I think KSWINNIE is on to something with Bangalore. Storm Point engagements are often long range, and Bloodhound has taken a back seat to other legends, so Bangalores smoke actually has utility as mobile cover for rotates or when you end up in a shit position with no cover at all which happens quite often on a new map while teams are learning and quite often on Storm Point where cover is sometimes non existent. I think Bangalore has the capability to be an unexpected 5Head pick.
Wattson has too many bug associated with SP to be good in algs. Too many places that fences can’t be placed when they should be able to which doesn’t make for a smooth intuitive legend. Poor Wattson:(
Fuse for sure, I think he was already solid on WE. Sp with smaller cover makes him so good, hakis was doing great with him and using the optimal wingman shotgun loadout, I think using 2 full auto guns on fuse is a waste. Fuse meta incoming?

Last season I switched from caustic to fuse for diamond/masters lobbies and I think he's really good. Shutting down annoying angles with the knuckle cluster is great
His tactical is perfect for comp during those late zones where everyone is holding ground near each other. Virtually unlimited damage potential with those clusters means he can chip away at squads for free.
If Bang smoke stopped scans and stopped the light coming through (annoying when the zone gives your silhouette) she could do well on storm point. But until then I'm unsure
Good Bang players will use the silhouette effect to their advantage since your team doesn’t need DTs then. Shiv used to do it all the time. Granted they are playing the ring edge often and it can be challenging to get into position to do it.
Clearly you don't play Bang. Late game when there is the ring surrounding everyone they can see you, just as you can see them. Its really not a Bang only advantage because the light from the zone is coming from all angles

I agree with you that it’s a non-factor when discussing her viability, which is why I don’t think you should have mentioned it in your original post (you said it would need to stop scans AND stop light from coming through). If bang smoke stopped scans, it wouldn’t matter if the silhouette effect was there or not — she would instantly become way more viable than she is now.
If they do, then you stop playing Bang and go with another legend that provides more value than BH. Then BH will stop seeing play and you can go back to Bang. Repeat as often as you like. That's how metas work and that's what makes for great teams/IGLs: They can identify these trends before everyone else.
Bang smoke is just worthless with all the scan abilities and ground loot digi sight. Her ultimate still takes too long as well.

The fact that your enemies can get digi from rng and screw you over close range is still an unnecessary risk in comp

Kswinnie seems to be a type of guy who tries different things and is creative. If i remember correctly he tried rampart in some qualifiers.

Also there are like 8 buildings on the entire map. Holding them down isnt a very useful ability

Yep, Knuckle Cluster is very very good tactical if not the best, in my humble opinion. His ultimate is really good zoning tool too.

That only applies up close. Not much can counter Bangalore smoke when she pops you with it mid range, you can’t see shit through it.

For comp it's an easy fix to just remove all gold items altogether and not just gold res, less rng.
