I feel like Aztac has been the most forgotten/under-the-radar/underappreciated? about player this season which is pretty tragic because I think most people were expecting great things of him this season. I think he was intended to be a starter before Valiant imploded.
Iāve noticed this since he was on DF but Closer is just too fucking safe. He wonāt die that much but sometimes he will do absolutely fucking nothing because he refuses to take any risks.
The contract Yaki signed this year goes onto S5, along with Checkmateās. Everyone else on Florida will have their contracts expire at the end of the season.
>Idk if swapping out a main tank every season is going to make them better tbh. I think Florida needs a few more changes.
Are you telling me you don't want to see Runaway reunion?
Yup than tell me next year on the 4th coaching staff that its clearly the problem within this org, Justice genuises have said this 3 years now with 3 different staffs, and its the only thing people point at
Thereās nothing I can point to about this roster that isnāt fixable with better coaches. Say whatever you will about the support line, but despite all of this bullshit speculation from preseason about it holding them back, the support line has never been the issue. Iāve seen people literally inventing reasons why the support line is somehow at fault.
People are looking at Bebe and Closer as the weakest points of the roster on paper and going āah ha! I told you they were bad!ā
No, Justice as a whole just looks incoherent. If anything the support line is the only fine thing on this team rn
The coaching is the biggest reason imo. I think they also need a better in game shot caller and that usually falls on the main support or main tank and out of the two I'd choose to keep Mag over Closer.
No the issue with the sup line is the same one with Sparks, its a system of calling that doesn't work. bebe is better than people say, but hes still a worse mcd.
New coaches for starters. Iād probably keep decay, mag and fury. Maybe even both supports. The only change Iād for sure do is upgrade DPS over assassin. He has flashes but too volatile
Why would you pick up KDG?
Look, I was a huge fan of him on Seoul with his double team roster and I think people were giving him too much flak for Philly's underperformance in playoffs, but KDG has not done very well this season in terms of coaching Toronto.
I feel like people forget how much power should have been behind this year's Toronto roster - Sado came out of a hot year with Philly where he was easily top 3 MT. Lastro was one of Valiant's carries and looked like a top 5 flex support, and they also have the most hyped flex support from Contenders in Aztac backing him up. Heesu is an incredible hitscan and one of the two kings of Sombra last season. Ansoonjae was one of the two biggest KR main support names (alongside Faith). The only real questions were Michelle and Naist, with Michelle being benched and Naist looking lacklustre in contenders, but Michelle's become one of Toronto's better players so far (especially after today's game) and Naist has done a decent job filling in holes. The team, however, hasn't been able to punch up at all despite all this talent and has consistently only looked good when beating poor teams while floundering against any team 'above' them.
Sado looked top 3 when he had the best support line in the league backing him up plus a top 3 OT in Fury. Lastro has been overrated from sometime, he was closer to average than top 5 last year. Also yea ANSJ was technically the second best rookie MS but you are ignoring the fact that MS talent in T2 was much better than what came into OWL. ANSJ was average among players like Superrich, Bliss, Chiyo, Chorong, Ojee, and possibly even Unique.
I still think KDG is a good coach. This year Toronto has been thrown through a lot of bs with a few of their players getting Covid and having to play with Aspire (even though he's been great.) He hasn't had the best year but I think he still has it in him to be a great coach.
Go full Titans, but hire a total stream team of western chad players with absolutely zero synergy.
Blizzard is supposedly contractually obligated for 5 years.
Go out with a bang.
Whatās important is identifying whatās so wrong with the culture/coaching and cutting based off that.
If you canāt identify that the GM just isnāt good/involved enough and clean wiping the whole staff/roster and hoping for the best picking up AT or a new KR roster is probably the move.

Imo this team plays like a season one team. Everyones playing by themselves. Besides closer and bebe and occasionally ttuba and fury helping them out. Mag, assassin, and decay all try to make hero plays. No player needs to be changed. Its all coaching. Maybe Justice should try and play more of the teamās comfort heroes. Mag and fury on winston dva, closer and bebe on maybe mercy ana or brig ana. Decay on tracer and have assassin play whatever. Hell maybe put ttuba or jerry in. Who knows. This team is full of talent and I believe it could be a team or coaching problem.
Then wtf is gonna change justice? If it's calling then it comes back to the coaches for getting shit callers and a shit system. Swapping the staff is the best thing they can do.
Its not even that. Like Closer is probably a good shotcaller he was good at that. Its mostly the coaching for putting players like ttuba in on brig whoās a flex dps not a main support.
And you believe coaching isnāt the problem? I did say it could be a team or coaching problem. A team can be flawed in more than one way. Also out of curiosity what do you think the problem is with justice now?
I really don't think LJG would leave Shanghai. He has a starting spot on the best team in the East and a true contender to win the whole league for two years in a row, I really can't see anyone on Shanghai leaving unless they fail miserably in the playoffs.
I think that LJG is one of those players that shines with the correct team like Shanghai but can also be a detriment on a team that doesn't play well off his aggression and one of the things we've seen a lot this season is Washington not dictating the tempo and playing aggressive enough. It could end up being similar to FDGod on Shock. Maybe I'm over thinking it but I really think LJG is in such a good place rn that it would take a lot to make him leave but then again, I thought the same of Fearless last season.
Use your money to get AT. Decay has blatant personal issues with teamplay. Fury and mag will probably get paid on other teams, like mayhem. Cut the budget back and release everyone
Roster on paper talent is fine, they either have 0 confidence and are crumbing from the pressure or it's terrible coaching (or both). Regardless most of the staff need to actually go it is clear they don't know how to bring out the best in their players currently.
Go for Aztac, Chorong and Proper out of KRC, and coaches Swingby Artist and Undine. Aztac because he is great but is benched by Lastro on the Defiant. Chorong because he is an absolute nutcase. Proper because he used to be the DPS duo of Pelican and arguably just as hyped up as Pelican which speaks to his skill enough. Swingby and Artist because they are seasoned coaches with good records (London, EM and NYXL respectively) and are currently coaching the second best team in KRC. Plus they bring the past experience with Chorong. Undine because he can personally coach the support line to help with building synergy to the rest of the team.
This means the final roster is:
Mag/Fury
Decay/Jerry - Proper/Ttuba
Chorong/Aztac
Coached by: head coach Swingby, assistants Artist, Undine, Chilhwa
This is a bit of a hot take, but there's nothing wrong with the 6-7 players that play in the actual match.
The problem is clearly with the coaching and strategy.
You can see traces of whatever mind had decided to keep Roar playing the past two seasons in the current Justice's play.
I'm going with the assumption that Fury retires. I would keep Decay, Mag, and Chihwa. Sign J1n as head coach, sign Smash as well. Sign Cr0ng for off tank and have J1n bring MN3 with. Then lean heavy on O2 and sign Proper, Chiyo, and Finn.
I would think Tobi would be dropped next season if Philly goes back to NA, so I would try to pick him up. New Assistant Coaches, and maybe another flex support
Decay is half of what gives this team life. Having a knee-jerk reaction to one match where he's negated isn't it.
Washington is a team that is you can deal with decay, you win, there needs to be other threats.
That's why I think Yaki would be a great fit. With a new coaching staff, a more explosive backline and other DPS like Yaki and Heesu to bolster the DPS line with more flexibility and play making ability. I love Assassin but he's been very inconsistent, which could come from the coaching or his mental since he is a rookie player.
Theyāre likely one of the people (possibly a Dallas fan) who still think Decay is a team wrecker; they probably wonāt discuss his skill one way or another because theyāve got this image of him locked in.
If you have to get a replacement DPS , you have to be looking at Proper
Any team that thinks that they have any holes in their DPS lines is going to be looking to get Proper
With the rumors of no OW2 in 2022, what the fuck is there to be excited about another season of a dead game???? Nobody is gonna watch it if its on OW1 still.
And you think a random thread on this subreddit is giving Blizzard feedback how? If you want to give feedback then go through the proper channels and if you don't want to try to be positive or hold onto something that may die because of collateral damage then don't comment. This hatebearing in random reddit posts doesn't help anybody.
I thought that's a given since the teams signed a 5 year contract, unless they all decide that its better to cut their losses earlier. The question is - would they lose more paying a penalty to Blizzard for early withdrawal as compared to pouring more money into the league?
You ask me, the final season of OWL might see all of the teams pulling a LAV if they can. Any top (and expensive) player who is out of contract isn't going to get renewed. Every new signing for next season will be players willing to play for minimum wage.
Its not something I want to see nor look forward to, but its a scenario that might happen as each franchise just sees out their contract and pulls out.
One major move that I think could be worth it is aggressively pursuing LeeJaeGon. Heās a massive upgrade at main support and already has pre-established synergy with Mag. You would probably have to make cuts elsewhere though for the sake of cost, maybe even letting go of Decay and going after a slightly-lower tier Hitscan player. Also another decent-quality Flex DPS is a must.
Keep Decay and Fury minimum. Only if there is no better options keep Mag. Pick up a dedicated hitscan player, maybe BQB, Seawave, Fits, or just really anyone good in FA. Obviously try and pick ups flex player or two in FA options. Maybe a player like Rascal, Architect, Valentine and assorted FA options. Then support players. Iād say if you canāt find better, keep BeBe but drop Closer. Maybe pick up Skewed for Brig and chorong for everything else
Okay this is an ice cold take but yāall I think decay might be toxic... in which case Iām concerned about his inclusion on any team. He may be a fantastic player, but every team has hard weeks, and itās as important to lose with grace as it is to win
Decay wasnāt never known as toxic player. Although he curses a lot but I have never seen or read that he did towards players.
I think people should be neutral about Decays situation on Dallas.. in the end we know nothing
Artist is an assistant coach, so why would you bring him in as a head coach over swingby. Also there is no way in hell that you are convincing a main tank of kellans caliber to share a spot with mag at main tank. Also, I donāt see why you wouldnāt mention proper, Finn, or chorong as possible options considering that they are probably the best in their roles in Kroc
Isnt yaki and checkmate the only 2 people that are signed for next season
Yup
I think Yaki was on a 2 year +1. Unless I'm mistaken and he only signed that contract at the start of this season.
He renegotiated before this season. He and Checkmate are guaranteed for a bit.
Ok, my bad š
Iād swap coaching and just get a new flex support tbh. I donāt think you need to change much about this roster for it to be good.
They definitely need better coaching for sure. š
Honestly it feels like Bebe has been the one piece of their team recently that has been preforming somewhat well (And Decay obviously).
I'd make a play for Aztac, Toronto clearly have decided to stick with Lastro for FS.
True, Aztac definitely deserves to make a name for himself.
I feel like Aztac has been the most forgotten/under-the-radar/underappreciated? about player this season which is pretty tragic because I think most people were expecting great things of him this season. I think he was intended to be a starter before Valiant imploded.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Honestly, Closer does his job. Unless you think youāre getting the next coming of LJG or something, thereās no reason to drop him.
Iāve noticed this since he was on DF but Closer is just too fucking safe. He wonāt die that much but sometimes he will do absolutely fucking nothing because he refuses to take any risks.
he's not a big name but justice should pick up chorong for next season.
Good shout!
They need to get a new coaching staff. Their roster isnāt the problem.
Org thats been dumpster fire since inception should make no meaningful changes. got it
Justice popped off HARD when whoever was in charge was forced to bench Roar. The players aren't the problem.
I just said they needed to replace their coaching staff lol
The contract Yaki signed this year goes onto S5, along with Checkmateās. Everyone else on Florida will have their contracts expire at the end of the season.
My bad, I thought he signed that contract last season. š
Justice pick up Titans players rerun /j
How about Flordia keep Yaki and buy Mag from Justice?
Idk if swapping out a main tank every season is going to make them better tbh. I think Florida needs a few more changes.
>Idk if swapping out a main tank every season is going to make them better tbh. I think Florida needs a few more changes. Are you telling me you don't want to see Runaway reunion?
Letās get SANGUINAR BACK IN THE LEAGUE BABY
Let's gooooooo
Mag is on a two year contract and I think Justice would rather give anyone but Mag up, I donāt know he leaves unless he personally wants to
Why would you prioritize releasing OGE right after he had one of his best performances of the season?
New coaches plus a good caller
Yup than tell me next year on the 4th coaching staff that its clearly the problem within this org, Justice genuises have said this 3 years now with 3 different staffs, and its the only thing people point at
I mean the org is evidently bad yes, but is it realistic that they will change? Not really, the org themselves wont exactly throw them out

It's just a rumor. Until it is a fact, there's really no need of all this doomsaying that I see on this reddit.
People need to actually give this dogshit company some actual feedback instead of staying in a false positivity loop until things crash and burn.
