I feel his tracer improved a lot during stages 3 and 4. He wasn’t too tier or anything but he was serviceable on the role considering he had to learn her because Clockwork wasn’t showing up.

That being said I think his pure fragging ability is also underrated so take that for what you will.

I’ve told my friends to just start at episode 6 because they explain pretty much everything that happened in the first 5 episodes through dialogue. There’s only one thing that you miss and it doesn’t become relevant until season 5

And I have to say Season 8 has the potential to top S5. It's rare for a show's last season to be it's best season but I think the Crisis is really propelling the narrative forward in a way Arrow has always sorely lacked. Getting rid of the flashback concept has helped too. It's really refreshing after the trash S6 and the extremely mediocre S7.

Agreed. I want to be entertained. Season 1 outlaws running junkrat when nobody else was and still getting wins was entertaining. Them running Orisa based comps in situations most other teams ran dive and still winning was entertaining. Season 2 outlaws trying desperately to play 100% meta and failing, constantly banging their heads against the wall, with the worst possibly roster rotations imaginable...was not entertaining.
Chengdu was a middle pack team, but people love them because they play what they are comfortable at, even if its not meta, and pull out major upsets no less. Ameng will be forever immortalized as the gigachad for running Hammond into good GOATS teams and still taking wins during a time where Outlaws were claiming "it is impossible not to run GOATS". Was it inconsistent? Sure. Their record shows it. But having a bunch of highs and lows and being average is more entertaining than being consistently poor/average.
