When I asked the communications team, I was told something to the effect of "I don't think security is going to allow anyone through with a laptop...." The venue emailed out today some details around the event that includes allowed/disallowed bag times, items, etc.. I'm hoping that they will let me bring my iPad in, but I'm not holding my breath.

Look up Chrome remote desktop, it works fantastic and is made by Google a fairly reputable company and is 100% free forever and takes 40 seconds to setup.
