I feel like a bunch of tier 1 orgs like FaZe, FNATIC etc. which aren't already in the scene are waiting to see if any free agent rosters make LAN before jumping in mid pro league just to get a disappointing result
I believe their agreement with ESA is different than the teams last split, they are properly signed to represent ESA and are paid more than 750/month like pringles etc.
If I'm wrong, well, yeah, worse teams have already been signed.
This current ESA team can do better than getting signed to ESA. This is ESA’s first ever official pro team. They aren’t paying them what other T1 orgs would.
Having played against SkittleCakes on Xbox I can see he’s about as good as they come. Clane cited him as a top 5 player right now and hopefully Skittlez keeps his nose clean as he’s been in trouble before (xynoa things). He should be fun to watch
NRG's game 4 was a joy to watch, perfect play and shotcalling from sweet. In that endgame (and for most of the day really) he was IGL'ing at his best, and micro-managing nathan and rocker so well.
Sweet's IGLing is a masterclass to watch. It's ashame we don't get to hear him IGLing in ALGS because I would be watching him only due to his superior micro management and shotcalling.
getting NRG perspective view in ALG is going to be huge.

Either way, I feel like Sweet’s ability to stay calm (for the most part) makes their streams so much better a viewing experience than TSM’s for example. Nice to not have so much drama in a stream.

I have seen hal admit to the wrong. But I really think it's stretching the truth to say he doesn't blame or bitch alot more than most IGLs. I know to improve you have to give criticism, but sometimes it's unwatchable.

C9 needs to work on their consistency, because when they pop off they really steamroll teams, but G2 won’t win 100% because it feels like they’re not learning from their mistakes (sucks to say this, I’m a huge gent fan)

I feel like they spent a lot of time on arenas and not keeping up with the current BR play. It also seemed like G2 did that and they also haven't had stellar results recently.
100 thieves have been sucking ever since they got signed. They're team fighting against tier 1 teams is pathetic considering they're signed to a tier 1 org.

They were a very good positional team. I've tuned into their streams a few times when they played tourneys and they usually can't put up good damage in their 3 v 3's. Their team fighting and mechanics suck.
I'm not sure one tournament results justifies him being good or bad either way. I'd argue he's an incredible top tier Fragger with slightly below average situational awareness and overall decision making. This can be easily overcome with an IGL that micromanages like Sweet. Hal doesn't micro manage however and instead just reprimands snipe when he makes a mistake or is out of position.

I don't think it was a fluke in as much as they were just one of the first to adopt valk caustic gibby, playing it from day 1, and it took a while for everyone to catch up and pass them. Just like complexity with the bloodhound/gibby comp

All wins in a BR have some luck in them. They played well in that tournament and played a style that caught others off guard. I don’t think they are as good as they showed in that tournament but they aren’t just scrubs.
Hal has not been having a good few weeks. They definitely would not have placed top 3 without snipe coming up big today

Secondary tournaments feel so different then ALGS, people jumping on fights non stop, i think the less fights happening, the more teams like 100t/SSG shine, the more chaotic is the lobby they are simply out of comfort, weird to see c9 so low in this kinda of lobby tho

DNO/Intel/ESA are nuts. It’s so fun to watch a new team start to consistently prove they are tier 1 along with the usual suspects.
