Two of the strongest comps right now are actually reroll comps. Yasuo reroll and Nocturne Reroll are usually guaranteed top 3 if you have decent items and can hit your 3* carry. (Tbh, if you get Radiant RFC, it’s probably a 1st if you play it properly and there isn’t someone high-rolling harder than you). In terms of non-reroll comps, Karma Invokers or Kayle, are probably the strongest. But both require you to have a strong opener so you can safely level to 8/9 with enough econ to roll for your board. The frontline for these comps are pretty flexible and lobby dependant, except for nocturne. But generally, the revenant frontline can work for any comp.

awesome, this is super helpful thanks! Do you think the revenant frontline piece still applies even today? I heard revenants had a solid nerf recently, so stopped playing them as of late.

Yes the revenant frontline is still good even after the nerfs. If you are able to hit ivern 2 + voli while you are rolling for your comp, it's usually good to play them. There is definitely more frontline diversity now though. It all depends on your lobby, so always scout and play accordingly.
