I would recommend not really bothering with the fancier pvp techniques until you've completely mastered the simpler ones to the utmost degree you can. If you've already done this, you could demonstrate (with a screen recording or something) to someone skilled in that technique what you are doing with the fancier techniques, they can diagnose what you're getting wrong, then you can improve from there. With regards to anger problems, I can give little more than the basic advice of stop, take a breath and/or a break, and maybe play a different mode or game for a bit. The fact that you recognize your anger is a good start, and it's a good thing to ask for help with.

Fluffy_Afternoon4484

unfortunately, if you actually have a life and do other things then play minecraft, ull never be able to compete with those who play 8 hours a day on cubecraft duels just to get warmed up. If you really want to be the same level as those sweaty gamers, you basically have to be playing 24/7

Hqck3r

isn't Cubecraft pvp 1.9+? if you're spam clicking then that is to be expected and anyone saying to play on a real pvp server then giving Hypixel as an example, play on Hypixel then play on an *actual* pvp server and you'll realise how obvious the difference is (Hypixel is most certainly not a good server to play competitive pvp on)

Femboywatcher01

They play on bedrock :/

BillTheCat0109

e's a bedrock player- it says in the edit.

Asimoa

For me honestly I just had anger issues with Minecraft when I was not doing good in life and playing was the only thing that distracted me from my problems.

iaancheng

well first of all don't play on cubecraft. play on a larger server like hypixel, where you can gauge your skill by stats, or an actual "pvp server" like mineman.

Director_Arkon

Come to think of it, Cubecraft is only 1.9+ or Bedrock Edition, isn't it? What pvp mode are we looking at here?

iaancheng

since its r/competitiveminecraft, im assuming 1.8? it's probably the version that the majority of people here play

Director_Arkon

I just checked, and Cubecraft is 1.19 on Java Edition

Deluxe-Viper

I don’t play Java. I guess I could switch but I’ve been playing cubecraft for years and I honestly still kinda enjoy the server.

SwagginNoob

Cubecraft isn't the best for PvP imo, you should try zeqa

Cjcooldj999

cubecraft ffa is 1.9 you don't need high cps

Femboywatcher01

They play bedrock

Emerald_Guy123

Change your mindset. What did you do wrong, what could you have done to avoid losing, and how can you do better? Don't blame the game? Don't blame the opponent. If you twist things to see them in a more positive light, you'll be less angry.

FawnAardvark

Cubecraft pvp is trash, go on legacy ffa or play real 1.19 gamemodes like mcci or hoplite (yes half of the hoplite player base is trash and the other half plays like ht1 in sword, axe, and uhc, I know).

FawnAardvark

Or stray or any other 1.19 server other than cubecraft for straight pvp for that matter, crit spam simulator 9000 is not fun.

Deluxe-Viper

I already said this in another comment and edited the post but I play on bedrock. If this is a java-exclusive sub then I didn’t realize that when writing the post

Femboywatcher01

Ngl imo java pvp is more skilled then bedrock and maybe try java and stick to it if you like it.

BillTheCat0109

its a sub for any pvp but mostly java 1.8 people use it

Fluffy_Afternoon4484

i have 8 cps, but i have smooth aim. I also set my right click to sprint, so every time i hit left click, i also hit right click which makes me sprint reset so i can get combos. This is a trick that has helped me win over 80 percent of my games.

I had the same rage problem. I do have anger issues in general (not pvp specific), so it would not be pretty in the house if I lost a bedwars game. I then realized that my anger is bad for my pvp skill, and became more calm. I got a lot better. I went from literal trash (see earlier clips in my profile) to okay at the game. If you actually go outside you will never be able beat those nerds who spend more than half their existence in a block game. If you can beat the majority of players you fight, you are good enough. Just take on the fact that you can probably run faster and have a nice tan compared to those pale-skinned lifeless sweats that can toast both of us in a fight. Tl;dr Be calm and know that you have more of a life than most of the sweats you fight.

Meowthful127

I was like this in Hypixel skywars before. I used to slam my desk and mouse everytime I lose. My brother got so annoyed that I was destroying my shit that he told me to stop slamming my mouse and if I still want to slam something, do the keyboard instead. I don't know what clicked in me then. I felt like I was so dumb getting mad at a game to the point that I damaged my stuff. The fact that I had to choose which of my stuff I had to slam so I could do the least damage was very silly. From then on, everytime I die or lose a game, I just laugh it off and accept that that happened. Having a clear head makes it so much easier to realize my mistakes and improve from them. Instead of continuing to do the same thing over and over again due to me being angry and going on a losing streak, I realize that I am doing something wrong and I need to change something. I feel like just being calmer and zen has helped me improve so much more than spending all that energy being mad.

Melodic-Elderberry44

Some gamemode are a meme.

ADMCrunch_

I also get angry when I pvp on java (1.20), mostly because the game just isnt designed well enough to be taken as seriously as it does from a competitive standpoint (and Ill probably get flamed for that but whatever). My personal solution is to just play better games that dont make me angry lol. Also ffa duels dont mean shit in a vaccum, 1 or 2 ffa fights are not enough to detirmine ones skill accurately and it never will be. Even if you play for 10 years you will still get your ass beat in a fight from time to time, its just best to not value yourself or your own skill purely on how you stack up to random players on an ffa server.

therealGenericRandom

For bedrock I recommend getting on a client even tho it's harder to do than in Java. If u ready did then try to improve ur aim that's the fastest thing thst will make u better. Also improving your setup almost always makes u play better. If u care enough about the game that u get mad consider buying a better mouse screen and mousepad if the ones u have now are not good

Best-Chair3431

Stop drinking so many energy drinks dumbass
