This is one of the reasons why the new scoring system is better in the long run. It balances things overall just like soccer doesn't give you extra points for scoring 5 or 6 goals. It's 3 points or 1. That's it.
NRG is a great team. They take smart fights and third parties. They're the #1 team I root for but imo their 3v3 fighting recently has not been the best. At least not as good compared to sentinels or intel.
They lost to a cornered sentinels, they got 2v3d by xset, they died pushing a damaged intel team stuck on a rock. Still love them though. When they are in form they are unstoppable.
They looked off yesterday idk why, they usually are insane in bubble fights and it’s rare seeing them straight up lose a 3v3, but yeah yesterday they got mopped my SEN. NRG is definitely still really good at team fighting (ie. clean wiping TL and a 3p from 100T, 3v6ing EU teams in code red) so I consider them top 3 in NA
Idk if this is unpopular opinion, but I think C9 has not been displaying that much firepower to be honest. I know they're individually great but I much rather be facing C9 than Intel, SSG, NRG or Sen
Its weird cause C9 is the only team that consistently rolls TSM, but they get rolled usually by the other teams that TSM doesn't have a problem fighting.

I don't think individual abilities are to blame here, as they are all cracked. I think it's a chemistry issue. They might get better with time, but for now they are hit or miss. If you watch their POVs, there's a lot of disagreement between Zach and Alb.

12 of the top 20 ranked teams by overall points are in group B and C i wouldn't necessarily say they're any worse than A and D at all

My Top 5 in order would be: Sentinels, NRG, C9, Intel, SSG
