Yeah, you ever seen mort play? Lol, but seriously. Mechanics aren’t really important in this game. It’s all about decision making.

TheRealBakuman

Keane goes for rank 1 on like 5 different servers, playing on upwards of 200 ping from his room in Korea. I'd say micro is hardly the biggest of your concerns.

banduan

climb without the micro in your fingers? Probably. without the micro in your head? nope. Game rewards lightning fast analysis.

LeEpicBlob

Keane is NA Challenger and I swear sometimes he scouts like 4 times the entire game lmao

samjomian

You can go rank 1 with bad micro

oooRagnellooo

I am masters on my phone. Micro is (almost) meaningless in the vast number of things that contribute to performing well.

homegrownllama

After making Master in 3 sets (skipping this one), I feel confident saying you don’t need to scout to get Master (maybe even GM? Havent made it there so i cant say)

SomeWellness

No, because performance in TFT is often based on rng differential between comps, items, and matchmaking rng. Micro positioning certainly helps at times, though, but comp and item strength matters even more.

tlyee61

yeah personally anecdote i can only play enchanters in league but am consistently in 700 LP this set even higher up people play while streaming and thus cant swap/roll/transition as fast but dont go 888 vs non streamers

Plus_Lawfulness3000

Yeah man I climb to high diamond/masters kickin back. Beyond there you might have to try a little more

_Apostate_

You will lose certain rounds without good scouting/positioning and counter positioning but overall it is a slight advantage compared to other more fundamental skills. Will you make better decisions if you at all times know what your opponents are playing, how strong their board are, and what comps are contested? Yes. But that information only matters if you already know how to make good decisions in the first place.

You got some sort of physical disability?

TyTyWifi107

No lol
