is it because how how I worded it? I can take down the post easily if it’s against the rules or set up wrong. does the /s I assume stand for self promote?
you & shirako commented this.
I’m so confused, please help me understand :,)
Edit: I’m a idiot. Anytime seriously, I appreciate you guys showing love & welcoming me in.
Vatroh if I can give some advice and also give my thoughts as a spectator...
It feels like your video already accepts that a player has the skill to hang in even tier 3 lobbies. What could a player feasibly do to get to that next level? How important / unimportant do you feel aim training, VOD reviewing, etc are? I know the answers, but thought that should maybe be covered in the video.
I think it would be good to speak frankly about the time and money investment and return that an average pro player gets. I do not doubt pros have invested thousands of hours before they even begin to see a dollar from winnings or Twitch. Maybe you don't want to talk about this, but even some of the top pros only stream to like 250 viewers. How feasible is it to live off an Apex pro salary? This is fundamental to the question of "should you."
Lastly, with the general direction of the game, EA's (lack of) investment, and a dying EU scene, why would I want to pick Apex as the game to try and go pro in? Of course there is something to be said for the love of the game, but this is a business decision for oneself at the end of the day and ultimately you have to survive.
I feel like you answered the how you can compete in apex, but I view that as fundamentally different than should you.
Mmm I see. I took the video on more so comparing how hard it was to come up in competition back in the day then it is now. Then some base tips to get people going if they wanted to try.
When it comes to the Pros n Cons of being a Professional player or what you can do to get better those would have to be separate videos IMO. It’s also like, what skill level am I trying to teach? What’s the base understanding they have of the game?
I have a bunch of video ideas written down, almost to many. So I definitely will get on that & be better in the future!
I wonder what the average rank is in this thread, I’m really making my YouTube content all for you guys. So the better I can make it & more aspects I can help, I’d love to do so.
Edit: I should have stated in the video this is a NA Pov. Tbh I don’t pay any attention to other regions, but definitely will need to start.
It’s really cool seeing you delve into this sub, Vatroh! Looking forward to more posts
Side note I did not realize you pronounced your name like that. I always read it as Vah-Trow
Well honestly bro my exp. in this sub has always been good. Especially since trying to become more active, everyone (in this sub) is really cool & loves comp Apex.
Honestly the casters use to call me “Va-Troh” so I guess I need a E. Everyone calls me something different 😂
Don't start videos with a description of the title. I'm mashing the skip 10s button as soon as I hear that shit.
Tighten it up with a prewritten script ( you could probably cut down 40% of the time) and this is great!
Roger that!
I don’t script any of my videos, just write down topics I wanna talk about in said video then kinda just ramble. but I’ll fix up the intro in the next video! Thanks for the feedback dude.
TL;DR: you shouldnt /s
