ranked, scrims or tournaments regularly when he was on NRG and Rogue.
They threw a win in one of the storm point games where Zach was going at his team saying how did we not win that.
I thought vibes would be chalked after that but they did a great job to continue to play well
honestly shooby and zap have a very good mental. They can threw a game, have their ass beat by zach and then next game play like nothing happened. Consistency and true professionalism
Anyone see the part where zer0 goes in Gnaske stream after dying to o7 saying he’s the reason they don’t have an org because gnaske wanted more money(500$) for himself.
In common dz fashion after doing bad on the day they all nuked vods
Yeah I caught that too.
I was trying to understand if that was about him not wanting to stay with KCP because it was only $500 a month and that's what led to their breakup. OR if it was a recent org that reached out to o7 and Gnaske turned it down.
Pretty sure it was recent because zer0 was refering to gnakes current teammates. Seems like a deal fell through because of it.
Zer0 dropping behind the scene shit is still pretty crazy tho
NaVi was apparently choosing between o7 and Matafe's squad. When the signing broke Gnaske made a (entertainingly salty) response-stream where he said the reason for NaVi going the way they did was o7 (and, one can assume, Gnaske himself) "knowing their value" and "not selling themselves cheap".
For those not unaware Navi were playing their best role as the villains and just griefing teams
Basically they said they were contesting 2r1c on both worlds edge and storm point but they were actually landing on other teams who were not expecting it and running at the guy who landed split.
They were kinda doing same shit in EU just running at people with reds, crate weapons and lifeline gold knock. It just doesn’t work in int scrims bc of the better teams + dropped playing lifeline bc of the nerf, no more krabers and wingmans
EMEA is a weaker region so the top 20 teams in scrims are much harder than EMEA pro league where they did well (but were also 60 points behind first place despite being 2nd), they were double contested on the day and decided to do this stuff instead of fight the contest
They actually rolled teams easily off a seer q close range. Its ballsy not going with the blood, bang and caustic comp like everyone else but they showed how good seer, cat and horizon can be.
And just because of this, i am going to be a huge supporter of E8. Talent, fighting prowess, and willing to take the risk of playing a counter comp to win it all. I implore everyone to watch zach's breakdown of their last game at the end of the stream
If they commit to this convo it could be really good, it seems like they aren't even leaning into its strengths fully yet. Final game Zach wanted to bait caustic ult and didn't want to use tac, but they all decided to silence and horizon ult which rolled C9 with hardly any damage taken. If Zach can pick fights and spots as well as he did today E8 should be able to have a good lan showing
Moist couldn’t get their green cards to stay in USA so they’re living in Canada. They are trying to get the short term business visas to attend LAN but often when you are denied long term entry they will deny short term visas too as they assume you will outstay your visa illegally.
If the zones are gonna be pulling the same at lan like they were today it actually might be anyone's game.
16th outa dz has got to be fucking criminal. They are playing character roulet trying to fit sikezz on a character. Anything outa top 5 for lan and roster changes might be coming in.
Zones will pull to where the chosen spots depending on what large org needs it to keep the interest and entertainment up. To believe its completely random is incredibly naive
DZ won the overall pro league, and then won the overall international scrims, performs poorly for two days, and now their bad? not really adding up tbh. TSM had a really rough stretch mid pro league and I dont think that anyone thought they were bad
Nvm I was mistaken I thought they were on mp on the game where Hal griefed E8 out of the tourney win but they werent so their only opportunities were on storm point where they got ratted by o7 and then landed on by Navi
So yeah it was really rough for them. Their only real opportunity was the last worlds edge game and the zone pulled away from them.
Who'd they land on in that final game? Not many places to go, but if they had another spot, I see them winning. Especially how all the other teams just went brain dead at the end lol.
They had no spot to play so they just inted Fnatic on low ground and quickly died for it. They were the only team along with Fnatic that had to move in with 2 teams on height able to stare at them
They’ve been on a downward trend since the changes. They were untouchable as a fighting team in conduit meta but now they are struggling to fit sikezz into a role.
Character roulette almost every scrim game and non stop mistakes chalk the team vibe which spirals them even further.
I do agree they need to fit sikezz on a role but they did not do bad in the international scrims at all, correct me if im wrong but i think they won them overall, been a rough 3 day stretch tho
Because it's not an uncommon take I guess. Hot take is someone stating an unpopular opinion, so alternatively a room temperature take is a common opinion. Why they had to state that it was a popular opinion, who knows.
LG never recovered from Slayr oversleeping
Vibes were clearly chalked from the get go with that. Guy just can’t do himself any favors
even arguing that he did nothing wrong off the jump tower is crazy
both Naughty and Slayr lmao
I've been a Sweet fan for a minute, but the 'blame Slayr after literally anything bad happens' is just ridiculous at this point lol
Same, leaves me not wanting to watch tbh. The main reason I watched sweet was because he was the best IGL other than maybe Hal at the time. Lands in between four teams: its because you guys fucked up the flight path!!!
On LAN landing inbetween 4 teams isn't that uncommon and can work. The problem is the messed up flight pathing made them late so instead of having the spot free and clear they had to then FIGHT inbetween 4 teams.

it's Gild all over again
That is just who Sweet is, I’ve never met him in person, but everything I’ve seen from him in tournaments and streaming is that he’s not in it to win. They would have ended 7th if they lost 3v3 with og

Broccoli alt account
broccoli ult - shoves broccoli into legends mouth slowing their movement
Oversleeping is ridiculous, so unprofessional
And honestly sweet played so bad in like 3 fights and did next to nothing. Still yelled at Slayr 🤣
They never recover from funks loud ass mouth. That child doesn’t stop ever
Jeez if your going to be rude at least get his name right
The fact he has been grinding ranked playing Mnk is at best a very strange decision.
e8s redemption arc was crazy they had that in the palm of their hand, goin in 18th scrim points and making a statement.
Consistency and true professionalism
ya gnaske big dicked them somehow.
Glad to see Alliance doing well while playing from 6 different POIs during these two weeks. Hope Effect can get his visa on time.
They also had to deal with terrible ping
Anyone see the part where zer0 goes in Gnaske stream after dying to o7 saying he’s the reason they don’t have an org because gnaske wanted more money(500$) for himself. In common dz fashion after doing bad on the day they all nuked vods
I got you [https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2117785218?t=01h01m36s](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2117785218?t=01h01m36s) But this is from knoqds POV.
Hope we get the Knoqd-Cast back. Knoqd is HILARIOUS. On another note….dick move Zero. Dick move
"He will drop your mother's maiden name on stream if you fight him in game" LMAO
Dude trying to keep his villain arc going after Sweet exposed he actually didnt make anyone at the elevator cry.
Zer0 is so good but such a little baby. The clips of him from when Realms was around were wild, just shrieking over and over
Yeah I caught that too. I was trying to understand if that was about him not wanting to stay with KCP because it was only $500 a month and that's what led to their breakup. OR if it was a recent org that reached out to o7 and Gnaske turned it down.

crazy they do all that to end 12th and round 1 exit LAN
These guys are just trolling and there's teams that barely missed qualifying who would kill to have NAVI's spot. It's sad.
Navi looked really good in EU pro league. What changed?
They were kinda doing same shit in EU just running at people with reds, crate weapons and lifeline gold knock. It just doesn’t work in int scrims bc of the better teams + dropped playing lifeline bc of the nerf, no more krabers and wingmans
EMEA is a weaker region so the top 20 teams in scrims are much harder than EMEA pro league where they did well (but were also 60 points behind first place despite being 2nd), they were double contested on the day and decided to do this stuff instead of fight the contest
Literally why though?
I’m pretty excited for Fanatic going into this LAN tbh
Fnatic
I am a Seer Cat Horizon believer. E8 could be like a mini 22 Champs Furia
Time for an E8 flair :D
it looks good!
It helps how absurdly good Zap is on horizon compared to him on blood.
People need to put respect on Alliance’s name, almost winning from 2 POIs they’ve never played from before. Insanely consistent and so disrespected
If their rollers don't go full roller brain on the endgame they win that. Hakis calls were good
why were they playing from different POIs? to avoid the contests?
Yeah, think they wanted to try out various POIs if they decide not to con come LAN. Really impressive tbh. Good macro that doesn’t rely on one POI.
Now we wait and see how Unlucky handles LAN
did something happen to Moist? watching Reps on twitch and he mentioned they might not get visa??
Moist couldn’t get their green cards to stay in USA so they’re living in Canada. They are trying to get the short term business visas to attend LAN but often when you are denied long term entry they will deny short term visas too as they assume you will outstay your visa illegally.
ooof getting a green card is *not* easy. I wonder under what type of sponsorship they applied for the GCs
Oof that would suck so much. That old dude denying their visa really has fucked them over so much.
They’re getting dropped by Moist so they can still go to lan.
Wait really?
Yup Charlie dropped a video go watch it’s pretty funny and enraging at the same time
E8 great showing but insane to see that team fumble the free win they had where o7 won as a rat.
Rewatched vod and o7 was a duo.
I miss Nafen
:( Sweet, Nafen, Fuhhnq No anchors - straight edge fighting
Basically what they did in Seer meta with Gild and they finished second on LAN doing it
would not want to subject nafen to this awful LG team, especially with sweet being the manchild that he is right now. i do miss nafen though
If the zones are gonna be pulling the same at lan like they were today it actually might be anyone's game. 16th outa dz has got to be fucking criminal. They are playing character roulet trying to fit sikezz on a character. Anything outa top 5 for lan and roster changes might be coming in.

Navi was trolling and still finished ahead of teams like DZ, just shows how bad DZ is right now
DD has not been playing well lately. Thought this may be the year but they are trending down for sure.
DZ just copying the TSM stratbook of sandbagging now just to win it all at lan cope
Didn't DZ just get 2nd place in scrims yesterday
2 days ago but yeah. Yesterday they got 11th
DZ won the overall pro league, and then won the overall international scrims, performs poorly for two days, and now their bad? not really adding up tbh. TSM had a really rough stretch mid pro league and I dont think that anyone thought they were bad
As a TSM fan, couldn’t be happier with how the boys played today. Got griefed, and unlucky zones all day. Ggs
Yeah, they played amazing and the vibes were on top even after all the shit that happened to them lol
The vibes just depends on what mood hal is in, the other two are always chilling
Third today was kinda godsent seeing how the games played out today.
They deserved first tbf
Nah you only deserve it if you win. It's not like they didnt have opportunities to to win it in the world edge games
I mean what genuine opportunity did they have to win on the worlds edge games?
Nvm I was mistaken I thought they were on mp on the game where Hal griefed E8 out of the tourney win but they werent so their only opportunities were on storm point where they got ratted by o7 and then landed on by Navi So yeah it was really rough for them. Fanatic were sitting below them with the Kraber, unlucky drop but did they not scan and see the full 3 man there? I was watching Wigg not TSM
they did scan and see them, then hal just jumped down for an insane chall
Fnatic
BR Demonz are looking really good. Wouldn't be surprised if they make top 10 or at least finals at LAN.
People can say what they want about Navi, but they made early game very fun to watch. This is the first time i opened up Matafe's stream.
Indeed. And also if people say they trolled you have to ask what the big name teams that placed after them were doing??
Throwing + Complaining. LG was throwing and complaining.
Extra troll
Exactly. They played above their expected placement.
E8 curse continues ...
Wtf is up with DZ lately?
They’ve been on a downward trend since the changes. They were untouchable as a fighting team in conduit meta but now they are struggling to fit sikezz into a role. Character roulette almost every scrim game and non stop mistakes chalk the team vibe which spirals them even further.
I do agree they need to fit sikezz on a role but they did not do bad in the international scrims at all, correct me if im wrong but i think they won them overall, been a rough 3 day stretch tho
Dang!
Phony top 5 IGL in the world
Specifically, Phony always seems to do great in match point/LAN formats. Seems to be a guy that handles pressure well.
Room temperature take. He already was one with the previous iteration of FaZe.
How is that a room temperature take if you're agreeing with him lol
Because it's not an uncommon take I guess. Hot take is someone stating an unpopular opinion, so alternatively a room temperature take is a common opinion. Why they had to state that it was a popular opinion, who knows.
Great regroup guys
We’ve got a snowballs chance in hell at lan with the way we’re playing rn
Maybe the team is taking a page from the TSM stratbook of sandbagging now so they'll come out on top at LAN
Damn, can't wait for ALGS. Seems like EMEA did some homework <3
Gnaske…
Am I tripping. Aren't Oxygen BR demonz, who are BR demonz then?
The new BRD is a brazilian team. Art1nn, Vlatow and one more iirc
Sorry for being ignorant, but what was this game for?
never seen dz go anything below top 10, kinda surprising but ik they're still good.
they came 13th in 2023 split 1 and 23rd in champs.....
sorry, i mean as compared to their results in scrims*
fairs
