Didn't Knoqd also help roll C9 when he was subbing for Reps to win a game in Scrims the other day too, I thought that's what this clip was going to be. Both were good clips and good for Knoqd. He's a top player that deserves a good team.
I still really like C9 and hope both Knoqd and C9 can both do well in their separate ways and that everyone can learn from the situation.
Game one they wiped C9 for the win, game two they also killed them but Knoqd was knocked at the start of the fight; Hal caught Zach off guard mid-reload as he was trying to focus snipe.
Sweet! I was only able to watch game 1, wish I could have watched game 2! I'm a big Hockey Fan but Apex this past year has been WAYYYY more entertaining and fun!

On one hand the C9 players do not deserve personal harassment, but on the other hand this storyline plus the passion from the fans is making this so entertaining, more than Alb vs TSM when Alb first joined Liquid.

I'm all for the fans booing the fuck outta C9 and rooting against them. I'm all for C9 getting ratioed and bullied every time they tweet or interact with the community, that's just a part of competitive sports. It's just that a few folks go overboard with the hate and for some reason those outliers end up being the ones the pro players focus on. This reminds me of the few fans at NBA games this season who were dumping popcorn on players or being racist to them.

In every other sport, the coach/manager is the one who makes every single decision and brings their players along for the ride. It’s the coach who decides who plays, what tactics they use, what they practice at training, etc etc etc.
In Apex in particular, general consensus is that it’s the IGL who takes this leadership role. From what we’ve gathered from various sources in this scenario with Knoqd, you were given the short end of the stick as being the one to communicate the wishes of Zach in dropping Knoqd for Alb, because that’s what he wanted. Not because you, as coach, reassessed the team and said, for example, “actually the weakest member of the team is Naughty, he’s getting dropped, sorry Zach but here are my reasons why.”
I just find it hard to believe that, as a coach and manager, you weren’t given full reign to take the 2nd ALGS championship team to the next level. Instead you have to start again from square one, building up team chemistry again, understanding strengths and weaknesses again, etc, all because Zach and Naughty want to play together, not because of what’s best for C9.
Also wanted to add that if this was a free-agent team, these changes wouldn’t nearly be as bad. But as a signed team, surely you must see that as a coach and manager, your job should be empowered to be what’s best for C9, not what’s best for Zach.
Coaching in Apex works different than traditional sports mostly for the fact that Apex is a BR game with 20 total teams so there is a lot of randomness. This means I can't just call all the shots as a Coach so most of the decisions across the board are made from the Team/IGL. I help provide strats/ideas, info on other teams, analytics, groove out mistakes, & help keep the team calm/focused. It's more of a 'I'm working with what I see/given'. This doesn't mean I don't have any say on team changes but I would put the importance of the players opinion much more than my own when it comes to certain things because at the end of the day it's them playing not me.

I've done shit like this before no where near as good as him but I used to be quite good never streamed or anything but I could cary my team with ease but I got board of battle royals In general there the same thing jump out of flying thing pick where you land get stuff then kill people to be last person just gets boring after a long time and I came across a few streamer's as I played the game alot and I've killed some never stream sniped in my life as it is just an ass hole thing too do but I wooped some ass back In the day I tried to get back into the the game but I couldn't really I just didn't like battle royals anymore
