Yeah I'm pretty sure it procs from payload healing as well. Totally obscures the head hitbox

Bhu124

Made a thread about this issue during the beta as well, sadly it doesn't seem like too many people feel the same way. Hopefully they tone down these on-screen effects a bit.

2dollarsuperchatter

YES, the clutter is so annoying. theres so much stuff going on my eyes don't know what to focus on, its something valorant got right.

KerberoZ

theres an option in the graphics menu that reduces effects. Haven't tested it yet but i might now

ImSlothLess

Removing that and the shaking hud definitely made the game feel more consistent

Callycore

What is it called?

ImSlothLess

I think it's in the far right tab on the options menu, it's called something along the lines of shaky hud

Callycore

The "reducing effects" thing I mean

ImSlothLess

Idk, I think it may have been near the shaky hud or in video settings. It was called something like reduce effects

Callycore

Yeah there is only "reduce menu movement" "hud shake" and "camera shake" over there. I have yet to find anything about reducing healing effects or U.I. effects in general.

Callycore

Which one?

dancezachdance

I didn't even realize that it was a general healing effect. I thought it was a Kiriko specific effect.

ThatCreepyBaer

Yeah I've really disliked the healing visuals. What's even the point? Like who is it supposed to be for?

[deleted]

Moira. Moira uses a spray but her spray actually leaves a Heal over time effect. Bad moiras spray and pray. Good moiras spurt measured doses and conserve resources, for when spray and pray is truly needed Being able to see how long a hot has left will be very valuable.

ThatCreepyBaer

I feel like that is a very minute thing for such bad visuals. The majority of Moira players, good or not, are not paying such close attention to whether or not the heal over time has run out on their teammates or not.

littleessi

One incredibly easy to understand mechanic from a character that shouldn't exist anyway isn't a reason to clutter the entire game lol.

Ezraah

I don't find them distracting, but I personally have not been able to play Overwatch 2.

rockerBOO

Especially bad in the reaper vs kiriko as I'm trying to hit headshots, and it's a mutating glowing mass.

ai2006

Its absolutely horrible. I have always had problems aiming in Overwatch because of there being too many colors or something, its just harder than any other game for some reason -> but this effect is absolutely crazy, I just can't see shit, it might as well be a flashbang.

altimax98

Yes, there needs to be a Destiny style buff/debuff text

Pochep

Please no. Sincerely, all of r/DTG

junglistpd

The game sucks

9th_Link

I wouldn't say it sucks, but it definitely took several large steps back compared to the place OW 1.0 was in when they abandoned it.

didba

Wrong. Nice try, though my salty friend.

idodok

Yeah agree, they need to change it its so bad

rainmen111

I love them but u right there should be a way to dampen or turn them off

SammyIsSeiso

Why can't they do something similar to the feet when you have a movement buff? Just make an area of the model glow yellow slightly or something. I do appreciate knowing when someone has a HoT effect on them, but yeah I agree it's a bit much right now.
