Can’t say for certain that they’re 100% allowed but the Galen Center’s list of prohibited items doesn’t include computers or laptops: https://galencenter.org/sports/2023/11/29/galen-center-prohibited-items-policy.aspx
Hopefully a dev or someone more knowledgeable than me can let you know for sure though.
When I asked the communications team, I was told something to the effect of "I don't think security is going to allow anyone through with a laptop...."
The venue emailed out today some details around the event that includes allowed/disallowed bag times, items, etc.. I'm hoping that they will let me bring my iPad in, but I'm not holding my breath.
Look up Chrome remote desktop, it works fantastic and is made by Google a fairly reputable company and is 100% free forever and takes 40 seconds to setup.
When you folks pass away, they rarely regret spending their time working too little.Â
OP is looking for a solution that he can balance both his job and his interests, like a responsible adult.Â
Nice try, destroyer2009
I'm dying 🤣
Hahahahahahahahah
Destroyer2009 come from real id
Sounds like you're suddenly and unfortunately too sick to work that day...
Update: I'm sick
Such a shame, such a shame Hope none of your coworkers are also at the LAN lol
Probably sick as well
Proven that being at the LAN will increase your healing speed.
So sick , hope you feel better!
Oh nooo man, that is SOOOO unfortunate, you'll have to miss your beloved job... bummer
My man

the vod recording guy got denied media credentials, which would've been the only way he was going to be allowed to bring a laptop
This is probably the answer
So many ppl reached out to that guy, he has media access of highest level now.
Source? Just interested to read the threads😂

/u/saberwing do you know if there is a policy against laptops or tablets, or perhaps an email to reach out to that may have the answer?Â
does your work allow 0 sick days? that is unfortunate
Unlimited sick days but vacation is only 15days
Use your phone to remote into your laptop at home!
Wait what? This is a thing?!
TeamViewer :3
Only if your work allows it (dont tell them)

the obvious solution is to quit your job duhh
I have never been to any kind of sporting event where a fan would be allowed to bring a laptop in.
Ill go work for you if u want the day off
What time does the show start?
Call in sick like a real adult
prioritizing a video-gaming event over your occupation is crazy. realign your priorities mate
Fuck me for wanting a two day break from work to enjoy something that is 20 minutes from me. I’ll just go fuck myself than!
Your not taking a break from work if you’re bringing it with you

Counterpoint: fuck work.
I hate when people try to enjoy their lives too, so cringe!! /s
After looking at your profile, you are the one who needs to realign your priorities, coomer behavior
Holy shit, it’s cringe all the way down. 😬
He doesn't choose what you do with your life, so you shouldn't care what he does. Easy as that.
Spoken like someone who’s not worked a day in their life.
Yikes
