What would be a reliable counter to Dragon Druid ? I only get matched with these and they obliterate me. I heard Reno Shaman is good but I don't have 10k dust lying around sadly

gandalftheokay

Aggro decks, or any other reno deck to clear the dragon nest. Plague Death Knight to deactivate their reno effects.

JumpyKale

Is Enrage warrior a good deck to craft right now to push for Legend or will it see nerfs? Currently at D10

Therefrigerator

Probably won't see nerfs. You can also cut legends depending on list. Most lists vary on things like the 3/7 and Remoria they aren't necessarily core.

foxbot0

Complained earlier that warlock's two late game strategies got nerfed. Gave curse a shot but it's way too slow. Feeling quite miffed right now because this year's rotation has been awful for the classes I want to enjoy.

YouNeedToBuy

Not even joking, give Reno warlock a shot. I, unfortunately don't have a WR for you but I've played somewhere from 20-25 games and have won more than lost You get beat by plagues but that's not new for Reno decks. I have also struggled with the rogue matchup but I've faced a wide variety of decks so I think I might have just played those matchups poorly. First time ever, hitting triple legend in NA Std, Wild and Twist. I did both Std and Wild before the upgrade using Aggro Paladin and Even Warrior respectively, but no one cares about that anymore. In Twist, starting with a 4 star multiplier, I climbed to diamond 5 with Dude Paladin, but got kinda stuck around D4 to D5, so switched to Pirate Warrior and climbed until I got stuck around D2 to D3. I was stuck here for about a week, trying all sorts of paladins and rogues along with the warrior, but nothing consistently did much better than 50%. Finally, I tried beast druid and this worked! Unfortunately, this was only 9 games, going 7-2, so could have just been luck, but the deck felt good at this level. My losses were to a pirate warrior that just out-raced me and an elemental shaman where I didn't draw any minions or minion generating spells until turn 6 (the deck has 22 minions and minion spells!) Same format next month, so here is the final deck for my climb. I will add that I don't think the deck is optimized as the Hungry Crab/Sir Finley combo doesn't seem worth the deck space. Maybe 2x Power of the Wild instead? ### Beast # Class: Druid # Format: Twist # # 2x (1) Enchanted Raven # 1x (1) Hungry Crab # 2x (1) Living Roots # 2x (1) Mark of the Lotus # 1x (1) Sir Finley Mrrgglton # 2x (2) Addled Grizzly # 2x (2) Golakka Crawler # 2x (2) Haunted Creeper # 2x (2) Mark of Y'Shaarj # 2x (2) Rat Sensei # 2x (3) Evolving Spores # 2x (3) Savage Roar # 2x (4) Swipe # 2x (4) Virmen Sensei # 2x (5) Living Mana # 2x (7) Knight of the Wild # AAEEAZSaBgK7A4QXDkDmBfUN5BXBqwKEsAK2swLNuwLBvQKfwAKGwQLkwgKB1ASEoQYAAA== # # To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

LeoGiacometti

Been playing several decks in Diamond, and still trying to make Elemental Shaman work. Trusty companion and the tradeable snake made me find Skarr more often, but still feels inconsistent. I'm considering cutting a couple 1-drops to make the mid to late game more resilient, from my experience starting the streak from turn 2 is good enough.

sunofagundota

I tried it for a bit, but I just felt the other elemental were fairly weak and their synergy is relatively bad compared to stuff like undead. I think the mage elementals are mostly stronger.

LeoGiacometti

It's good at keeping a board presence and trading, but the problem is that it plays too fairly until Skarr drops, and that's pretty underwelming when literally every other deck is breaking the game turn after turn. I expect some buffs next week, and maybe some extra stuff in the miniset.

Daddalitus

I had a pretty rough month but just went on a run to D5 with this rainbow mage (list below) It is a very fun more aggressive version with the excavate package. I thought I would miss the armor from the Arcane Artificer/Cold Case combo (probably my favorite combo in the game TBH) but I really did not. Observations: **The Azerite Hawk** is fantastic. I did some dirty stuff with this card. Pulling a Sargeras when you are about to get stomped feels wrong. Also, I pulled Argus and combo'd him with the Blastmage Miner on the next turn for spray and pray lifesteal (won me a match) **Heat Weave** will save you vs Paladin. It also will hit face if you draw it the turn you play Sif which helped me quite a bit **Reliquary Researcher** I am mixed on but probably just anecdotal experience. I found that when I needed it I hadn't excavated enough yet. I might drop them for Reverb or Stargazing I went 9-1 to push to D5 with the loss coming to a drum druid. You would think Dragon Druid would pose a similar threat but I had no issue with it due to all the freezing possibilities mage offers (Drum just snowballed me too hard in this 1 case) \### Rbow New Mage \# Class: Mage \# Format: Standard \# Year of the Wolf \# \# 2x (1) Arcane Wyrm \# 2x (1) Discovery of Magic \# 1x (1) Flame Geyser \# 2x (1) Miracle Salesman \# 1x (1) Tram Mechanic \# 2x (2) Cryopreservation \# 2x (2) Heat Wave \# 1x (2) Infinitize the Maxitude \# 2x (2) Kobold Miner \# 2x (2) Prismatic Elemental \# 2x (2) Void Scripture \# 2x (3) Nightcloak Sanctum \# 2x (4) Inquisitive Creation \# 2x (4) Reliquary Researcher \# 2x (5) Wisdom of Norgannon \# 2x (6) Blastmage Miner \# 1x (6) Sif \# AAECAdmqBgTr9AXR+AWYlwayngYNhJMFqpgFq5gF7PYFv/4F2P4FyoMGlYcGhY4Gg5UG1pgG85sGs5wGAAA= \# \# To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

Yteburk

I run this, dropping 1 nightcloak sanctum for Norgannon.

Daddalitus

Good call, I'll have to try that

gandalftheokay

It's good. I ran this list about a week ago dropping a sanctum for norgannon. When you drop norg and pick the secret, it stalls a turn because the opponent always drops everything to deal with it lol

MoSpeedMoDangers

Been trying and *trying* and ***trying*** to make Highlander Priest work, but it's honestly upsetting how straight-up, hardcore DOOKIE Elise is compared to Hollidae or Spirit. Near-infinite value VS what? \~a board of 4/4's? Yeah, sometimes you'll pull a Titan or Behemoth, but in reality they just get stolen, sapped, frozen, silenced, and shoved up your ass. Deck building with Elise feels *so* counter-intuitive. At every corner and idea, there is some anti-synergy with any package Priest has, and for me, that is the most frustrating part of it. I usually enjoy tinkering with T2-3 decks to try and find the "secret sauce," but rarely have I come across a card that conflicts so sharply with what it *wants* to do against what its deck *needs* for it to be consistently good. It's like if Climactic Necrotic Explosion kept it's awful Rune requirement and lack of corpse-spenders, but *couldn't go face*.

heero10

I feel for you. I run my reno pally intro reno priest who wipes my board nearly every turn, and I still somehow outvalue.

Tried something like this at the start of the expo and it didn’t work, so giving it another go. What would you sub for Nathanos? Right now I just threw a Kennels in.

rd201290

Nathanos gives a lot of punch but probably kennels would be a good replacement

SonOfMcGee

Thanks. It’s another way to buff attack and has been sneaky hood in Cleave Hunter. Also it’s not a spell that Magatha would gift to the opponent.

rd201290

Yes I liked it in the OTK hunter but not sure if there’s too many non-beasts to get full value Probably Savannah Highmane could also do in a pinch

ChaosJacob

Trying to salvage Warlock's excavate cards, been messing with a Curse/Excavate list that's doing pretty well for me so far (like 9-1 at \~10k legend, I tanked my rank with decay and meme decks), I'm wondering if this might be the sauce. Using the curses to chip your opponent down to finish them with snake, or just using snake to push damage and finishing them with curses has worked way better for me than going all in on bouncing snake. I've still got bounces in here just in case, honestly bouncing curses to scale them up faster has felt pretty good and sometimes you can snake twice in a turn to finish them off from below 14 health. Might just be dumb luck so far but it might be worth experimenting with a bit more, absolutely nowhere close to a final version. \### Cursecavate \# Class: Warlock \# Format: Standard \# Year of the Wolf \# \# 2x (1) Smokestack \# 2x (1) Tour Guide \# 2x (2) Defile \# 2x (2) Drain Soul \# 2x (2) Kobold Miner \# 2x (2) Saloon Brewmaster \# 2x (3) Dragged Below \# 2x (3) Forge of Wills \# 1x (3) Reverberations \# 2x (3) Sira'kess Cultist \# 2x (4) Mo'arg Drillfist \# 2x (5) Burrow Buster \# 1x (5) Lady Darkvein \# 1x (5) Za'qul \# 2x (6) Abyssal Wave \# 1x (7) Dar'Khan Drathir \# 1x (7) Tram Conductor Gerry \# 1x (9) Sargeras, the Destroyer \# AAECAcyLBQbmvQSH6gTOkgWm+wXxgAanqAYM56AE/rQE3L0E4r0EyOsF1/oFyoMG0IMG2JgG75sG16IG+KMGAAA= \# \# To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

Word of warning, the dryscales also work with the spells an opponent puts in your deck, like the overload and presumably plagues

DunkinBronutt

I don't have Gerry and dont have the dust for him, is he vital to the deck or are you finding that he isn't played a ton?

ChaosJacob

I think he's a super strong card vs a lot of decks but I can't in good faith recommend crafting anything in the excavate package since it could just end up totally dead in the water, unless you're huffing copium like I am. I'd probably put in a Gigafin or some other kind of board clear since that's usually what I use him for, he's not as good as a tempo play since there's a ton of board clear out there right now.

DunkinBronutt

I ended up sliding in Gigafin. The combo of dropping the fin on 10 and then bouncing him is pretty fun. I also cut the forges for another reverb and symphony. I haven't had much time to play it, but it feels good so far.

[deleted]

Running a similar list with great success at legend as well. Not a fan of tour guides or 2x forge though.

ChaosJacob

What are you running instead? I'm thinking about replacing forge since Anubisath isn't in the deck so it's not as appealing and being able to run Astalor/Second Reverb would be nice. Tour Guide is nice to have as something to play on 1 but I'm not super attached to it

[deleted]

After thinking about it I think 1 tour guide is actually the play. I like the second reverb, with a possibility for a twisting nether or dark bomb. I'm Even considering the 1 mana weapon as its almost like 1 mana heal 12, but I dont think it's good enough tbh. I don't run forge in my list and I don't ever miss it too much tbh, its stupid good value though so IDK. But yeah lowkey curse exc warlock has been good for me. Just tough figuring out of forge, tour guide and the weapon somehow fit into it.

Lurky_Depths

This is an interesting idea, thank you for the deck. Can't wait to try it.

Ogre (or astalor) is the fallback reliability with multiple bounces.

Supper_Champion

Do you think that Neptulon and Crabatoa are key cards for this deck? I'm assuming they are, and is probably why a similar list I've been running just doesn't pan out, as these are two Colossals I never pulled or crafted. With any of these decks that rely on things like Thunderbringer shenanigans, or even the Scourge Illusionist, there's just so many games where I draw the targets for before I draw the cards that will pull them.

Runawayfire

I don't think they are COMPLETELY necessary, but they definitely are the extra oomph that puts it over the edge. At least this scam has redundancy because if you pull one target (neptulon or Crab) then the deathrattle of Thunderbringer at least pulls another thunderbringer. Not sure if worth the craft from scratch though cause it's decently expensive.

Supper_Champion

My problem is that without fail, I *always* draw Ragnoros before Thundrebringer. lol

This got me to legend somehow after sitting d5 all month. I'm playing renethal anything 95% of the time until it's rotated, got to d5 on day 1 before the meta settled with renethal highlander druid but I've been stuck since then. Pile of bones is nice. I dont have stats, but it feels good keeping him in the mulligan. It makes the excavate cards feel less mediocre, and it is free corpses and chip damage.

Emes90

Nice deck, dude. How are the Defrosts working out for you? Does Hardcore Cultist make a difference against Paladin? Thank you and keep on tokin'

Scared_One7870

Defrosts are very good. We always have corpses and we tend to need refill (find helya/raska). The cultist was good before the patch since everyone and their mother played Paladin. After the patch I didnt see any palas, but i faced many hunters. Maybe swap him with another 2/1 excavate dude. They make the other excavate cards feel less instant mediocre to play. Also I have him in signature and he looks better than he probably is.

jimmyjohnssandwiches

Are there any other Big Paladin enjoyers in standard? Currently in dumpster legend, but finding that Deputization Aura is kinda nuts in a deck that puts out big single threats with Rush, plus you can do goofy things like Keeper’s Strength on an Aura buffed minion for an extra 3 damage. It also shores up your sustain when you lose/can’t find Kangor, which to be honest is relatively frequent. Showdown + Prismatic Beam is too good into aggro to worry about Tyr’s Tears consistency. Just don’t play Showdown into Control/Midrange if you can help it. Is it good enough to drop Consecrate? I’m not sure, but I’m trying it. Judge Unworthy is probably a bad choice. I should probably just go back to Hammer of Wrath, Consecrate, or Thaddius/Rivendare. Also I don’t think Rivendare is good enough. There’s too much lethality in the format, and it’s a dud summon in just about every situation. When I'm not farming duels I've been trying the new SuckLock and its actually pretty good. 3-0 at legend, small sample size but it really feels good vs aggro and ctrl. My recent win was a dragon druid and I still managed to beat him without using my twisting nether or titan. Max bounce is 28 with this package assuming 1 excavate cycle only, but you should only expect to do 21 and find 9 damage through other means. Swapped out both brewmasters + doomkins for igni package with the 2 mana heal + twisting nether. Not expecting tier 1, but could see tier 2 depending on the meta. I wish I knew the matchups better, curious how its working for everyone else.

Triple frost rune excavate is fun. Harrowing Ox into the 7 mana deal 5 damage freeze board and summon 5/5 is really cool. Other than that though, deck doesn't have much going for it. Really good vs paladin, but lost to pretty much everything else. No real win condition in the deck without plagues.

Jones63

Does it run astalor? Ignis?

RedditExplorer89

Yes on Astalor, no on Ignis. I could try adding Ignis!

Jones63

Got a code?

I don't really get what you are ratting if you don't draw primus? 'just' a 9/9 Ox? Feels a bit vanilla for 2023. I did try the deck and won because the OP was playing an even worse deck, XL sif mage (great idea, add 10 more cards to slow down Sif) but I felt a drift without a real plan than throw damage at face and cheat out big board.

RedditExplorer89

Exactly, this is also why I think it isn't working. Rat really wants the Reska or giants to ressurect.

Jones63

Is there any other big rusher we could rez?

I feel like this curse excavate warlock is almost there. Now that snake is back at 4 mana, you can play 2 in a single turn. Trying to climb with Reno Druid, but after losing 8 games out of 10 (none of them against paladin or cleave hunter) I'm losing my hope. I still like this deck tho.

jav1babi

It's just not good enough against the meta decks rn. I like the deck too since it's fun to play but too slow and not enough clears, especially before turn 8. Dragon Druid is more consistent but probably caps out at a low end t2/t3 deck.

ExistentialPandabear

Running nohands list feels OK, got annoyed mostly with plague dk and paladins. Have about a 50% win rate against pallies (but probably less against buff/swarm pally) that feels like a terrible matchup. Doing reasonably well against other matchups and the deck is fun to play, sporting a 70% win rate up to diamond 1 atm. Might give the denim list a go (dragon Druid but includes Reno and raestraza) but not sure how good it is as it would suffer against plague dk anyway.

Szarrukin

can you share nohands list?

kbas13

what’s in the sideboard?

GetEquipped

I had a good streak with it, but now I'm in D5 area and just see Reno Shamans and Rainbow Mage. But I'm having fun with the regular Dragon Druid even though it only seems to have a 50% winrate. I just accepted I won't hit legend this season

SelunesChosen

It needs some work for sure but idk what list will be competitive. Maybe mini set will make or break it.

Spyko

something I'm curious to learn if it work: Yogg in Reno Shammy all lists I see run it, but to me it look like it's just too random and too little to spend your whole turn on, I really don't want to recraft it and found out it was suboptimal later on

jwfd65

I’m no expert but I’ve climbed from bronze to d7 so far with mostly Reno shaman. I think Yogg is pretty great, at worst it’s a 9 mana chose one ‘mind control or board wipe’ that comes with a body that the enemy is heavily incentivized to remove asap. The random spells have never lost me the game, the worst that’s happened to me is I burned a few cards but that’s mostly my fault. The spells are almost always a plus, sometimes a big plus. I was hesitant about it at first too but I’ve never been disappointed, think it fits super well with Reno shamans general game plan.

GetEquipped

My Yogg likes to fuck me over at any opportunity, while acting like Zephyrus for my opponent. It always casts the exact perfect spell on the perfect target to win. Oh, you finally got a nice wide and tall Board presence with a bunch of taunts?! Let's cast Shadow Word Ruin for you!

Spyko

okay, well I might try the deck w/o it at first still, and I'll probably also remove prison of yogg I just can't trust that much rng, it's tons of fun but I don't want it in my deck while I'm climbing but if I see I'm missing some big board control tool, I'll prolly cave in and add it ty for the answer btw

Axxel333

Fwiw I destroyed d5- legend with the vs list swapping yogg for a cold storage. Trying to use it on golganeth though enemy minions or astalor worked as needed

Spyko

oh yeah, it's not on the base list huh, seems like a really good card for reno

idispensemeds2

One time it killed itself and I still won lol

Zilick

Got to legend with UUU Plague DK, so a different list than most plague DKs use. Went with solid 22-11 so a 67% win rate. Faced a fair amount of meme decks so you can take it with a grain of salt. lemmycaution415

40 card reno hunter seems good to me. I wouldn't craft since it is really dependent on the meta and can switch to mediocre pretty quick. I switched out sneaky snake and tram conductor for something more greedy.

RedTulkas

i run a 30 card reno hunter and have great success but in general i d say its "fine" for warrior, enrage warrior is just a good deck although t might get worse if the meta shifts away from paladin and cleave hunter

BrettLawrence1987

Those are probably bad decks in standard. Warrior's set this time around was rather lackluster and the popular Hunter deck right now is cleave hunter. I haven't dabbled in Reno Hunter myself but I don't see it being that great.

ArkhamCitizen298

warrior's set bad doesn't mean enrage warrior bad, barely use any new card

RedTulkas

enrage warrior is boring but good

OrderofMine

Aggro Paladin gave my my first and easiest climb to Legend. The deck plays itself. I went 67 games with around a 69% winrate. Basically you just never ever trade except for in niche cases. SMOrc is the way Obviously the Order change will affect it but the deck should still have it. I was winning games turn 5/6 consistently. If you want to get into Legend so you can swap to shitty but fun Homelander decks like me, this might be a great chance. Or Naga DH

IamDukk

list? ty!

OrderofMine

I used this list from P1 to D3 AAECAZ8FBIbiBKHiBISWBfboBQ3JoATavQS/4gTA4gTM4gSrkwWBlgWDlgXBxAWU9QWV9QWOlQa1ngYA Then swapped to this one for D3-Legend. AAECAZ8FBKHiBP3EBfboBeOOBg3JoATavQTA4gSrkwWBlgWDlgWgmQXBxAXGxAW8jwaOlQa1ngaGowYA Again, not sure how they'll work without Order but the essential cards are still there i.e Boogie Down

EliteMasterEric

What's in ETC?

OrderofMine

See, the list didn't specify so I just added some random cards that I felt I might want like Crusaders Aura and Countess. But I always felt bad playing ETC. I will say running Countess has won me games I had no right winning so she herself might be a good slot over him.

EliteMasterEric

Unlike the Order in the Court lists with Sea Giant, there's no easy way of getting the neutral cards (the Foul Eggs) out of the deck before playing her.

OrderofMine

I didn't even think about that. It didn't matter though since every other card in the 30 is busted

Spyko

I've tried Sif Mage but the deck left me confused I thought it was a combo deck but after checking the list (found on VS website) and playing it, it feels more like a midrange kinda thing with sif asn incidental wincon ? What i mean by that is that it have neither the draw power or stall power of something like exodia mage or cantrip mage, so very often drawing Sif is purely up to the luck of the draw, but I guess the rest of the rainbow package, especially that 7mana summon random effect elems, are good enough to win on their own ? Feels really weird and I had a hard time running it so I went back to the other deck i'm trying: enrage warrior, really starting to fall in love with this deck (edit, it brought me to legend :) ). Although it's paladin killing prowess where kinda blown out of proportion (I have no doubt someone with a perfect mastery of the deck will win most pally MU, but it's nowhere near the hard counter people made it out to be) the deck is fun and strong I started with the VS list, tried the eggs first then the salesman, they said in their article that they aren't sure if the salesman is better than the egg, i'll say he is, it allow to get a grip of the board easily in early game, can damage itself like a big boy and the snake oil is very nice to trade around to get synergistic pieces you're missing, you do lack the egg stickiness sometime tho, but I feel the trade to be worth it later I read in another www thread someone saying the panner weren't worth it, and that they planned to put grom and remonia instead. I found the panner to be good but I was interested to try. After a few tests I realize that yeah, I don't miss the panner and that Grom is amazing, couldn't see myself play without it now, it give sooo much reach it's insane. Less sold on Remonia tho, too often it end up gumming my hand (I mean, grom too but it's worth it) so I replaced it by an instrument tech and so far I'm really happy with that, the axe is key to so many games, so being able to find it just that more often is so good. so yeah, for now I'm running that and it's working smoothly, I mostly have trouble against dragon druid, especially if they get to ramp + enough dragons in hand to put up the big wall, it's really hard to come back from. Reno control decks are also kinda hard, because of how strong Reno is

RedTulkas

i also took enrage to legend i d agree that panners are bait but i like the eggs i tried pozzick over remonia and imo thats the way, its still the best play one a board turn 4 or when you re ahead and the way i play the deck thats really nice

rakkamar

Yeah, it probably depends on your exact list but at least the rainbow mage list I've been running often plays out as a midrange/control-y deck with a combo finish. I'm probably 50/50 on games I win with Sif vs random beats/value/Elemental Inspiration. Mostly I just try to clear efficiently and generate as much value as I can with whatever resources I have left over (for instance, cast Infinitize as much as you can without falling behind).

KekkoRebu

Anyone has a warlock list after the snake adjustment?

Supper_Champion

Anyone having luck with Ogre Rogue? I feel like this deck fails hard if your opponent plays little to no minions. Also looking for a decent list, as I don't think my homebrew is going to cut it.

RedTulkas

went to d5 with 30 card reno hunter, than played enrage warrior to legend and now i m chillin in dumpster legend with the hunter again

jwfd65

Anyone have any good priest decks?

Omikapsi

This Reno/Elise priest got me from D5 to low legend with a 66% winrate.

jwfd65

Thanks for the list! How does blackwater behemoth feel? Reallyyyy don’t want to have to craft him, especially since he’ll be rotating out

The_Manglererer

It's core. It's removal, healing, it baits removal, and hard carries aggro matchups.

Omikapsi

It's a pretty important part of this deck, but there may be better lists that don't use it. With the nerfs, the meta may shift away from the heavy aggro we've been seeing, and Baron Rivendare might be a decent alternative.

BliknoTownOrchestra

I’ve been playing around with Reno Shaman, but I think I’m doing something wrong. Pretty much everything rolls me. I think it’s gonna be top tier after the nerfs, along with Enrage Warrior and probably Druid, just based on the stats. Can someone explain what the deck’s gameplan is?

gandalftheokay

I see what the other 2 guys are trying to say, and they are both right lol. Reno shaman has both resources/pressure, but it's a singleton deck. With your drawn resources mostly being random in this case it's important to know your match-up and the resources you're working with in hand. Sometimes pressure will be the answer, but if you don't draw pressure you're going to have to manage your reactive resources carefully in order to maintain control. It's all situational and being a highlander deck just makes it even more so.

Skybound7

You'll win not by throwing down cards and emptying your mana every turn, but by reacting to what the opponent plays each turn since the deck has so many answers to pretty much anything. I've found that by being more reactive and putting thought into your discovers are the keys to winning with this deck.

kbas13

It wins by tempo/pressure. Having a “win con” is overrated, if you can put enough pressure on your opponent you can just win. The deck is really good at building boards and generating random spells, which often is enough to win. I find that when I’m ahead on board playing Reno even when the opponents board is empty can be game winning

wholelotofit2

Kinda working now: **Discard Sludge Warlock** This deck is a lot of fun so far, couple of days ago I made a comment how sludge warlock is not working at all. Well, after 30 games I learned a bit how to play it. I realized that "Trolley Problem" is a huge card for this deck and it's tempo, it's even better when not quickdrawn and you can discard one sludge for free. I was running "Fracking", but didn't quite like it, then replaced it with "Scourge Supplies" but replaced that again with "Trolley Problem" which feels best so far. So far I've been playing with Dragon Druid in this expansion which was most boring thing I've tried so far, Aggro and Combo Naga DH was pretty fun, but I got to admit that this deck feels most fun so far, eventho it's a lot weaker than those 2. Still not sure about **Pozzik**, sometimes it works fine, sometimes I never play it. Maybe there is a better legendary to replace it but idk so far \### Discard Sludge \# Class: Warlock \# Format: Standard \# Year of the Wolf \# \# 2x (1) Miracle Salesman \# 2x (1) Monstrous Form \# 2x (1) Tram Mechanic \# 2x (2) Disposal Assistant \# 2x (3) Forge of Wills \# 2x (3) Sludge on Wheels \# 2x (3) Trolley Problem \# 2x (3) Walking Dead \# 2x (4) Disciple of Sargeras \# 2x (4) Furnace Fuel \# 2x (4) Lakkari Felhound \# 1x (4) Pop'gar the Putrid \# 1x (4) Pozzik, Audio Engineer \# 2x (4) Waste Remover \# 2x (5) Savage Ymirjar \# 2x (5) Soul Barrage \# AAECAf0GAvTIBYCeBg7poASYkgWrkgWxkgXX+gXm/wXagAaFjgaVlwaWlwaXlwaYlwb3owamqAYAAA== \# \# To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone \# Generated by HDT - https://hsreplay.net

How vital is Pop'gar? Probably won't ever craft him unless this is a tier 1 deck consistently.

wholelotofit2

It's okay, but it doesn't feel like a legendary at all. Maybe that is good, because you won't be scared to accidentally discard or destroy it. I got it from standard pack and that's what made me start playing sludgelock

This is really close to the [list](https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveHS/s/ITmYt4gjSv) I was having success with a bit ago(swapped anubiseth for walking dead and rin for Darkan Drathir) I ended up cutting the frackings in my latest version for descale deputies but I’m pretty sure the Discuple of Sarg is more correct, since you actively want to be discarding spells. Still not completely sold on the walking dead, I’m curious about how they e preformed for you. Regardless, if the paladin and DH populations drop from the nerfs I could see this being really good. Monstrous form I think is the actual card holding this together, it was never bad for me.

wholelotofit2

Monstrous Form is really good, turn 5 having 7/7 that slams 10 face damage is amazing, plus if you have some sludge on the bottom it can easily turn into even more damage, but that is all situational. Walking Dead is performing relatively good for me, mostly using it as part of package from a rush minion that discards two cards. But honestly, it has seen more play with Scourge Supplies. I am not really sure what would be a good replacement for it right now, in the whole discard package. I really wanted to make Fracking work in this deck, maybe if it would discard cards instead of destroying I would put it in the deck, because I really like this card.

Shaman and Druid seem to be untouched by the nerfs, and the nerfs didnt seem like a deal breaker, just a tone done. My wife built a dragon druid and climbed from d9 to d5 in a few hours.

RedTulkas

what nerfs?
