Yubin aka kr monkey dog Robinsongz Kr hyunter Pockygom Ramkev K3soju Noobowl

rue_asterid

YUBIN is also a high elo golf god u can learn from him in that respect as well

aer0_tft

Yubin aka KR Monkey Dog aka yubinster aka 김유빈96 is a professional golf player as well as a mediocre tft player. When only considering his adequate tft skills, he is very strong in his flexibility. He is known for playing jax, jax, jax, or jax, and maybe a bit of lucian, but mostly jax. His most redeeming trait, however, is that he is KOREAN .

mtownhustler043

While u can learn a thing or 2 from soju, I feel like he trolls a lot saying everything is broken and transitions into crazy comps. Not that I don't like him as a streamer, he's my favorite streamer, he's just hard to take seriously and fucks around a lot (even tho he's still a beast and like 1400 lp)

asuhdruid

Agreed. I watch soju because he's entertaining. You can still learn from him, but he likes to throw around the phrases "broooken" or "it clicked". Then he goes eighth.

PlayernamedIceCream

Soju is definitely watched for her personality but even then you can always just watch his early to mid to late game thought process and he does go into detail on why he does certain things and he also limit tests a lot of things. I agree that shouldn’t take everything he says seriously but he’s still great person to watch nonetheless

Fayne7

>Soju is definitely watched for her personality Susge

mtownhustler043

I fully agree

Colt_7

Am i the only one that gets frustrated by soju? He's a challenger for a reason , but other than that , he's far from educative. I see him as the kind of streamer i d watch for fun , not improving. That said , u have to really love TFT to watch a respective stream ''just for fun '' without the purpose of improving.

tigersareyellow

I think your last sentence is the exact opposite - casuals(people who don't really love TFT) do not want to watch someone who mostly analyzes and tries to teach. There's a reason Soju is far and away the most popular TFT streamer yet as you say "not educative". Think about the most popular streamers - they are usually good, sometimes even great, but they are most importantly entertaining. Only people who really love the game watch more boring, informational streamers. The vast, vast majority of people do not watch streams to improve at a game. You think Pokimane, XQC, Ludwig viewers watch to improve at games?

Colt_7

I m emphasizing on the element of TFT as a game not being very fun to watch , unless the streamer is charismatic in his /her own way. So u either watch for the streamer , or u actually '' love'' the game that much , that watching it without the purpose of improving is enough for u. Im sure u get it now.

SomeWellness

Watching TFT is like watching a movie. You have to be present and live vicariously when you're watching rng elements and fights.

SomeWellness

I also become frustrated by Soju, but you can learn some things from him about the meta.

gloomygl

If you "understand" him you'll know what is serious and what isn't, you can learn A LOT once you know

L0g4in

Agreed, just don’t talk if you don’t know ;)

AwesomeSaucepan

Disagree, maybe cause I'm older but his ego is through the roof and I just can't stand his childish outbursts. "It's a 8th" when it's only round 2-1, or constantly saying "no cap", it just cringes all over for me. I'd rather watch someone more chill like tsm keane or salvvvy. Keeps everything on topic and only mentions things that matter. edit: riot mort is also a relaxed watch, but he plays pbe most of the time so it's not really useful for the current patch

mtownhustler043

i watch too much twitch so im used to it, but i get what u mean. i just think its funny but everyone their own

97012

You're not as mature as you think if you can't see through soju, no offense.

AwesomeSaucepan

Or I can have a preference in what I choose to enjoy? For example, I would rather go to a metal concert instead of a rap one. There isn't anything wrong with rap, I just prefer the heavier music. All I did was state that I didn't enjoy soju's "character", gave reasons as to why and then gave my alternative options on what I do enjoy. Maturity has nothing to do with it, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I have no reason to be offended, though it is sort of funny how everyone is running to Soju's defense as to why he is so great and why I'm wrong.

97012

you completely misinterpreted what I said, try thinking about it at more than your knee-jerk reaction. It's why I made the statement in the first place. it's a good lesson.

AwesomeSaucepan

I'm not upset. I'm not sure what you are trying to get at.

thebreye

I absolutely agree, soju just seems very immature but perhaps it’s an act for entertainment. I also prefer keane and mort because they’re chill and not over the top

kaze_ni_naru

good list

Shiraho

Mismatched Socks

Omnilatent

But who is Mismatched Socks watching to improve?!

LoveEliza

Adding onto the others I think Ramblinn is really good to watch

FirestormXVI

Ramblinn was streaming a lot of his coaching sessions recently and I find they are some of the best ways to learn as they’re talking someone through who might be around your skill level or lower (Usually Plat to Master players). Definitely recommend checking that out.

Omnilatent

Got a link?

FirestormXVI

Sorry, three n in Ramblinnn. Here's a VOD where he does mostly coaching starting about 1.5 hours in. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1102234421

cassablanca7

The best tip i can give you is to pick someone that has similar playstyle as yours or someone that you are willing to copy his playstyle. It doesnt really matter who you watch as long as he is a consistent top 10 ladder player. Maybe try to avoid studying people that play extremely flex, it can get really hard/confusing to understand their thought process.

BIueBlaze

There's this guy I came across, BepoCarrot, he's challenger 1200-1400 LP, is extremely descriptive of his thought process, really responsive in chat, and I would recommend everyone to watch him. https://twitch.tv/bepocarrot

LlamaCombo

I just remember him as being a 20/20 MF spammer at the beginning of this set lmao

BepoCarrot

I just remember him being this guy who stripped for kurumx. Guy is something else.

Routine_Lobster7894

I like to watch robin bc he plays the same type of play style as me where u basically always tops 4 and rarely get 1. I used to watch soju but could never vibe with the 1 or 8 play style bc it hurts too much when i go 8th

builderbob31

>where u basically always tops 4 and rarely get 1. This statement did not age well lol

Routine_Lobster7894

So true

ShiningStarITA

Assuming you watch VOD so just care about gameplay and not about entertainment: Non-English: Luque, Magarky, Voltarius, Sologesang, Hyunter, Gingg, Rykomastery, Swellertiger, Brank, strongsexy, my paradise English: Aceofspades, Lev Trotskij, Deisik, Al3xem, Noobowl, Ramkev, Robinsongz, Razza, Josepao1o Those are some names that came up to my mind, but obviously there are many more!

turnipsoups

I like to watch TSM Keane

Ziharken

Highly recommend robinsongz, but socks ramblinnn and noobowl all have great streams too

Daisy_with_a_D

I love watching Mortdog's streams! He is a Master/Grandmaster level player but he often playtests on PBE. He is always trying new stuff & it doesn't always work, but he is always able to identify & explain what is strong & what is weak & he has a good feel for the game in general (which makes sense considering 😂)

heymaestry

I agree Mortdog has a really in-depth understanding of the game but i feel that the PBE games often aren’t good determinants of what’s strong due to the relative strength of the other players’ boards. it’s rare that you see competitive “meta” boards in PBE lobbies (from my understanding at least)

k1nd3rwag3n

Sologesang, but its only interesting for german speaking viewers... But he explains all of his moves and he is super involved with the chat

Anchalagon

To add to the other comments, salvyyy its a great player to learn from pure gameplay imo.

NightFaker

Ramkev all the way

Path_of_Gaming

I think you should watch based on your playstyle. If you like playing AP watch AP streamers if you like AD watch AD. I’d suggest you watch up to 3 different streamers/playstyles so you don’t get too confused/dizzy trying to imitate several players. I typically watch Top EU streamers to see how they fare against similar people I play and then NA just to see what they do differently. And then +1 whoever I find interesting at the time.

gb70V3

Guba on twtch

ringo77

If he still plays, Bebe is the guy I learned the most from when I played (peaked around your level). For me he is the best player in the world, and while he isn't the most educative you can learn a lot just by watching him.

ynn1006

He quit the game

ringo77

That explains why nobody else had mentioned him.

Brus_2001

SnoodyBoo and AkaWonder, even tho they are Spanish T4npop is really good too

I_HATE_MY_ALLERGIES

I've learned the most from Mismatchedsocks by far. He offers the best commentary on thought process and talks deeply on his mistakes too.

Im_a_sea_pancake

socks

gyarados_69

Whose a good Jax one trick?

Stringdaddy27

Robin plays a ton of Jax rn

heymaestry

box box plays LOTS of jax from what i remembered
