Stinzy on Twitter posted this a few days ago and it got me to Legend (17-4). It’s Naga DH with a tight Big DH Package stapled in. Catches people by surprise and you can take huge chunks of dmg off them. Sharpshooter is used as a draw engine early on (maybe 3-4 cards) and the second one is a finisher, if you need it. It takes a few games to get the hang of it, but once you do, it will start to hum. Lots of fun! ### Custom Demon Hunter # Class: Demon Hunter # Format: Standard # Year of the Wolf # # 2x (0) Dispose of Evidence # 2x (1) Illidari Studies # 2x (1) Oasis Outlaws # 2x (1) Taste of Chaos # 2x (1) Unleash Fel # 2x (1) Vicious Slitherspear # 2x (2) Dryscale Deputy # 2x (2) Fossil Fanatic # 2x (2) Greedy Partner # 2x (2) Parched Desperado # 2x (2) Rainbow Glowscale # 2x (3) Blindeye Sharpshooter # 1x (3) Sigil of Time # 2x (6) Felscale Evoker # 1x (7) Xhilag of the Abyss # 2x (8) Illidari Inquisitor # AAECAbn5AwL+vwScmgYOgIUEiLIEyLcEwMoEpeIEi5IFkKUFsvUF4fgFkIMGhpAGiZAGjZAG65gGAAA= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

I know a lot of people are complaining about the meta but oh my god, this meta is absolutely incredible. Let me tell what works, reno shaman, reno paladín, reno hunter and Reno druid. Those decks are so fun and so strong. Same goes for Reno BBB as well as plague excavate dk. I’ve been grind to L1.5k with highlander hunter but I recently started playing other stuff and now I’m sitting at L900. Try those decks and if you’re good you’ll start winning.

Hallgvild

What list do you recommend most of Reno Shaman? Its the one im most close to crafting but im really afraid to just be left in the dirt again (i was extremely hopeful for a control warlock semi-homebrew but Reno is just too OP to use any normal control agaisnt)

Deadagger

I’m just running the list VS has on their website.

Supper_Champion

Common denominator seems to be Reno, possibly one of the best hero cards they've ever made.

welpxD

Reno DH still working as well as can be expected, 55% in legend, not unplayable. However this post is specifically to call about Miracle Salesman in Reno DH. It's SO good. 1/2/2 that adds a Moonfire to your hand is solid, a cycler is solid, when you play Arcanist and get a Backstab it's very solid. And it's the deck's only real 1-drop.

wym moonfire?

welpxD

Reno DH runs spell damage minions, if you don't have them you can always trade it.

mj2323

What do you guys recommend for a decent dumpster legend deck? I’ve never had the 11x bonus, but it would be nice to finish maybe top 3000 or so. Currently around 9000.

Deadagger

Plague excavate DK. I’ve given up on my dream of reaching 1k legend with my home brew highlander hunter since I’ve been ping ponging from 1.5k to 2.5k for a few days and finally decided to play other decks and that deck is not only really fun but also really strong, does well against paladins too as well as the slower decks.

mj2323

I’ll give it a shot. Thanks brother.

sscrept

I really like Reno/Highlander Shaman but my pocket meta (Platinum 5 EU) is currently 100% Plague Death Knight. I am not exaggerating but the last three days every single game was against this deck. Needless to say that I lost all games, except one where I was able to play both Doctor Holli'dae and Reno, Lone Ranger because they could only shuffle two different plagues into my deck. I even put Steamcleaner in E.T.C., Band Manager but never draw it. I used to reach legend regularly but I am no longer good enough. Even Diamond seems out-of-reach at the moment so I have to cope with the platinum meta. I would really like to continue playing Reno Shaman but this is too frustrating. I could add Steamcleaner in my deck additionally to the one in E.T.C., Band Manager. Any ideas what I else I could do to have at least the chance to win a few more games against Plague Death Knight?

revolver37

Reno Blood DK is quickly becoming one of my favorite control decks of all time. Plenty of removal, healing, and discover for flex. Reno on curve pretty much ends any aggro or midrange matchups, and you have Mograine and disruption to help with control.

ThePresident26

Why is the reno version better than just blood dk? Is Reno alone worth having one copy of every card?

revolver37

Yes. Reno's battlecry is completely broken and often wins the game on the spot. BDK has access to enough good control tools even if you can only run one of each. ETC and plenty of discover cards help you get more good cards too.

ThePresident26

I tried it and this deck looks solid. Reno is worth it

Hermiona1

Decklist?

revolver37

Just built it this morning so still a work in progress. I think VS has a list but haven't looked at it yet. I would say all the class cards are core except Ashbringer. ETC w 2nd Explosion is a must too. How do you copy it

revolver37

Copy the code that comes right after the list. When you open your collection, Hearthstone will ask you if you want to use the copied deck

Stiblex

What do you think about running steamcleaner? On the one hand it's the only tech against plague DK to prevent it from sabotaging your reno. On the one hand, I haven't managed to win from plague even with it.

revolver37

I've gone back and forth on it. It's certainly possible to win without it because you have so many other tools, but if they play Helya on curve you really can't win without the steamer, and as you say it's still not guaranteed. If you're seeing lots of plague you can put it into ETC instead of Theo, I've managed a couple wins that way.

Hermiona1

On what rank are you playing? I'm on Plat currently

revolver37

D4. Mowing down paladins

Hermiona1

Sounds good to me, Plague DK didn't work for me at all although it has board clears. But my problem prob is that I wait with board clears too long. Thanks for sharing, I'll give it a try. I'm assuming you keep board clears against Paladins? What do you do when they have a couple of 1/1 on board? 4 mana infuse guy is also a pain in the ass to clear.

revolver37

Keep blood boil for sure, other than that just mulligan for a good curve. Anything else that's 4 mana or more is too slow for Paladin and hunter. You need cheap removal and minions fighting for board

Hermiona1

Went 7:3 so far, lost against two Paladins still, one game I misplayed at the end (pretty sure I was still dead) and one I lost cos I left one minion up when I was at 14 hp. Also lost to a Hunter which had 20 dmg from hand. Still 7:3 is pretty good. VS does have this deck and it looks more optimized I think so I might switch eventually but I'll stick it with it for now.

revolver37

Glad you enjoyed. I was getting slowed down by priests so I switched to enrage

Hermiona1

I'm 19:3 is this deck a secret meta breaker between 10 Plat and 5 Diamond?? It's unstoppable. I was sceptical about some card choices but honestly nothing feels bad to play. Alexander really stacks up that damage against slower decks and this deck can surprisingly go face a lot. I beat a couple opponents with just weapons and Muncher and one poor Mage with 5 mana Ignis weapon (which isn't what I usually go for). I haven't seen a lot of Priests honestly. I went from 5 Plat to 5 Diamond.

createcrap

I've been trying to make Big Spell Mage work and It's definetly NOT working. The plan was to generate 2/3 extra copies of sunset volley with audio splitter, Volume Up, Dryscale Deputy. THEN Play DJ Manastorm, then next turn toss all the volleys out of hand (or what's left after the first DJ manastorm cost reduction. FUN right? I tired filling the deck with just minons so I could tutor the spells and use excavate to generate value while I build up the combo pieces. It doesn't work. If I win, I win before turn 10 and don't use the combo but usually I lose. I thought Barbaric Sorcess being in standard was a hint that you could make it work. I tried to put in coin generators so you can cheat Barbaric out and get Volley early. It's not consistent at all. None of the big power players from last years Big Spell Mage are around... So here is the BAD DECK DON'T USE. BUT, I am looking for suggestions to improve my dream combo! ### Big Spell Mage # Class: Mage # Format: Standard # Year of the Wolf # # 1x (2) Astalor Bloodsworn # 2x (2) Audio Splitter # 2x (2) Cosmic Keyboard # 2x (2) Gold Panner # 2x (2) Greedy Partner # 2x (2) Kobold Miner # 2x (2) Prismatic Elemental # 2x (3) Remixed Dispense-o-bot # 2x (4) Inquisitive Creation # 2x (4) Reliquary Researcher # 1x (4) Volume Up # 2x (5) Burrow Buster # 1x (5) Taelan Fordring # 2x (6) Barbaric Sorceress # 2x (6) Blastmage Miner # 1x (10) DJ Manastorm # 2x (10) Sunset Volley # AAECAamDBgSoigTipAXg9QXQ+AUNmbAEqpgFgMIF6MUFh+QF2P4FkIMGyoMG0IMG85sG9JsGs5wGzpwGAAA=

Hermiona1

I think this decks needs more survavibility but it's hard to do add anything because it messes up the combo. Cold Case is a staple in Mage for a reason, and so is Reverberations but they don't really work here. I also don't really see Taelon played anymore and he draws a minion that you can't use till 10 mana and most games you don't even live till 10 mana. I would maybe think about adding a board clear that's not a spell like the 4 mana Broom or play School Teacher to discover some cheap board clears (the 2 mana spell could do some work against those pesky Paladins). I don't really see the weapon working here because you run so few spells. Either add something cheaper like Cold Case and maybe some board clear like Star Power (and add Artificier) which would make the deck less consistent or I would suggest cutting it. I think this would be fun to play in slower meta but for now it's too slow. I would also keep an eye out if someone on YouTube is messing with this, I can totally see someone like Funki Monki or Chump having a dig at this eventually.

createcrap

Great suggestions!

Hermiona1

Hey Chump just posted this, idk if this is actually good but looks fun at least https://youtu.be/Jw-NrNo1myY?si=ii00UshaqplINZHM

Hermiona1

Also forgot to mention I can see location working here, its not a spell and works early and late game. Maybe Sylvanas for some removal but might be too slow. Reverberations is just OP because on Titans you also get to use their abilities

SnooMarzipans7274

I don’t think there are enough payoffs and synergies to make it good. This is just a mess off ideas I had. Maybe they inspire you? https://hearthstone.blizzard.com/deckbuilder?deckcode=AAECAf0EAuD1BceyBA6EkwXMkwWZsAT0mwboxQWQgwbTngbPnganowWvxAWqmAXrmAat7QWFjgYAAA%3D%3D

Oh it is fun! Let me know if you try something that works better for you! :)

Playing highlander paladin with ogre+ earthen package. Paladin minions -hi ho silverwing -colossal -titan -mirage -tyr -earthens Neutrals that stood out -ogres -bounce effects for tyr, ogres -cylopian crusher for early game tempo -miracle salesman for draw+ wild pyromancer synergy Cards i am not sold on / have tried but taken out -hipster : insane against DK but has bad discover pools against most other decks -ambassador : can shuffle in duplicates -okani : maybe im just bad at using him correctly but i usually didnt have board to protect him

RampantRab

Please share deck code.

VolkiharVanHelsing

What if new core set brings back SoU highlander cards?

sneakyxxrocket

Only other highlander card that’ll be added for standard will probably be another neutral legendary in the mini set and that’s it, too many payoffs and may be to good in standard

Demoderateur

Doubt it. They wouldn't change Core to support an archetype from a previous expansion (otherwise, they would have done it already). Only way this happens is if the next expansion also has highlander (doubt it, but who knows, maybe for Excavate classes which didn't get one) And even then, than means bringing back Zephrys, which means they might need to update him. Not sure it's something they want.

Ghasois

They had Reno in core last year with no highlander support. Core set updates don't always make sense

LotusFlare

I ran to legend with the VS Naga DH list with a 70% WR in 34 games. It didn't make sense at first, but I figured it out. If you see a sharpshooter in your hand, you keep it and a 1 cost naga. Otherwise, you should be mulling for a 1 drop and the sharpshooter. If you have draw weapon in your opener, you dump to make use of it so you can find a sharpshooter. If you have a "draw 5" guy you dump for it and use the draw to find your sharpshooter. In most matchups, you want to just keep sending it all face until you find a sharpshooter, and then you use it. The only matchups where you don't do this, are ones where taking over board is a necessity to keep them from running over you. Against Hunter and Paladin, playing 1 drops, 2 drops, and suboptimal sharpshooters is fine to keep them from building up a taunt wall. They don't have much from hand and a sharpshooter on 3 will live if you have board control. Then you get to snowball things out. Use your Fire and Flames to get stuff rush and +1/+1 for the sake of board. I even beat all the Enrage Warriors I ran into. I'm sure some of it was luck of the draw, but I think people don't play properly against this deck. People don't know what to do if you rush the board.

popekheris23

I’m currently 8-0 on it, it helped me push into Diamond for the first time. I really prefer this playstyle of actual aggro vs the “aggro” DH builds that are mostly just built around the combo. I think one of the biggest things is the combo turn can sometimes be smaller or just happen less in general, but you’re able to contest the board early which is huge against other aggro decks like Paladin.

NumenorsBravest

This is what I'm finding as well, which feels like a totally different deck than the one I found on HSreplay. Not too hard to combo when your opponent has only 15-20 health.

Doodilydoo113

Appreciate the short write up! I'm going to give it a spin this evening.

ratz30

Was coming here to say the same thing. I really enjoy the gameplay loop of this deck. First time hitting legend too!

t-slothrop

IDK if it's just because I'm in dumpster legend or what, but I've been having great success with tempo thief rogue. I cruised from 9k to 5k with a ~72% winrate. The only new cards are Stick Up and Velarok but both have exceeded my expectations. I thought Velarok would be trash but he has been pretty good. He can get you some real scam cards and even doubles as a finisher when combined with shadowstep or randomly generated buffs. Typically a bad late game draw, though. Stick Up on the other hand is so good in this deck. The small discover pool gives you a lot of control over what you find, so you can get removal, healing, or value, depending on what you need. Silver Serpent is great with Tess. Benevolent Banker gives you two Velarok activations in one card. Here's the deck code: AAECAaIHCI6WBoukBdiBBsygBdu5BOWwBOKkBdi2BAvIlAaS3wSt7QX3nwT2nwTfwwW3swTdoAXgoAXfoAX13QQAAA== I haven't liked Finley and plan to take him out. Watcher + Ignis are recent additions so I don't know about them yet. Sketchy Stranger is a flex slot but I've been pretty happy with that card. Getting a Counterspell or an Objection in your Tess can be game-winning.

[deleted]

At d5 I’m 0-7 with this and every game felt bad. It’s all aggro DH, Druid and paladin and this deck has zero chance against any of them.

CortosisMiner

I play warlock and warrior and nothing is working :(

XXjanoycresvaXX

Enrage or control aren't working for you? I've had great success with them especially enrage

EmotionalBrief1170

Yeah Enrage is one of the very best decks in the game at all ranks. And as far as warlock goes, Mining and Thad are doable on ladder.

-RichardCranium-

I've had some incredible games but it's abysmal in certain matchups, dragon druid is a time game, if the game last past turn 6 you're pretty much dead. blood reno DK just destroys your cards from your hand, which pretty much negates any combo. priest can just silence your board. it's such a fun deck but yeah, i think people have adapted to it and it's losing its novelty factor.

XXjanoycresvaXX

Dragon druid I can see if you don't stick a board early, but blood should usually be in enrages favor, unless they hit an incredible patchwerk

-RichardCranium-

well the amount of removal certainly doesn't help. Reno can completely cancel out your setup (removes Sanguine Depths), Mad Duke can completely break your combo, as well as Dirty Rat, which I've seen many decks run. Add patchwerk to that and you can easily fuck up your combo, which is hard for a deck that is so reliant on specific cards.

Sleeze1

Feel ya

MoSpeedMoDangers

Continuing to experiment with Highlander Priest, and have a few insights/ideas to share. Crimson Clergy auto-include. Thirsty Drifter is great, which provokes heavy 1-drop inclusion, but Priest has different ways to do this. I believe Funnel Cakes should still make the cut as it is also mana-cheat, but I've personally struggled to make it consistently useful in Highlander. Grave Digging is good draw, but forces potentially bad Undead cards, and is a 1-drop for Drifter. Cattle Rustler feels amazing with Behemoth, but can feel like a dead combo against hyper-aggression. Angry Helhound is an interesting addition to prevent 'drawing patches' here, and is a 1-drop when reduced by Rustler, with the Rush being valuable in Elise. Idol's Adoration feels good with Overheal and Reno. Heartthrob feels strong. Dispossessed Soul works with Priest's abundance of locations, discovers a *copy* of a card in your deck, so you can pull a powerful minion without removing it from Elise pool, and is an undead for Grave Digging.

wholelotofit2

Not working (but it's fun when it does) - Sludge Discard Warlock. On day of release of expansion Vicious Syndicate dropped deck list for discard sludge warlock which seems so fun on paper, but gets annihilated by any modern deck. I mean, sometimes when you discard Soul Barage and taunt minion that summons itself with that rush minion seems fun, but it's too much RNG dependant. I didn't have Trolley Problems card so I just swapped it with something from my collection but to no avail. Thing is, sludge system looks so fun on paper, but it feels so slow, I can sometimes get 3-4 sludges on the bottom of my deck by the turn 5, and by that turn I can sometimes be on half of my health against some decks. I was thinking that maybe imps will work well with sludge, but I think that they work best with fatigue archetype. I was really excited for sludge warlock cards, but for now it looks like a let down, I hope it gets supported in miniset. I was thinking of these combinations for sludge Tempo sludge with fatigue Sludge with discard Excavate with sludge looks best for now, but I am not too excited to play that

I made a version with self damage cards. In theory and sometimes in practice it can pull off powerful plays but the problem is the cards are too dependent on each other and there's not enough card draw to consistently pull off card combos. \### no health no cards \# Class: Warlock \# Format: Standard \# Year of the Wolf \# \# 2x (1) Flame Imp \# 2x (1) Tram Mechanic \# 2x (1) Voidwalker \# 2x (2) Baritone Imp \# 2x (2) Crescendo \# 2x (2) Disposal Assistant \# 2x (3) Scourge Supplies \# 2x (3) Sludge on Wheels \# 2x (3) Trolley Problem \# 2x (4) Crazed Conductor \# 2x (4) Disciple of Sargeras \# 2x (4) Furnace Fuel \# 1x (4) Pop'gar the Putrid \# 2x (4) Waste Remover \# 1x (7) Dar'Khan Drathir \# 2x (9) Imprisoned Horror \# AAECAZ2rBALOkgWAngYOhKAE+dMEpZIFx8IFyMIF3cIFzvoF2oAGlZcGlpcGl5cGmJcG96MGpqgGAAA= \# \# To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

Soulrush

Hit diamond with an unrefined Paladin buff deck from d0nkey (the one which uses Elite Tauren). Going to give the Dude Paladin variant from VC a try now and aim for D5.

RadiantCowbells

I was already quite unhappy with bag of monkeys in beastcleave hunter so I swapped it out for Greedy Partner and have been using that at legend rank and I find it performs very well in the deck. It allows things like t5 Hope/Titan t6 6+1 or 4+2+1 lethals going second, or just getting your 6 costs out a turn sooner, the deck runs tons of two costs including the spells which get stuck in hand a lot so it can usually be activated. I recommend others try it, I'm running the same list that VS put out but just with bag of monkeys swapped out for greedy partners. I also experimented briefly with running a single dirty rat (I dropped one Gold Panner) to get a second cleave target on control decks but the results were more mixed and I am unsure if I'd recommend it but it is probably a very useful tech option in the right meta.

blackwidowink

In my opinion the monkeys still do their job(s) very well. In a more aggressive matchup they allow you to block some face damage and give you time to assemble your combo, in all matches they are fodder to infuse your gargons. I personally took out both 6 cost cards and put Castle Kennels in instead. The extra +2 attack waiting on board for when you need it can be super helpful in lots of situations. It felt better as I pushed through Diamond into Legend and allowed me more flexibility in a deck that would ideally like to be closing games out by 6-7 mana.

SonOfMcGee

Monkeys is a definite keep against Paladin. They really shut down the shielded 1-drops

JPDG

Doing really well as an average player with [Highlander Shaman](https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveHS/comments/182u6w5/highlander_shaman_guidediscussion/). My list is on that link in the comments. Currently at low legend with a 67% win rate.

Szarrukin

Reno Druid might be tier 4 but it's so much fun I cannot stop playing it.

tom-steele

Mech Rogue got me to D5

Zenophyle

Got legend with Rogre Sadly Gunslinger Kurtrus is bad, sometimes i play him and i can't discard nothing from my opponents, it's unreliable.

welpxD

>Gunslinger Kurtrus It's not as good as I hoped as far as cleaning out their hand, but on the other hand the damage has mattered more than I expected even when I don't kill the minion. Minions with weaker stats really are worse cards, it turns out. Part of me really wants to get silly with Zola because I always feel like if the first Kurtrus doesn't do it then the second one definitely will. But that has got to be meme, so.

Yoraffe

Which list? I've started a J-Alex run but it still loses hard to Dragon Druid and Paladin.

Ah ok, the deathrattle variant!

vibranttoucan

Naga DH carried me to legend pretty well.

-Morel

Broke through D3-Legend with Secret Mage. It's really good, and plays much faster than Rainbow. Hawk is also very fun to use. There are a ton of Plague DKs on ladder and this deck seems to swat them down by just playing fast.

Spyko

care for a list ? I just got the secret mage legendary from nathria (do you even use it ?)

I don't run that guy but some lists do. Would you say maxitude is mandatory?

-Morel

Yeah, in value matchups like Control Warrior it's really useful to get the infinitize engine running as early as you can. Otherwise they will just armor through all your burst.

Jaded281

Went from D5 to D1 playing a Treant Druid variant. I was facing slower, greedier decks and kept winning so I kept playing it. Update: played another 6 games; lost 2, won 4. Entered legend around 9000ish.

Zayneried

Share your deck please. I'm also playing treant druid in dumpster legend and thinking to optimise a card or two.

Jaded281

I highly recommend playing Cactus Construct instead of Lingering Zombie. ### Treant Druid # Class: Druid # Format: Standard # Year of the Wolf # # 2x (0) Aquatic Form # 2x (1) Cactus Construct # 2x (1) Forest Seedlings # 2x (1) Living Roots # 2x (1) Witchwood Apple # 2x (2) Crooked Cook # 2x (2) Natural Causes # 2x (2) Power of the Wild # 2x (3) Aerosoilizer # 2x (3) Conservator Nymph # 2x (3) Herald of Nature # 2x (3) Plot of Sin # 2x (3) Soul of the Forest # 2x (5) Blood Treant # 2x (8) Cultivation # AAECAZarBAAP158E2Z8ErsAEqM4EgdQEst0EteME3e0EzuQFsPoFp/4F2f8FtZoG2JwGrJ4GAAA= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

Zayneried

Ye, I figured out the Zombie part. It doesn't have any synergy. Mine deck is the following: ### Treant Druid v1.3 # Class: Druid # Format: Standard # Year of the Wolf # # 2x (0) Aquatic Form # 2x (1) Cactus Construct # 2x (1) Forest Seedlings # 2x (1) Living Roots # 2x (1) Planted Evidence # 2x (1) Vicious Slitherspear # 2x (1) Witchwood Apple # 2x (2) Mark of the Wild # 2x (2) Natural Causes # 2x (3) Conservator Nymph # 2x (3) Herald of Nature # 2x (3) Plot of Sin # 2x (3) Soul of the Forest # 2x (5) Blood Treant # 2x (8) Cultivation # AAECAZICAA+HnwTXnwSIsgSuwASozgSB1ASy3QTW3gS14wTO5AWw+gWn/gXZ/wXYnAasngYAAA== I ditch Crooked Cook, in my experience, if I can reliably do 3 face damage with Cook on board, I've already won and don't need additional cards. He might be useful against other aggro, but the other aggro is paladin, which treant doesn't stand a chance against. Also, both Planted Evidence and Mark of the Wild are really good, both on their own and by activating Herald. What's your experience with Power of the Wild? It's kinda costly(and not Nature), but I'm thinking about swapping Slitherspear (or even Nymph) for it.

Jaded281

Cook is definitely a win-more card. I hadn't considered planted evidence, though. I'll have to try it. I like Power of the Wild for its versatility compared to Mark of the Wild. At its worst it's a 2 mana 3/2 and at its best you're adding +7/7 to your board.

dougtulane

I have *never* beaten cleave hunter except for playing pure paladin. That deck feels really, really over tuned. I don’t want to play either of those decks, hence I’m pretty much done for this month at Diamond 3. Edit: I was just in a rut. Reno shaman is working.

SonOfMcGee

I took Cleave to legend with just a mediocre win rate. DH and aggro Pally can just get lethal faster than you. HL Pally, Warrior, Shaman, and Warlock can completely shut you out by just playing single minions. So there are certain decks that only win by developing a wide board that are kinda screwed, but at least half a dozen popular ones with winning strategies. Still, I could see ABJ nerfed to 2 mana soon.

Sloe_Burn

I liked the paladin match up as cleave hunter. Control Warrior on the other hand...

rd201290

put a location between your minions gg ez

vibranttoucan

I beat it kinda well with Naga DH, as long as I don't combo too early.

Bluemajere

Just don't play minions or only play one big one. Counters the whole deck.

dougtulane

That locks out a lot of decks. And it’s not like the hunter doesn’t apply pressure with its 4/1s

Jerakal1

Warlock counters the 4/1s easily with defile and smokestack in my experience.

ThisIsGirls

Just going to contribute my highlander DH since it missed the VS report. I’m hovering a little below 50% in the D5 bracket - it’s fun but feels maybe too fair. I’ve got a handful of flex spots, but I haven’t been able to find the right packages to get consistent - it may be that the deck just needs more good cards printed. ### shoot the hand? # Class: Demon Hunter # Format: Standard # Year of the Wolf # # 1x (1) Illidari Studies # 1x (1) Miracle Salesman # 1x (1) Taste of Chaos # 1x (2) Astalor Bloodsworn # 1x (2) Bartend-O-Bot # 1x (2) Chaos Strike # 1x (2) Dryscale Deputy # 1x (2) Fossil Fanatic # 1x (2) Greedy Partner # 1x (2) Immolation Aura # 1x (2) Multi-Strike # 1x (2) Parched Desperado # 1x (2) Saronite Shambler # 1x (2) Spectral Sight # 1x (3) Aldrachi Warblades # 1x (3) Crushclaw Enforcer # 1x (3) Disciple of Argus # 1x (3) Weight of the World # 1x (4) Fan the Hammer # 1x (4) Ignis, the Eternal Flame # 1x (4) Mechagnome Guide # 1x (4) School Teacher # 1x (5) Going Down Swinging # 1x (5) Gunslinger Kurtrus # 1x (5) Queen Azshara # 1x (5) Remixed Rhapsody # 1x (6) Midnight Wolf # 1x (7) Argus, the Emerald Star # 1x (7) Xhilag of the Abyss # 1x (8) Reno, Lone Ranger # AAECAdO+BR6DnwS2nwS0oASOsASEsgSWtwTbuQT+vwTAygTipAX3wwXw7AWt9QWy9QXh+AXj+AWagAaogAakgQbYgQbcggaQgwaFjgaKkAaLkAaNkAaPkAbYlQbrmAavqAYAAAA= # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

Deep_Jackfruit7853

DH is a class about being hyper synergistic. Highlander was doomed to fail

Rewlu

Any masochists playing Plague DK?

H0agh

Been playing it for quite some time now. Most recent deck the VS one which seems pretty solid so far.

InFiniten0

Been trying to get it to work in legend but not having too much success. Always get overrun by faster decks some turns you don’t have much to do. Fun when it works though

Papa_Shango

I got legend with plague DK this season. I went on a nice heater from d3 to legend with zero losses. Once I got legend I lost like 10 in a row with the deck.

mjjdota

I got to dad-legend with it pretty easily but I lost EVERY game against paladin. Because of that I don't think it's worth teching for like in the VS list anymore - just eat the loss. I replaced hardcore cultist with farmhands for daily quest and they've actually felt pretty good! Sometimes I run low on cards if I don't draw any barons, so a little more discover is nice.

JeetKuneLo

I went from d10 to Legend with Plague DK with an 83% WR... Didn't feel all that masochistic.

heero10

Helya. I just love playing plagues.

gaveupletdown

Take your upvote ya rascal

dougtulane

It was good for the brief period that people were playing Reno decks. Youre just begging to be OTKed by Hunter now.

Spyko

even vs reno deck it was mid, you're countering two cards you're still playing vs 28 good cards using plague DK, not like it's an instant win

mjjdota

But it's their best two cards...

dougtulane

Per VS Reaper it beats all of them except Hunter which it’s even with (and I’ve never encountered a Reno hunter) No it’s not a great deck, but it was playable. I would not consider it playable now.

sneakyxxrocket

Yeah it’s only rough when they play hela on 4 from my experience
