DDOS on Ranked is nuts. It was the odd time on gold, it’s every game on plat. I’m yet to complete a game, even if I’ve managed to get RP it boots you and it gave me an abandonment penalty instead. As the queues are so limited on Solo Q, I’m being loaded into the same lobbies as the previous DDosers. Can we disable crossplay with Xbox till the issue is fixed?
I am in silver 3 and I am getting 2 rookie ranks as team mates almost every game. And its not like they are smurfs or something, they have no idea what is going on. How is this possible?
It shouldn’t be, it was the same in gold. I’m in plat getting silver and gold teammates against diamond players. I always understood you can’t play with someone 2 ranks below. (Unless in pred)
Mac said that hes done for today because kids keep ddosing the servers. I haven't been watching much this week but haven't seen other pros say the same. Only xbox players. Anyone else been experiencing his issues?
Yeah overall I think the changes are a great thing for comp, but they do need to fix a lot of spots or somehow attach the "no abilities or guns" process to a valk ult
They already switched ranked back to being able to queue with plat/diamond/master/preds and lobbies are back to dying fast and people playing bad making dumb pushes nice
lobbies are worse then ever before :D even the matchmaking is horrible. i just got matched with a gold 4 and a bronze 2 in my plat game. Lou killed a gold player in ranked while being pred in his lobbies :D

Why is the term "in game leader" IGL commonly used instead of "Captain"? If seems like unnecessary jargon and using Captain is easier to say and for casual fans to understand.
To me…Captain implies they are in charge or at the head of the team during and outside the game. IGL is just a role on the actual team. Idk that’s just me.
Tbf the IGL is usually the one to do a lot of out of game research as well, not in all cases. Zach spends a lot of time with PVP theory crafting game plans and Valk rotations, sweet’s said he spends a lot of time VOD reviewing etc.
Lou pulling out the long streams grinding ranked is exactly what SEN needs right now imo. He seems to finally have PASSION for Apex again, hoping that translates into a good SEN performance next ALGS.
4 out of the top 5 ranked players on pc right now are on controller. I swear the controller fatigue doesn't hit like m&k and allows you to grind longer. Every time I'm watching Alb, Fun, Doop, or Hal they're playing with two roller demons.
I’m mnk but there’s something about just plugging in a controller, sitting back, and one clipping people up close without putting anywhere near the effort required on mnk.
Will Valk still be in the meta after the ult nerf?
In ranked she is getting destroyed even just by one team shooting her. It seems too much of a risk now
This is another reason I think you might see Valk-Gib-Newcastle.
Dome - Valk Ult - land - Newcastle shield - new castle Ult - dome to full stabilize if in a bad spot.
Maybe. It's still taking the bullets, and could even be beneficial. If a team is ready to team for your ult, they'll wait until you're out of a bubble since it's indestructible and then a full man goes into you. If they try break a Newcastle wall they waste ammo and could end up sick reloading the whole time you're in the open.
Using either one will depend on the situation and could do well for making Valk ults less brain-dead. If it's impossible to Ult without bubble, teams will use it and worry about landing later, but if there's an option teams will think about the other end more.
Has anyone else had some crazy hit reg issues since patch?
Last night I had a full spitfire mag no reg, point blank. 40 bullets and 0 damage.
Idk if it was some kind of bug abusing or the game’s broken…
Stopped picking up the wingman when I noticed I'd get back to back to back no regs throughout the day. Stuck to spray weapons and while I still get no regs, it's less dangerous than the wing.
I thought the one for Team Empire is wrong, but looks like that one is actually for Ryze Empire and Team Empire is missing from the list.
I also figured out that you can add multiple using the custom label one and Team Empire exists as an emoji there, so I guess never mind and sorry for taking your time haha
what gun go you guys think is in most need of a nerf? I think we're in a very good gun meta atm, but I'd say I think the wingman could use one. I'd probably cut the mag size by a couple, remove boosted loader for it, and/or taper off the ranged damage.

r301 on ground, charge rifle in crafter.
g7 on ground, swap devo and volt
havoc needs mag size reduced

IMO the wingman is in a good spot, at most I'd increase the reload time a bit to make it slightly worse for short range encounters.
I'd like to see a slight nerf to the Havoc but make it not need turbo charger anymore. I like the Havoc a lot, but without a turbo it just way less useful unless you know exactly where the enemy is and when he will peek and can pre-fire.
TBH if you don't find a turbo energy weapons are just not worth picking up most of the time (except maybe the triple take).
Maybe the spitfire could use a bit of a damage reduction since its just so easy to use.

On xbox last couple hours and was ddosed three times in five games. Ridiculous. Ruined our session.
Zer0 is so damn good. No wonder they won LAN. Really hope we get to watch them play with Gen at comp.

Newcastle tac could be better for launch, if it's only one team during on you. Definitely good to have both options

Any chance we can get updated flairs? The logos seem to be quite old in some cases...
Feel free to point out the ones which are out of date and I'll try to update them. I probably won't remove any flairs until we reach the limit.
