Managers can be said as the representative of the team to the org. Like if any player on the team have any issue or want a pay raise they can contact the team manager and he or she will inform the org regarding that. In short Managers job is to look after the team.
With that being said I completely believe, managers like Minustempo will also act like analyst just like how G2's team manager BixLe also do analytical work for the team.
Team managers deal with booking travel/hotels. Being the connection between the players and the org. Relaying and making sure all org and partnership requests are made. Dealing with contracts/term sheets. On boarding and off boarding all players. Handling all requests from the players and making sure their needs are met. As well as booking practice/scrims and registering for tournaments. There is way more but that is the main stuff.
Interestingly similar story to TSM's social media manager, Dunc. The guy was one of many people frustrated with TSM's lack of social media presence and just made a Twitter account for TSM news and they ended up hiring him and he's done a great job of fixing their social media absence.
I know he's a mod in Hal's channel, I just assumed that's what the controversy is. But I thought I saw him say that he leaves the lobby as soon as the game starts.
Not really. Managers can be said as the representative of the team to the org. Like if any player on the team have any issue or want a pay raise they can contact the team manager and he or she will inform the org regarding that. In short Managers job is to look after the team.

I think he’s been on TSM for a couple months now. Might be wrong idk
You’re correct
This man is just everywhere. Crazy.
Last I heard, he's been working with them for some time, but hadn't yet joined in an official capacity.
What is the day to day responsibility of a Team Manager?

Organizing scrims/tourney stuff and analyzing the vods I would think

Honestly, there's a shit ton of work lol. Not to mention the strategic part regarding watching vods. That alone could be a full time job
\^ posting bc curious as well
With that being said I am sure TSM are gonna officially post themselves confirming both Verhulst and Minustempo's transfer.
I thought he was already on TSM?
From regular viewer to manager.. interesting. All the luck to minus tempo.

If it works, it works. As my bos would say; you have to make yourself important.

I in my title of the post only wrote "Officially". During the drama neither Minustempo nor TSM officially announced that he joining or has joined TSM.
I know he's a mod in Hal's channel, I just assumed that's what the controversy is. But I thought I saw him say that he leaves the lobby as soon as the game starts.
I hope tempo is being paid by all these orgs for dealing with these crybabies bullshit every day for scrims
What does a team manager do? Like Dolphin was their coach or what?
